Jan. 28 (13:50): I don't know what the associate's problem was but when trying to call the store to check if they had a part, they kept hanging up on my fiance. I called on my number, they hung up again so I called a second time and when they picked up the phone, they told me to stop. (??) I asked why did he keep hanging up and he asked me "who is this?" I asked "is this not advance auto??" thinking I might have somehow called someone's personal number. And he says it is. ?? Then why were you hanging up ??!

Need help with your battery? Look elsewhere. Advertise as being able to help with battery issue but no machine to do it. Rude employee. Useless.

I stopped to get my battery tested but the guy behind the counter was on his phone and barely acknowledged me. In his sullen personality he said I was second in line, " He was waiting for his co-worker to get out of the bathroom." So?? I think if he was a little more pleasant I would have waited but obviously he didn't care if he was there or not nor did he appear to care if they get any business. Needless to say I got the battery checked somewhere else and will purchase a battery at this rival auto parts store in the near future.

Chris was awesome! I came in looking for a new battery because Matlock told me I needed one. Chris tested my battery to make sure before I bought anything and told me the battery was fine. I’m glad I didn’t pay Matlock for a new one. Thank you Chris!

Went to get my alternator tested this morning. Don’t know much about cars but they insisted they couldn’t do it for me so I left and went O’Reillys. They tested it for me and found it was faulty so thankfully I could buy a new one at a store that works hard for their customers. Will be an oreilly customer going forward. Bye autozone. Thanks children they hired.

Purchased windshield wipers from the Middlebrook location and sales person (Keith) would not install. He stated there was lightning and he wasn’t allowed to do the installation. Yes it was raining and has rained all day but there was only a light sprinkle/drizzle at the time of my requested installation - plus no lightening whatsoever. I promptly drove to the next store on my way home (Karns, TN) where the gentleman there was very gracious and installed the wipers in about 30 seconds. Thank you sir! The Karns location will be my go to store going forward.

Got a new clerk and didn't know whether they had a card and he didn't know much of anything at all and couldn't answer any questions the response was I'm new and I don't know. He was able to ring my purchase up almost uneventful.

Each time I've been there, the guys have been very short and unfriendly. Not helpful at all. Most of the time, they didn't have what I needed, so don't waste your time with that particular location if you're looking for good customer service and parts availability. Keith was especially non helpful.

Not only was this store really well stocked and cleaned, but the staff was absolutely amazing! Jerry has the best customer service skills around! This is the store that we will always stop by when we're in this area! 😊

Tommy helped me get a new battery for my key and he was so nice and helpful! It’s very intimidating as a woman to deal with car issues but he was a genuinely nice guy that was so helpful.

Went to get my tag light bulb replaced. I couldn’t get in myself so ROBERTO was VERY HELPFUL!!!!! The lady that was in there was very nice had a great attitude and very friendly showed me the lightbulb replace the old one tried to help me put the clip back together but we had to get ROBERTO to help finish it up!!!! Great place if you need anything for your car I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GOING!!!!

They are so nice here, we got trapped in their parking lot one time and they rushed a part same day for my husband to try and fix the car, really went out of their way to try and help us. Not everywhere cares that much so props to them. They can look up parts for you to make sure it matches and are more than willing to help with any questions you may have.

Bought a new Autocraft Battery from them in December 2021 for my antique Ford truck. Had to go in on Monday, February 21st in a different vehicle than my other truck or my antique as there was a malfunction in the battery in my newer truck, a malfunction causing my truck to not want to start repeatedly and causing a draw and not even providing enough power to prime the trucks fuel pump (both trucks are Electric Fuel Injection.) Couldn't get another free replacement and had to shell out $200 for a new autocraft when the two previous batteries I was sold were undoubtedly faulty. (RIDICULOUSLY Bad Warranty if you get sold 2 faulty batteries and can't get another replacement) I will NEVER buy another car battery (Die Hard or otherwise) or accept another free replacement from you guys in the future. If this battery fails as well, I will promptly be returning it and demanding a FULL refund. I'm sorry, but 3 car Batteries in a two year period in a pair of trucks that are used for landscaping, general labor, contracting projects, which is bad enough is 2 wheel drive and needs to be reliable, also eats off my Profit. Absolutely, inexcusably ridiculous how you will sell a battery, it's faulty, give a free battery that also faulty, then tell me and others to buy another battery for $200 when the first two didn't even make it out of the warranty period with NO guarantee that battery is not out of the same batch and may not be faulty. This is robbery because I didn't even get the full use out of the batteries. And have gotten stranded in the middle of the site and had to borrow another battery😡 Bought a new battery shortly before that for my antique Ford too. Guess what? That one is also toast, it didn't even make it 3 MONTHS. The truck won't crank.😡 Very disappointed for what we've paid over $300 for new batteries in ONLY 3 Months.

