This is an excellent place to take recycled materials. I dropped off folded moving boxes. Open on a Saturday too, which is a big help!

It's never clear when they're open on the weekend. I used to go on Sundays but they seem to be closed on Sundays now. Their site just says "open 8 AM to 8 PM". Now I go on Saturday, but once in a while it's closed on Saturday too. No posting about hours that I can find. It's just a bunch of dumpsters in a parking lot so I don't see why they can't leave it open 24/7 minus a few hours to haul stuff out. Some clarity on the matter to help us plan would be appreciated.

We were genuinely worried there would no room for our cardboard recycling. Three different containers were full. We had some extra large pieces we wanted to recycle that didn’t fit in our recycling can. We luckily were able to squeeze our pieces in.

Too small. Odd location. Needs more containers. More Prozac for the employees that work there.

Closed at 5:45p Sun despite being marked as open till 8p? Usually a good place though.

They don't follow their own hours or announce changes

Absolutely horrific service, should you need to speak to the attendant should you need help. I was in the process of moving to Knoxville from out of state, while managing swing shifts and a very demanding work schedule. I rushed over to drop off my recycling 10mins prior to close and was firmly turned away and refused service. Apparently “peaches” as he is known by, is given authority to close 10mins prior to 8pm; so be aware if you have a demanding work/life schedule and are trying to do the right thing for the environment- you will be turned away. Appalling experience. I would never expect to be treated as I was by this individual here. It’s not like he unloads your recycling. I had adequate time to drop off my boxes- yet I was refused service. Horrible.

Tried to warn the guy working there that an MP3 player I was recycling was suffering thermal expansion of the battery and now he won't deal with me due to the "bomb" I turned in. I guess I'll have to keep a dangerous electronic device in my house or potentially blow up the garbage man instead, then!

Truck, number 521, Christopher and his partner I think his name is Mark went above and beyond to get all of our cardboard after a week of not being able to be picked up and took everything we had. Thank you so much.

Good place to recycle. I don't know why they have a Goodwill drop off here. I only gave it 4 stars because it needs to be enlarged.

Very user friendly, unfortunately bins are frequently full. No longer open 24 hours, signage says 8am to 8pm, not sure which days.

Half stars for aggressive weirdos hired to work at these places that jump at chance to get in your face.Do you hire former inmates or something?No offense to the workers who actually act socially unstarved and normal.But, finally tn has glass recycling!!!My god l, no wonder this state has illegal dumping in the countryside.

It can. Be busy on Sunday afternoons. Altho it wasn't too bad today. Had to wait for a parking spot. Maybe a couple of minutes. I only had plastic and paper and aluminum. They also have glass receptacle as well.

The only place I can find that accepts glass. Always clean.

This facility is for recycling only but they also do take Goodwill donations. There's a place in the back next to a little shed for those. Recycling items include glass clear, brown and green, paper, aluminum, cardboard, plastic containers, and newspapers. There is a small one way loop, enter on the right. Room for about 5-7 cars to park and unload.

I like to go take my recycling materials at off hours when it's not crowded. Either very early or very late is what works best for me.

They take glass here, so don't throw it out. Recycle it here. Clear, green, and brown glass. Plastic (NOT bags), aluminum and steel cans, cardboard, paper, and a donation center. Open 24/7.

It is a small parking lot with different large bins for separate materials. The only reason I give 4 and not 5 stars is because I forgot you need to collapse your cardboard boxes and I didn't bring a knife. But other than that's it's a clean self serve center.

Smallish recycle center with limited parking and no household garbage drop, but I must go here to recycle glass as Dutchtown no longer accepts it.

I come here weekly. The thing I love about here is that: 1) they are open 24/7 - most times no employees, just open 2) they recycle glass - which is not the case at Dutch town recycling center.

The recycling bins are clearly labeled and accessible. It would be nice to have more parking spaces.

Great place to visit, but I go late at night, as no one is usually there

A simple yet efficient little place with a well maintained little garden to sit in so you can watch others dispose of their trash. Lol

They recycle many different materials with the exceptions of: plastic bags, electronics, and possibly now batteries (for those electronic items I recommend Best Buy or possibly other centers that may take those items). Decent amount of parking spots and recycling containers, never really had an issue. I use this place quite often.

Convenient to drop off all of our moving boxes and cardboard. Very helpful attendees.
