Terrible bedside mannerisms at this location I don't recommend anyone, not even my worst enemy smh customers shouldn't hear you discussing politics it's not our business who you voted for
Michael was lousy. My visit was 10/11/25 @3:48 pm. I waited in line and when I walked up to the counter he was glued to texting on his phone. He didn’t speak or asked if I found everything I needed. He didn’t even ask for my phone number for the rewards. He told me my total went back to his texting, didn’t realize I had made my payment because he was so focused on his phone. Didn’t bag my purchase nor had the decency to ask if I wanted a bag. He gave me my receipt while still looking at his phone. Not once did he treat me with any respect or customer service. He is the worst thus far. The older guy working with him that day must’ve been his terrible example. When I entered the store no one greeted me. I spoke to the older guy and he totally ignored me. I only chose 1 star because something had to be selected, however this Michael in particular gets a zero. Horrible employee representing this company.
It’s a service rep by the name of Rick that knew what I needed for my car. He did not hesitate to assist me. I had no wait time and he was patient with me when I was panicking over my car. I will recommend.
I rated O'Reilly with 1star and they don't deserve that the sales people at O'Reilly on Livernois and Lyndon nasty, disrespectful, they ignore their customers and I'm sure they don't like serving women don't go there ladies I was treated with much disrespect.
The staff was very knowledgeable. The store was clean and stocked. The Manager was Top-tier, he was she patient , extremely thorough he made sure I had the right parts for my vehicle. I was forever shop at this location.
I will go to this particular store no matter what , they are very helpful and considerate of your needs.Micheal the store manager is very polite,helpful I will recommend that store to anyone.
Been here since 7;30 doors still locked; they wont answer the phone or unlock the door; this commissioner service is terrible; I thought if the door says 7:30 they’d actually be open; I need 2 fuel pumps $450 each; I’m going to go to the competitor Autozone at least their open
The staff was super helpful and very pleasant! Especially the worker named Maurice. He went beyond his work scope to help me find the part that I need for my car. I appreciate that! He calmed me down as my sister and I were having a bad day☹️. His warm smile let us know we would be alright. I would recommend this particular O'Reilly's. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the doors😖. You have to push and pull😵💫. So if your hands are full then you have to put your items down, hold the door open with your foot, then exit 🫤. Bummer! At least the gentleman Maurice was super pleasant and made out day...so 🔊shout out to him for his kindness!
A lady Rep came from the back and didn't great and ask who was next which would have been me. So the customer that had just walked in and waited for 1 minutes versus my 8+ minutes was waited on, so I held my peace because he was a senior but then so am I. 2 other Reps were already waiting on customers when I first walked in the store.
Came up there for a new battery . I bought my battery in November. They sold me a battery that wasn’t for my car and wouldn’t give me a new one even though I have a warranty . Went to the location in highland park and had NO ISSUES ! Very rude and UNHELPFUL ! DO NOT SHOP HERE
It's a great place to shop. The guys that work there know what they are doing. They always give you the best price available, and they are very professional and kind mannered. I would recommend take all your business there.
WONDERFUL & MARVELOUS SERVICE!!!! I needed a wiperblade, salesman called out my wiper size by sight, and installed it. Total time: <6 minutes. Now that's SUPER SERVICE!!!
This people who work here are helpful and just amazing. I love going here. This is my go to place. Changed my tail ight and did not want my money donation as he did it for free but I made him take it.
Great service but they were out of Lucas fuel additive in the middle sized bottle again. It seems that this store can't keep enough of it in stock. But I'm not blaming the store itself. Everyone wants better gas mileage !
Was very disappointed in the service I received, I came in looking for a battery cable in which I was told it's on the wall, I asked the sales person, how do I know which one, she said, she don't know cause they're many and I had to look for myself since many came up on her computer , she was doing this while she was applying chap stick to her lips, after looking myself , I went to the O'reily website put in my car and year and behold right there it states which one fits my car, all it took less than a minute to find that part, but the sales person was to lazy and less caring to help a customer, it you go to this one on Livernois and Lydon avoid the sales lady with the Tattoo's on the chest and neck, I'll won't be going back there
My boyfriend called about a rack and pinion..they looked it up, gave a total and said once I come and pay it will be delivered in 2hrs. Went there and paid the SAME amount quoted on the phone…2 hours later he comes back with 2 big circle things that costed $128 (?). When I called and asked about the part, not only was it no more than $20-$30 dollars, but it was already there so I wasted hours and money for nothing. I have no clue how over the phone and in person they got the same info on a $128 part…but the third try the have the right info
On most days, this particular location is awesome and okay, but this one day I walked in with a buddy of mine. Saw this product that was indeed part of their apparently new product line. It just didn't seem to fit in its area of "auto" products. Anyways, we were just curious that they had it and the employees working there were the least to say absolutely unprofessional and made us feel uneasy. I hope that they are re-trained and get re-educated.
Prices are kind of high I usually go online but if I'm in a pinch I will go to the O'Reilly's in Ferndale they have knowledgeable people and you don't have to make a comeback for the wrong parts
Had the part I needed I went to the auto z of course they didn't have the part I was told over the phone they had. I walked right in the O'Reillys and they looked on the computer and BAM there was the caliper repair kit👍👍
I received really good and Friendly service as soon as I walked to the door. I was assisted by Deon, I think he may have been the manager. I think the customers they're really charged at his judgment because he is saying is if they were waiting for him to finish before they went up to the counter to order their parts.
Mike & Bernard are a dynamic duo... not to leave the pleasant young lady out - who was more than willing to help- BUT these dudes provided exceptional customer service with care 💪❤️🤩🔥💕
I’ve always been an o’reillys fan due to their competitive pricing as well as some of their brands they carry. But I MUST SAY today I was amazed by how great the customer service was. I was having issues with my vehicle out in the parking lot and as I entered the store I was greeted and recommended things right off rip simply off of them watching me from in the store. I came in with 400 dollars in a rush to grab whatever components I needed. And I was advised don’t jump the gun I told them I knew what I needed and it turns out they were COMPLETELY right. Not only did they save me time and money but they all were very friendly and knowledgeable. I had given up on Detroit businesses years ago because often they are very unprofessional. But I told the guys that lunch was on me simply because how great they were. RICHARD WAS AWESOME!!! I love his honesty,positive demeanor,and welcoming attitude. I swear I wish I had cash because I would have tipped him and his crew most certainly deserved it!!! I’m so blown away by how well ran this store is you can tell by looking at them they all get along and have their own little crew in there. I like how they are all laid back And very helpful but also serious and very professional. While in the store I also witnessed someone trying to return old parts and I felt bad that such nice people were being ripped off but rich (who I take is a manager) didn’t lose his professionalism, was still very polite yet stern with the customer trying to do fraudulent business. All I have to say is very good job and I think each and every one of the staff members there on 3-28-20 at 3 pm all deserve raises and promotions!!! This is how I wish every store was ran. Although I live in Toledo Ohio I’ll definitely be paying these guys a visit next time I am in the area.
