OK. Guys. I am in my 60s. So I have bought many vehicles new and used over many years. I just bought a Honda Ridgeline Here from Brian and Rob. This is a smaller dealership run locally by Brian and Rob. These two gentlemen are awesome they are polite, knowledgeable and above all Honest. The price we paid was fair and we like the truck. They also do auto repair service here on what they sale and for the general public. They stand behind what they sell. I know this because after test driving the truck we decided to buy it. We drove the truck home to Loudon. It drove great. After getting to Loudon the truck had a belt start squelching. I called them and they were so nice even after the sale was made. They told me to bring the truck straight over and that they would take care of the problem. We took the truck over there. Brian set us up with a free loaner car while they fixed the truck issue. We returned the next day and our truck was fixed and ready to go again. At no charge by the way. Thanks guys you all are awesome there you have earned all of my future business for car buying and for repair service. I want to give a big shout out to one of the mechanics there. Jimmy. He is a very nice old school gentleman just like I am. They earned my respect and business by their actions and from all of their great reviews . Reviews matter. And honesty in reviews matters the most. That's why I am writing this review. If you want to buy a vehicle or have your vehicle serviced. I bought my current car here ten years ago. I got a very fair price, and the amount I got for the car I traded in was also very fair. The process was easy and the people were easy to work with. I've been happy with the car and if we still lived in the area, I would consider buying another car here in the future.

I’ve bought 2 cars here and they’re great! The last dealership I went to (OBF Oakridge) ruined me on buying cars. They were everything you stress about when trying to find a decent dealership and it was horrible so I was really hesitant about all dealerships but Karns Motor is absolutely fantastic. They were honest, they didn’t BS anything and their prices were by far way better than anywhere else. Like actually reasonable price tags on cars and after the last place I was so suspicious but everything’s been great. I’m not gonna get into all the details but one of the cars we bought had an issue after just a few days and they went above and beyond to solve the issue and were just super nice and considerate. So basically if you’re looking for a reliable car in good shape from awesome, honest, and helpful people than I 100% recommend Karns Motor Co!!!

Had a lucky purchase from this place and couldn't be happier with the car we got. I know very little about the business but everyone was super nice and helpful. It may be a small business, but if you're looking for a used car these people might be able to help you. Also, I think they do repairs and stuff so check them out because if you're local this might be your new spot.

Rob and Brian are good people. I've bought my last 4 cars from them and all have been pretty decent for the most part. My only issue is, they've always told me that if something messed up on them to bring them to them and they'd fix them. They've only done that once and it was because the car just wasn't drivable. The past 2 times I've tried to get them to fix a car I bought from them they haven't been helpful. The last car I got from them had electrical problems and isn't even drivable now and the current car I have had had issues since I got it. I called to see if I could get them to change my brakes and rotors and first I got an excuse about parts being harder to get, so I offered to bring the parts because I know they're in stock. Nope can't do that. Then I get told it'll take 2 days and I'd need to drop my car off on Tuesday and pick it up Wednesday. Unfortunately can't do that because the last junk I bought doesn't drive and I have nothing else. I used to recommend Karns to everyone who asked me where to get a good car, but not anymore. After this, I'm done being told they stand behind their cars and to only bring them there to get fixed and then get brushed off whenever I need one fixed. If you are thinking about getting a car here then take it and get it checked for electrical problems first, because the past 2 I've gotten have both had electrical issues. The 3 stars is solely based on the way Rob and Brian have always treated me in the buying process. If not for that, would be 1 star. Would be 5 stars if they actually did stand behind the cars they sell and do what they tell you they are going to.

Rob has never disappointed us. We've purchased one vehicle for our daughter and one as a primary car for us. Knowing that we wanted to put our daughter in a safe vehicle, Rob found a perfect fit - an older Acura that was in very good condition and road worthy to get her back and forth from college. We'd recommend Karns Motor to anyone.

Rob is a great person to work with, even from out of state. He was able to handle all my questions and all the sale details over the phone and via text. The vehicle was top notch and fully serviced before it was sold. Karns pays attention to the quality of its cars and the quality delivered to its customers. It’s the best experience I’ve had in a long while, and the vehicle is still running trouble free. Karns is a rare dealer with the know how to offer the right cars to the right customers. Pay attention to what they have on their lot.

