.Hey there fellow drivers. I delivered at this location yesterday and it wasn't as bad as the reviews. Workers were polite, not too lazy. The only hiccup was they rescheduled my appointment. I had a 5:30 PM delivery. They told me to come back at 2am. There is a dirt lot directly across the entrance of the plant, so I didn't have to go far, and when I went back at 2am, they had me out of there in 30 minutes and I did get $150 layover from the broker. So it wasn't too bad, I guess it's all in how you take it. Y'all know how trucking is.It's a love and hate relationship.

employees don't work at all keep using the phones and just waste time of the drivers and then blame them whereas the authorities doesn't seem to be bothered by this unprofessional behaviour of their employees

Kayla M orders DoorDash after hours knowing that they don’t allow anyone on the property at a certain time but that doesn’t matter to Kayla M she’ll still order knowing door dashers aren’t allowed on the property and act like a drama queen when someone wants her to grab it from outside, oh also she’ll report that she never got the order because I guess they don’t pay her enough to order fast food on a daily.. sorry your life sucks Kayla M

I had 1 skid but no one is around to unload everyone is sleeping or playing on the phone…and no one talks to you waited 2 hours to get unloaded wow…..

Been here multiple times. Staff rarely ever talk to you. They are always sitting around playing on their phones. And make sure you pull on the correct side of the security shack(said with sarcasm and emphasis)to check in even though the lanes are not marked or you get an attitude and shit from the security personnel. Can’t can’t stand coming to these types of places. And it’s not just here it’s at multiple different plants to.

FOR TRUCK DRIVERS: some days are good and everything goes well with shipping/receiving, but some days are so bad you can get stuck for up to 30 hours. Keep that in mind when coming here. Overall, not a bad place, pretty easy to navigate and most people you have to deal with are ok.

Weekend delivery was quick. Got a dock and got unloaded right away. Everyone was friendly, process was easy.

This place is a nightmare! Trucks are always backed up and they don’t care about appointments. Workers always acting like little kids, fooling and playing around, on their phones and very unprofessional. I don’t blame them, why work if you can be on your phone all day and get paid for it. UPDATE: THIS PLACE GIVES ME PANIC ATTACKS!

I had a expedited delivery at 01:30, went to B dock got unloaded and reloaded in about 2 hours. Not to bad of a experience considering all the bad reviews I've seen.

Very rude and unprofessional receiving employee On May 28th 2024 I arrived to make a delivery at B Docks, the receiving employee was very unprofessional and rude and she was talking to the drivers as if she is doing them a favor receiving the freight. If she doesn't feel like doing the job that she is getting paid for to do I will suggest that she leaves this position and I'm sure somebody else with a better communication skills would be filling this position in no time.

Always on phone no one to listen empty forklift its been 4 hours now I’m waiting here still they told me nothing change Well if you are coming to this plant must bring snacks with you You will definitely waste your 6-7 hours here Thanks

Last time waited 7 hours to get unloaded and paperwork. Paperwork takes several hours and many other drivers were waiting for a long time. I go to hundreds of places and everyone is able to get you your paperwork in around 60 seconds. If you go here you will almost assuredly spend your whole day. Heard from many drivers that say they waited all day, never got loaded or unloaded, and left. They are extremely rude and everyone seems really angry.

I hope they change the whole staffs on that planet because they not doing their job and being lazy and on their phones. Come on GM do better or pay them good wages so they can do better!? I waited for 44 hrs on line!!!

I was literally dropped off an entire pallet of stuff that belongs to gm. When calling this company security transferred me to the sipping dock where the lady working on the doc refused to help me and hung up the phone on me. This is insane 4 hours and many phone calls later and I still can’t reach anyone from gm.

Worse pickup location possible. Drivers do not go. Last time I spent 17 hours for unloading. This time it seems that pick up will be 40 hours waiting easy. Last time I go there. The disrespectful and don't value drivers and their time. Management at this plant is severely lacking in doing their jobs

I checked in at the guard shack at 8 am, now it's 4 pm, the line only moved one time. And still 20+ truck in front of me. Spoke with another driver he told me he is been here since yesterday 9 am, that's more than 30 hours. This is DOCK J , they socks. Never coming back unless they pay double. Stay away folks. It's not worth it. Normal waiting time is 10+ hours.

Many drivers cheat the line. They don't respect the line .the office should look at the check-in clock at the entrance. these drivers exit from the left side . this is the photo entry..when they tell you to go to dock J, as if they sentence you to 25 years in prison . that's how long the waiting time is

Twice now, I've visited this location and both times I've waited over six hours. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff has been consistently unprofessional. They've come across as rude and dismissive “I feel like they hate drivers but I’m sure they hate themselves”. The overall environment is disorganized and unclean. What I found most inconsiderate was the placement of the driver waiting area directly in front of the restroom. I hope future improvements can be made to ensure a more positive experience for everyone. For truckers' reference, the truck entrance is located at the intersection of E Grand Blvd and Trombly St.

I’m a truck driver so this review is for the dock especially dock B we come deliver here and we wait for min. 4 hours - half a day , it’s been a while since I came delivered here but some changes happened they’re done working on my trailer in May 20 mins yes I wasn’t loaded much but still we were like hate our lives delivering to this dock but yesterday’s different, thank you William dock supervisor thank Melissa team leader I appreciate you thank you GM for the changes , GM should hire more Williams and more Melissas ?

There is a huge yard but it's full of racks, pallets, scrap, so truckers have to maneuver around, blocking each other and the access to docks. And Yes, you have to sit on plastic chair and wait. No restrooms. ? FCFS It's true what others say: bunch of workers just sit on their phones! Updated: Unbearable place, every time. They just sit , sleep and chill! ?? The waste!!!

Every one @ Dock J should be fired… but it a union job soooooo….. Arrived 20 minutes before appointment….. left over 9 hours later….. senseless. I’d give zero stars if I could

Came in at 2pm !! Delivery at Dock B !! waited till 6pm and was told to come back next day (4 pallets) Screwed my Next load and week !! Check in: 2:15pm 5/2/24 Check out: 7:30am 6/2/24

My driver shows up on time for delivery and they make him wait 6 hours only to be told they wont unload him until next day. DO NOT COME HERE THEY DO NOT RESPECT CARRIES OR DRIVERS TIME. YOU WILL POTENTIALLY LOSE A DAY

Another AWFUL place to pickup or deliver!!! Plan on being here atleast 5 hours for just 1 single pallet!!! And why?? Well the Hilo drivers are more focused on texting, eating, an bsing with coworkers than actually working.

Security was friendly, fork lift operator was fast and friendly. The receiver lady was more concerned with her convo with coworkers than doing her job. Quick unload at A dock.

This is an automobile manufacturing plant. Not sure why people post rants and raves about the brand or GM management here. GM cars like my Buick Lucerne were made here. Drove by on a long trip to see where my car was born, and as I was unannounced, understandably they couldn’t care less my Buick made the pilgrimage home. I did it for fun. The plant looked modern and glistened as a holdout for American manufacturing power in one of the most devastated industrial areas of Detroit. Waste and crumble lays everywhere. And yet, this plant still stands. Took a couple pics of my car 10 years later at the main gate, drove it a couple of times around the perimeter, and left. It was fun, it was real, it was... ok I guess...
