I'm not incredibly knowledgeable about cars, but the service advisors always make sure I understand what they're proposing before I sign off on it. Maybe most importantly, they make recommendations that accommodate both my budget and the safety of my car.

A while back I needed a opinion note for the DMV regarding my faulty lights. A car agency was jerking me around about their repairs. The DMV was investigating them. I went to George and Bob's where I use to go all the time when I lived in the area. I explained my situation to them and they wrote an opinion. They hadn't changed a bit! Customer service, friendliness, has always been a star point with them. I suggest giving them a chance if you need service on your vehicle.

What differentiates George and Bob's from other Irondequoit auto shops is their excellent customer service and attitude. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and efficient. You never feel like you're an imposition nor will they speak gruffly to you. They've given me same day service on several occasions. They can also perform factory maintenance. They don't try to oversell, just give the options and let you decide. We're fortunate to have an outstanding repair shop like this in Irondequoit!

A most excellent experience all around. I had an inspection done and got honest feedback from Mike about what absolutely NEEDED to be fixed, and what probably SHOULD be fixed, without twisting my arm. The young woman at the counter in the early morning was also a delight, even at the early 7am hour I was there for pickup and drop-off. I’d give it another bonus star if I could ⭐️

I needed gas so I stopped here but I also needed air in one tire, I went in and asked the gentleman at the counter if they had air as I needed to fill my tire. He told me where it was and as I pulled up I had no Idea the wonderful customer service I was going to experience, a gentleman named Josh filled my tire and I asked if they repair leaks he stated yes but went above and beyond by checking if it was repairable and not needing a new tire. He took his time and checked my tire and found a nail and told me he can definitely patch it up right then and there. Mike gave him the OK and he was able to fix my tire. I'm beyond thankful and fortunate that Josh took the time to do this and the customer service is phenomenal!!!!! Great customer service from both men! Thank you so much!!!! I would refer anyone here!!!

Over several years George & Bob's Services has applied mechanical skills for our SUVs. Also, excellent advice, timely repairs, kept promises, alerted us to needed maintenance and fixed systems before a breakdown occurred on the road. Our older vehicles are reliable thanks to their guidance and expertise.

First time here and I was very pleased that I did. They were honest, professional, and reasonably priced for the items I needed. I needed an inspection, oil change, tires rotated and brakes. As it turned out I did not need brakes of which another place told me I did. They also checked my car for other things and gave me recommendations for the future. I highly recommend them!

From the first time I went there, they explained everything, even showed me on my car why it needed what they said. I have been going ever since and trust them implicitly with my vehicle. I own a Mechanical repair shop in Albany Ny, one of my customers had a loose under shield on her vehicle. My customer called me and explained she was in Rochester it was 4 p.m. on a Friday and was driving back to Albany and needed help. I found George & Bob's, on Google called and spoke to Dave. Dave could hear the stress in my voice and said, Don't worry, ask her to come in we will take a look. She did, and Dave came through! it was a matter of a removing and installing the shield and few clips and he had her safely on her way. This shop is great, and Dave is awesome! He was able to work her in his already busy day, which meant the world to her and me. Rochester, this is the shop to go to. He truly cares about people.
