Just picked up my truck after having some work performed and as usual great work good price along with a great group of honest guys. I highly recommend this place. (Update) Just dropped my wife's car for repair. I wouldn't go anywhere else for work to be performed these guys are the best in Rochester with fair pricing.This coming from a retired mechanic.

Been going there for 14 years. Bruce, Tom and Andy are great! I’m always confident that they are going to take care of me.

If I could leave 0 I would . We took our car to them to have it fixed after calling them first to ensure they could do it . They stated they don’t do the type of repairs we need . And they returned it to us with a flat tire ( we just replaced all tires one week prior so brand new ) and a dead battery absolute trash . They gave us a car i worse condition than when we brought it to them . Stay far away

I called ahead to make an appointment and the person I talked to was very brash, usually not something that will deter me from doing business. I talked to this individual about what needs to happen with my car (fix heating, back windshield wiper fixed, safety and emissions inspection). The individual gave me an appointment. I dropped off the car the day before and I called the next morning to reiterate what I needed done and I talked to a completely separate person which they assured me my concerns would be addressed. Later that day, I went to pick up my car after they said it was completed and when I arrived my heating was the only action performed. They seemed confused that I had wanted the other two actions despite me describing twice what I wanted done. My heating now works which is why this isn't a full 1 star review, but I won't be returning my car to this auto-shop.

These guys are knowledgeable and their prices are fair. I have to send my wife to get stuff taken care of, and they never try to take advantage of her like other shops have. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Honest shop. Great prices. Quality work. Bruce, Tom and Andy have worked on a neighbor's vehicle for years. I have been his "shuttle" numerous times when they have done work. So, I have seen their work for awhile. Now, I was given a truck with many problems. I have had to have them do work on it multiple times. Prices were surprisingly fair and the work was done right the first time. Very pleased to have them work on things because I know I can trust them.

Very reliable and fair. Gets things done in a very timely manner. Definitely the ones I'll continue to use if/when needed in the future.

I've been bringing my vehicles here for over 25 years. Bruce, Tom and Andy are great. Very honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable and very fair priced. They have always had a great reputation in my neighborhood. I used to belong to a classic car club and several of our members trusted them to work on their classic vehicles.

Andy was rude when I dropped it off and rude when I picked it up (i.e, maybe he’s not a good fit for customer service). Although I think Bruce worked on the vehicle, unfortunately the check engine light turned on after 5 mins of picking it up...now I have to bring it back :/...It’s already been there for a week.

I brought a truck to the guys at Lakeshore Automative with numerous issues. Brakes, calipers, rotors, driveshaft, tie rods, alignment and last but not least exhaust manifolds with multiple broken bolts on both sides. I brought it to them in the morning and took it home the next afternoon. They even rotated my tires. Couldn't be happier with the guys at Lakeshore.

HONEST local mechanics are hard to come by! I was told by another that my electrical system and possibly engine were in serious danger. I took it in to lakeshore and come to find out, I just needed a new battery!! An AAA mechanic scared me enough to have it brought in to a professional. BTW-Dont trust their mobile battery "testers". Lakeshore could have ran with that emotion and taken me for hundreds. Instead, they turned out to be trustworthy, efficient, fair, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. They were able to change my oil and preform a state inspection as well. He even stayed open 10 mins past close because my ride got stuck in traffic. This is my new go-to shop! Thank you!!

A great repair shop. They do honest work and usually are able to get you your wheels back pretty quick.

I came in for an evaporation leak, and they charged me $75 to replace the gas cap, and it unfortunately didn't fix the issue. The work they did was good, but expensive.

These guys are great and fairly priced, are allways there when we need them, thank you lakeshore for years of quality service, proud to have you as our neighborhood garage.

I generally do my own repairs but had to take it to a mechanic today due to my schedule. Very honest guys! They don't fix things that aren't broken.

these guys are fair, decent and fast. if the work isn't done perfectly the first time, they'll fix it for free. men of few words but good work. I recomend them for auto work, not for conversation ;-)
