Never thought I’d be a review on a recycling company but I have to admit that I am very impressed. The system they have to return your bottles and recycle your no refundable items is very convenient and easy and fairly fast. I used to recycle my bottles in my blue recycling bin and let the city recycling trucks recycle them for me when trash day was coming but never again. I was literally throwing money away that I could have been using for groceries or gas for my car. I didn’t like the way big grocery stores have their bottles return set up and you had to separate cans from plastic and glass and the machine would always reject certain items and you would have to do it again and again until the barcode was scanned and most people would get frustrated with the whole process and never return bottles again because of the hassle. But my friend suggested going to this place and they do all the work for you and give you your cash right after your last bottle is counted. I got back $36 on my first time and it was amazing to see my money back in my wallet after I been giving it away for so long and that was only two weeks of saving bottles and it felt great to be recycling and getting back my money I been giving away. So don’t throw away your money bring back your recyclables and let these guys do the work for you and see how much more convenient it is and guarantee you will be a customer for life and be happy to help out with recycling and keeping our community cleaner and more sustainable.
I visited the Hudson Ave. location on Saturday Jan. 27. I had two small electronics pieces to dispose of. Your website says free electronics recycling. I was turned away after waiting for dozens of trash bags full of 5 cent container deposit returns. The attendant told me the cost was $15 dollars per car load. He could clearly see me standing there with two small items in my hands. I mentioned the website states the e-disposal is supposed to be free. He shrugged. Terrible experience and waste of time trying to do the right thing.
I chose this place because of the great Google reviews, and I wasn’t disappointed. Dynell and Tony were wonderful. Quick, efficient, and very friendly service!
My brief, yet very significant visit near closing, helped my friend find overnight housing after accepting my personal 4:50 pm horde of returns.
Forever here after, this will be my go to place.