They are extremely clear and honest. Friendly, reliable, and quick. In my humble opinion, they are the best auto repair shop in Knoxville. We haven't purchased a car from them, but they'll be the first place we go when it's time for a new one. Edit: We bought a Honda mini-van from them. The process was super easy, not pressured, fair, and honest. They even let us test drive for a few days to really see if it was right for us. Hands down the best in Knoxville. Honestly.

I just bought a 2010 white Volkswagen beetle from here. The owner was so helpful, responsive & went above & beyond!!! I am so impressed with their friendly & helpful service. Their cars are very well kept & cleaned. They aren’t your typical cars salesmen, they care about you getting a great car for a great price. If you are debating on visiting Karns Motor Company you definitely need to! Overall a wonderful experience.

We had been looking for a Honda Element and found one a great one at Karns. After speaking with Rob, it was becoming apparent why Karns gets so many positive reviews. We took the 3+ hour trek from Madison, AL and made the purchase for a fair price. Great service and great experience (first time I've said this about purchasing a car!). Rob is the best; just wish they would relocate to Madison....Roll Tide!

I had been searching for over a week for a reliable used car for my daughter to drive to and from her job and around town. The 98 Toyota Avalon that she had driven for years had finally expired. I went to several of the large dealerships in town but only found overpriced or extremely high mileage cars in my price range that I knew I would be servicing within days or weeks of the purchase. Happened to come across Karns Motor Co on an internet search and found a car with the mileage and the price I needed. The 2010 Ford Focus had been well maintained and in excellent condition with low miles. I was also happy with the documented check of the car by Karns Motor Co that was provided to me before the test drive. Rob, who was my salesman, made sure that I was able to purchase the vehicle on the day I needed it even though there were hiccups due to a bank holiday. He guaranteed that I would get the vehicle when I needed it and I did. Would highly recommend Karns Motor Co. and ask for Rob for great customer service.

Fantastic! I was looking for a clean southern truck. They had it! Worked a deal over the phone. Everything Rob said was truthful and honest! Seriously...the best buying experience I ever had. I drove 520 miles! To find this truck. Not disappointed. even though I'm 8 hours away I'll be shopping here again! UPDATE: 8 months later truck still is running great. Had a few little regular maintenance issues but the truck has 160k so....it was expected! Always get compliments with the occasional offer to buy this truck when at gas stations ect...great place to purchase. hope all is well at karns motors!

I just got my car from Rob and I love it so much. He gave me an amazing deal, and seems to really care. I am 19 so this was my first time buying my own car so I was all over the place, but he never rushed me and stayed so patient. This was an amazing experience. I dealt with Rob (Owner) when it came to purchasing my used 2011 Honda Fit Sport 5-speed manual with 76k miles. As many reviewers have already mentioned, Rob takes care of all the vehicles on his lot and makes sure he describes them as accurately as possible. I drove down 4 hours from GA to purchase my vehicle. He was awesome enough to have one of his employees pick me up from the Enterprise nearby since I had to drop off my rental. They picked me up and brought me back to the dealer to complete all my paperwork. I highly recommend going through Karns Motor Co for your next used vehicle purchase.

Better late than never I always say. I purchased a 2008 Mazda 3 hatchback grand touring manual 5 years ago with 94000. I work an hr away and needed a car that fit my needs. Everyone was very understanding on price as well as negotiating with very little hassle. Currently, the ole Mazda is going strong at 216+ miles and the only maintenance I have needed were normal brakes, tire, and oil changes. Expect a return from this guy in the next year for another great reliable vehicle. Appreciate the car I was sold and these gentleman have earned my trust. Thank you!

I had the best experience I think I've ever had purchasing an automobile. There were honestly so many beautiful cars to choose from, you can definitely tell that they truly care about what their selling. Rob one of the owners was amazing, a great conversation to make you feel well taken care of but most of all very knowledgeable and very attentive to any questions or concerns you may have. I have bought so many cars from Karns Motor Company that I can't even remember the number. It is the only place I will consider to go for a pre-owned car. I've found that they have always been fair, competitively priced and I can count on them for great service as well. My last purchase was last month and I bought a 2004 Lexus RX330 and I absolutely LOVE it!!! If they don't have what you are looking for on the lot, then their General Sales Manager, Gene Blevins will find it for you!