My day started rough, when I was trying to get my errands done, I discovered my battery was dying and wouldn't start my car. Lucky for me I got a jump start to head to advance auto up the street. I was already prepared get the battery installed elsewhere because it sits in the back, but Roberto help me out. He use to work as a Nisan mechanic and got my new battery in my Infiniti. Thanks a lot to the team and Roberto for making my day easier.

Advance has been my go to store for car parts forever. This last transaction was very frustrating. I bought a car battery online and my teenage son stopped by to have it installed before heading to the beach for fall break. The lady at Advance couldn't find the battery. After a while another employee helped her. She then told my son that since I bought it online he could pick up the battery, but they wouldn't install it. Of course, the website says free installation. I had to cancel my order and have my son buy the battery in the store just so we could get her to install it. I realize it is hard to find good help these days, but please train your employees. I'll avoid the Cedar Bluff location in the future.

The young woman who checked me out this afternoon was very helpful and wearing a mask properly! I was nervous about going into an auto parts store because all the ones I've been to have been terrible about masks, but I really appreciated the staff having theirs on, and being so helpful.

Purchased an auto battery 11 / 23/2019 , excellent performance, discovered leaking fluid today(10/29 /2020 ). Took recipe and store manager viewed, then inspection of physical battery . Replacement and installation of new battery. Excellent service. Thank you.

Most of the time the employees are friendly & helpful. Tonight was the first time I have been in this store & NONE of the associates were willing to help me at all until I asked & when I bought windshield wipers (which I assumed would be out on for free since the HUGE window sign states that) were left on the counter & I was told to have a good night. Yes it was sprinkling a little when I went in but when walking out it was doing nothing. Sadly this type of customer service is why as a female I hate going into places like this. I feel like they think I know nothing about cars when (no I don't know as much as I could) I know enough to get myself by. I can actually change a tire along with a few other things 🙃 but they made me feel like I wasn't worth their time to help.

Gentleman was very helpful. He pointed out a product I had missed on the shelf. He also changed the batteries in my fob, found replacement bulbs for my tail light and helped update my account info. His name slips me, but I recall he drives a 70s model ford which is awesome.

This is a well stocked store with very friendly, helpful employees. Many parts stores will install batteries and wiper blades but they did it with a smile. The prices weren't bad and they had all the stuff I needed.

The staff at this location go above and beyond the needs of the clients. Even when they are extremely busy, service does not slack. They are knowledgeable , patient, and listen. They educate and explain. This store is very organized. Very good location. Easy access for parking. I observed multiple people being helped for long periods of time in very professional matters both inside and outside the store( while reading vehicles on the computer). The discounts are worth signing up for. Very thankful ,in fact, for their time and effort.

This is a great place for car parts, accessories, car cleaning and waxing supplies, etc. The employees are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend for anything for a vehicle or simply advice for any questions you may have concerning your vehicles. Definitely a thumbs up.

I was in a big hurry for a few products needed for my work. Their store had (the whole area)a power outage that knocked their system offline. I couldn’t pay cash so I needed to go to a different store. I told them if they would call the other store(on Northshore) so that my product needed was waiting on the counter I would give them a great google review! Thank you Middlebrook Pike Advanced Auto! You saved me several minutes with your phone call!

Brought my alternator in for a bench test. They tested it within 2 minutes of my arrival and showed me the results immediately afterward. Since the output voltage failed, I asked if it was the voltage regulator or the whole alternator. They said it could be the regular, but with the amount of miles on it, I might be better off replacing the entire alternator. They pulled up the replacement and ordered it for me with a handshake to call me when it arrives the next morning. Excellent customer service!

The store Manager "Martha" is an amazing individual. She went above and beyond to help me out of a really tough issue with my vehicle. She and her staff are some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable I've had the pleasure of doing business with. Consider me a customer for life.
