This is a review all the while holding myself accountable for not reading the paperwork. I've done tens of thousands of dollars of business with these people throughout the past few years and recently bought a transmission at the end of 2025. I did not read the warranty paperwork because I felt we had established a pretty good business relationship. The warranty paperwork read at the bottom, and I quote, read details on reverse side ". There was no other side to the receipt that I had for the transmission, it was blank. Instead of holding the garage Bay hostage with my car waiting on a new transmission, we removed the transmission to return it with paperwork and was told that I should have read the warranty stipulations that read I needed to leave the transmission installed and provide a video of the codes that the failed transmission was throwing. Again, there was no reverse side to my warranty paperwork. I called multiple times weeks before the warranty was to expire as I was asked to, and never received a return phone call. I never wanted a refund but would have at least liked an operative transmission for this car. I know they will not notice my money not being there, but I will never spend a dollar here a day in my life
When I first took the position of parts manager, I was hesitant to ever use Knox Auto because of the salesman I first did business with. In fact, I would purposely order a more expensive used part from another vendor just so I didn't have to deal with him.
However, I am glad that I gave Raja Fahad a try, because he has been above phenomenal. Raja is quick to respond to my emails, he fills my OpsTrax orders within minutes, and he is always at his phone ready to do business. If there is ever an issue, such as ETAs or labor credits, he is always ready and willing to work with me in order to find a solution. Very professional and I hope to continue our business relationship going forward.
I purchased an Audi engine from knox on eBay, and even though it turned out to be the wrong fit for my car they handled the situation incredibly well. Instead of shipping the wrong engine they immediately informed me of the incompatibility and went above and beyond to help me. They provided me with detailed technical information and even helped me locate the correct engine from another source. Their honesty, professionalism, and knowledge really stood out. Highly recommend them for their integrity and outstanding customer service!

My teenage driver had a fender bender and needed a pearl white rear passenger door for his 2013 Altima. There was some slight miscommunication about what color I needed, but by the next day they had the right color door waiting on me. The color matched perfect. They have an impressive operation here and I'll definitely be back whenever I need a replacement part. Door marches perfect and looked like a new one.
Part, sun visor, arrived quickly. However, it was very dirty and took some time to clean. By the time I was able to get it fully clean and tried to install it, I found out it's more broken than the one I'm wanting to replace. It's too late to return it, and now I'm out $100.

Been waiting for two weeks on a rim and have gotten no updates and have called several times. Finally got someone to answer asked about my order and he said “hang on” then sent me to a voicemail. Called back again and he sent me to the eBay help desk. I ordered directly from their website.
The fact that everything here is twice the price of basically everywhere else is wild with the condition. Maybe price match similar items. Better driving 100miles to NC or west TN to pay half price on large items
Beware if you’re ordering an interior part or seat. I ordered a heated and cooled leather seat for a Cadillac only to find it sitting in the rain with other seats. Not only was it soaked but it looks like who ever pulled it just yanked the connectors out leaving it useless. Another customer who was picking up a seat he ordered was equally appalled by what we saw. I’ll never pay for a part sight unseen again.
They want you to pay up front sight unseen for parts that haven’t been removed from the vehicle yet, and then wait days to be able to pick up your own part. Wont allow you to remove your own part to speed along the process. Corporate entities such as this one are exactly what’s wrong with the auto industry and part of the reason why prices are continuing to climb. I found the part I needed, absolutely no reason I shouldn’t be able to get it and return to work tomorrow, yet here I am stuck out of work while I wait on a “salvage yard” to disconnect 4 bolts and sell me a bumper.
Order a front 4x4 axle for a 2nd generation Dodge, they called when it was ready for pickup. I arrived and they loaded the axle after I checked in at the front office. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. They will definitely get my repeat business and I'm going to tell all my family and friends.
Just wanted to leave a shout out to Kyle Boyd I had an issue and he resolved it by reaching out to me and after explaining my reasoning. He did not hesitate to help me out out within 2 emails.
