I Never will I visit this garbage place again they have the worst copper prices. They do not separate copper one and two they try to give you copper two for everything even when separated they argue with you and they give you, short you and still give you a check a day later. I recommend southend metals they give 4$ instead of 3 a pound on copper, they dont short you and they give you cash same day
If you like to get robbed $.15-$.20 cent cheaper than everywhere else Like to lowball you even when you speak up and say something, they still don’t care
Came To Scrap And A Guy Name Thomas Who Claim He Was The Manager Was Very Rude Snatched My Ticket When I Told Them The Weight Was Incorrect. My Child Was in The Car Watching
I weighed my scrap copper at home 4 times and it weighed 70 lb I then went to Red metals today and realized they slammed me by 40 lb. I will never go there again to scrap anything,they have lost any of my or future business or any future recommendations!!!!!
I was a regular here until they hired new staff. The old staff would take your No. 1 copper off the scale first and then take off your No.2 . These new guys will count all of your No. 1 and No.2 together and tell you that you should have seperated it. I felt like I got robbed.
Prices seem to be average, but not particularly high. Staff was quite brushed, but efficient. Very confused on where to enter as there was no signage. Does not accept electronic recycling or lead acid batteries.
This is the LOWEST I've ever been paid for scrap or aluminum. 7 cents? and 40 cents respectively? that's absolutely ridiculous I lost out over 100 dollars. Never coming here again.
Went there for the first time today and had a seamless transaction. There is a gentleman named Calvin that works there that every business would love tohave. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Definitely will return.
Didn't have long to wait, but received .03lb for an exhaust pipe (steel) and a stove/range. Received 5 bucks-- hardly worth the trip when national average is .045lb bare minimum. I feel like I got hustled.
Nice guys. Very helpful. But VERY slow. I usually sit in a line for a half hour at least. They unload one vehicle at a time. And the time depends on the speed of the drivers and if they are going to sort their material when they get there.
This place is fast, fair, and gives you cash via an ATM . Be prepared to leave your thumbprint and signature. I have mine on file and service is fast and with a smile. Metal prices vary. Easy enough to check on google. For example, last year, steel was $160 a ton, now its $15. Don't expect something for nothing. By summer, steel will be much higher.
I use them once a week, so far, always honest. Actually, I got a call last year saying that they underpaid!! me, my steel was apparently high grade tool rather than low grade, and there is a price difference. Went back, got another $200. They could have kept their mouths shut, but they didn't. Looked the same to me. I like that kind of honesty, no matter what ethnic whatever....end results we are all Americans....
