The store actually smells bad they really didn't have a selection of nothing first time I was ever there the last time I ever go

Love the prices, the parking lott could be a little bigger and wish there was more registers open when I come in

My husband grew up going to a UGO and as a first time visiter, this place isn't too shabby! Similar to an Aldi, you can find great deals across the store, including name brands. When in the area, I'll definitely stop in.

Since the Company has been sold the new management has the right idea. Great price, good meats, really good produce delivered by local growers.

Fun to come across good finds. Never know what they will have but you know the prices will be good!

This is the absolute best place aside from our local farmers' market to buy fresh organic vegetables & fruits. Elderberry syrup is sold here, too. In season flowers sold during spring & summer months.

Chapman hwy store needs to train their employees to speak, and be friendly to the customers. Was in Knoxville working for 3 days this week and went into the store both times the person at the checkout first time was a lady second time was a guy, neither one spoke they told me the total they didn't say thank you they didn't smile. Furthermore I bought eight ears of the tri-colored corn, I should have shucked it back to check if it was tri-colored sweet corn . Today after fixing two ears, this corn is not only silage corn but it's also stale. You people need to pick up the pace, sorry experience I'll never returned there our store is in Elizabethton and is a great store mm

Great deals but keep an eye on the expiration dates and don't forget to check out angus Tuesday deals.

I shop here a LOT!! You have to watch for expiration dates (some are past), but the prices are FAR better than regular stores. Typically, though MOST past expiration are STILL fine for SEVERAL more days. Just don't get it if you're "stocking up". The only problem is that since they are a "clearance" store, you don't have the luxury of having the same items in stock on a regular basis, but if you're like MOST of us, the price is what matters. Instead of 4 bags at $120 at other stores, I come out with SIX bags at $80. MORE than enough to last me a week (or more) for less than what I get for A FEW DAYS at other stores! I've found a LOT of great deals there INCLUDING coffee (bags) for $1.99... But don't EXPECT that item you need to be that cheap AGAIN any time soon, since the price is all based on what they can get!! If it's something you can freeze (like the coffee) BUY IT UP so you don't have to pay $13 somewhere else later. Canned items are the same deal, they are generally fine long past the "best by" date so having a couple extra isn't a bad idea. If you're like me and on a B U D G E T (SS) than this is the place to shop if you want to EAT at a price you can AFFORD. BEST part is that every time I've been there, the staff has been BEYOND excellent and helpful. These are some good people who aren't afraid to PROVIDE that customer service that just doesn't exist in a LOT of places!!

There meats are usually cheaper hear then most groceries chains stores and there meats are fresh with large variety.some of the other foods are reasonable compared to others. Give this place a try especially with meats.

I enjoy shopping here to pick-up items that I normally do not buy as it is cheaper. They have a good variety of produce who the prod. manager keeps clean, organized and well stocked. The store was recently remodled and the new layout is nice and they are offering more. Great bargains.

I usually have a pleasant experience here but today 6/21/2024 the cashier really put a bad taste in my mouth. He wasn't friendly at all. Didn't greet customers. He dropped my bag and instead of trying to pick it up he just have me a STENT YOU GONNA GET IT LOOK. I barely got a thank you out of him. He really needs to work on his customer service cashier#828

Prices are usually good but pork is often bad before sale by date. Use to they would just exchange but new manager is requiring receipt even though it is clearly from UGO and expired before the sale by date. I just want pork that's not rotten.

If you are looking for a way to save money on groceries then this is your pocketbook's best friend? I am a fan of the produce: ?????????? FOR MY JUICING CREATIONS .... The veggies and fruit are perfect for this. They are one of the few places that sales SEEDED WATERMELONS. They also have yellow ones. ? This location is conveniently on the bus line which is always a plus for serving most of our community members. The only problem that I have going to UGO is it gives me a "not clean" feeling. I think it's because the buggies are old and the lighting is not like big box grocery stores.

So... it's not fancy, but you won't find better prices. They may not always have exactly what you want, but their produce and meat department quantity and quality are on par with big box stores. Don't buy overpriced eggs & cheese at big stores either. You will not believe how much you're overpaying at other stores.

They have some of the best deals in town! The fresh produce is one of the best I’ve seen! They have great prices on meat as well! The store is really well organized so if your looking for something it’s easy to find! Also if your a fan of the Kinders brand they have it as well!

Moved from out west to Tennessee and was missing my 99 cent store. United Grocery Outlet carries some similar items that reminded me of the 99 cent store, and they carry items from other shops at a discounted price! There are other items that may not be as good of a deal but you just have to know how to compare it if you want to get the best deal. As you would expect, certain items are close to their best by date or has past it, but it's no biggie when most are shelf stable goods. Great for stocking up on snacks, certain frozen foods, condiments etc. I'll be making trips back when I'm in the area!

We love shopping here, they have some things that you can't find anywhere else. The prices are great, the meat department always have good deals. The staff are always courteous and helpful. If you have any questions about a product, just ask for Madge. She knows what people are buying and will tell you what she likes. She has never failed us, and is the sweetest little lady you'll ever meet. Give them a try and happy shopping.

This location was stocked well with several goods and had a larger meat department than other stores in the area. But I did not find as good of a deal as with other stores and some of the food product was expired.

I love this store! Just be sure to get something when you see it because it may not be available on your next trip. Products are ever changing but it's an inexpensive place to shop. Also now that they have fresh meats over frozen meat in the past, there is much more available. I have purchased New York strip steaks there and they were outstanding. Great job!