Ordered a part, lady on the phone said ready tomorrow, 3 days later it was ready. Got it home on Friday, it was missing a piece. Had to Wait till Monday to call back. Was told they will call me back, they never did. 2 days later i Went into the knoxville office and spoke to Ivan, he said, I will have it tomorrow and call you back to confirm. Ivan called me back the same afternoon and had the part ready and waiting on me the next day. Ivan is amazing and needs a raise, the people on the phone in another state, they're terrible.
We purchased a 1.6L engine with low miles and a great warranty. Installed this weekend without issues. Thank you for a great engine and great customer service.
Well, I bought a transmission paid a $1550 core came back to get my core a week later and they tell me they don’t have cash on hand. I gave them cash but they can’t give me cash back said they could mail me a check that would take 10 days, or put it back on the card that I didn’t even use To do the purchase I have never seen a savage yard this big not be able to write you a check on hand or give you cash back if they are going to charge a core of $1550 they should carry that much cash in the office and said their bank is in Kansas City they can’t go to the bank and get it. Do they not make daily deposits or weekly deposits I guess they drive to Kansas City every time I’ve never had a problem with the parts they’ve always been good. They’ve always honored their warranty, but the core have always been a problem.
This place is a gem! The service is excellent, and the sales team, regardless of gender, is exceptional. The facility is always clean, and their warranty is fantastic. The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I'm excited to become a frequent shopper here.
Don't waste your time or money with this crooks. Just go buy new parts most times it's cheaper anyway. Just sat on hold for 20 minutes was told the part was on the shelf then was given a work order to go pick it up so drove an hour over to be told it was sold 3 minutes ago. I hate this business. Closed account will never use again. If you must buy used highly recommend lamberts on Clinton hwy. More than fair pricing and knowledge.
Went through Knox Auto Parts when my rear end in my Ram decided to go out. Spoke with Angelo and he was able to get me a rear end by the very next day delivered to the shop of my choice. Once the part arrived, there was an issue with the part but Angelo was quick about getting me another part the very next day. I have continued to use Knox Auto Parts because of Angelo and his helpfulness and professionalism.
The customer service was excellent, I talked to Richie. OMG he was so professional and patient with me, I didn't know anything about transmissions before this interaction. If I need a part in the future I will definitely use this company, so polite and knowledgeable.
I had ordered a door hinge for my vehicle, a 2012 Chevy suburban. They sent the wrong part, and despite repeated calls and assurances, still do not have it. Tired of waiting endlessly on hold only to get hung up on. Out $85.00 for nothing.
Still waiting but just think I am out my money.
Follow up: They credited my money back. I am satisfied with the outcome, but ultimately still ahem to find the part I need somewhere. I appreciate their resolving this matter.
Bought a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis wheel from Knox on their eBay site. It arrived quickly and as described. They had fair prices for the parts. Based on this experience, I would use them again as needed.
Employees are cool. They have lots of inventory. The pricing structure is strange and can very widely for the same part, sometimes the nicer part can be way cheaper then a beat up part. But it's a great option for late model parts that pull a part doesn't have and you can't wait for ebay delivery.
Went today to pick up a order we placed. Wasn't able to walk due to a surgery a few days ago. Had two kids under 6 with me and called the store when I arrived. A nice gentleman by the name of Kevin answers the phone. I gave him the order number and ask if he could bring it to me in the parking lot. He said no problem and got the part and put it in the vehicle for me. Will definitely be going back and thanks for your kindness today and doing it with a Smile.
Shopped online for a replacement wheel. The staff was very helpful in helping me get my part. Very fast with getting my replacement wheel and the condition was better than expected. Surprised to receive a phone call when the part came in. I am big on service and in my opinion, they gave me the best service in this field. Best resources I could find to locate my part as well. A+
They had the part I needed at a fraction of what the dealer wanted. They let me try the module on my truck in the parking lot to make sure it would on my year model. They saved me a bunch of money and we're friendly and helpful. I won't hesitate to do business with again.
