I have not taking my car to them yet but stopped in another shop Moore 4 less told them my car was throwing codes he immediately recommended Marshalls, I gave them a call and I can’t remember the sweet lady in the phones name but she immediately got me an appointment on Monday and pled my case to owner with me being a single pregnant mom of 3 and using my car for work that meant the absolute world to me! That right there is 5 stars in my book

Brought my truck in for a diagnosis and was told it would take them 4 to 6 weeks to rebuild my transmission and to get my truck back Got home had a funny feeling decided to check my transmission fluid and found that I had zero transmission fluid in the truck was not sure if they drained it out or what happened but a long story short after refilling the transmission fluid replacing the filter myself and just doing a complete flush I saved my own transmission I really thought this place was what it was worth for to come and find out it’s not

Transmission was rebuilt 2 months earlier than quoted, work is guaranteed for 12 months, any issues afterwords (if any) are dealt with very quickly and properly, staff are super friendly. This establishment is very professional and I wood recommend it to anyone who asks.

Absolutely the best place for any transmission work that you need done. Kim at the front desk took all my calls and questions with the utmost compassion and professionalism. Steve, the owner knows exactly what he's doing and will not try to overcharge you. I will not be taking my vehicle anywhere else now that I know they put their customers need over their own financial gain, and they treat you like you've been a customer for decades even if it's your first time!

I can't say enough good things about how great this shop is. From the front desk to the mechanics, from the first phone call to picking up my truck was a great experience. I live in Hattiesburg Ms. and my transmission went out on my 2016 Chevy Silverado 4x4 while I was visiting my mom in the hospital. It was a very stressful few days, but they made it better. As I called around for someone to work on it, other shops told me to take it to Marshall's. When I called them (last week of May) they said the next open appointment was in August. Since I lived out of town they told me they would do their best to get to it faster. They went above and beyond what they had to do and had the truck fixed the last week of June. A lot of people would have taken advantage of my situation, but they didn't. It was such a relief dealing with honest people that truly cared about me. I can't thank them enough for making a bad situation a little better. Their work is exceptional and their prices are good. I would definitely recommend this shop, but be patient, when you're that good, everyone wants to use you.

I went to Marshall's for an estimate and a little information about some work I'm looking to have done. I went on a good recommendation from a friend. They were professional and asked me plenty of questions about what it was exactly that I was using my truck for so they could build the transmission to fit my needs. Other places seem to just be ready for a standard swap or rebuild and go. Marshall's took plenty of time to make sure they knew my intended use before moving forward. I set an appointment for a later date due to them being so busy already. Good signs, to me. I am looking forward to doing more business soon. My apologies for the previous mix-up on a review about taco bell from earlier. I'm not sure how I did that.

Took my 2002 Buick Regal to Marshall's and they rebuilt my transmission and done a great job on the car wasn't very expensive either for a rebuild. Nice people 👍 👏

i have known Steve (who owns Marshall’s Transmissions) for many years. He is full of integrity and honest. He says what he means and means what he says and stands by his word. You don’t have to worry when you go there because they will prove their worth. I’m getting ready to get my transmission replaced and I would not go anywhere else. I recommend them 100%.

This establishment really knows how to help out a girl in trouble! My transmission started the dreaded “stuck won’t go to next gear” action, so limped home on a Wednesday, taking the backroads, to ensure a safe arrival. Called my local oil change/ maintenance guys, and they recommended Marshall’s right off the bat, as did two other local auto shops. Had it towed to Marshall’s on Friday, and they rushed the repair and it was ready the next Wednesday! I know they have a backlog, and they took mercy since it is my only transportation and overhauled the transmission lickety-split! I cannot recommend them enough! Kim in the office is the GOAT — compassionate, professional, caring and I thank her for pleading my case! If you need transmission work — Marshall’s Transmissions is your go-to shop! They are definitely the best in the region.

These folks are awesome! I called on a Friday during the lunch hour and left a message, and Kim was quick to get back to me when she returned; as luck would have it, they had a cancelation the following Monday, otherwise I would have had to wait until April for an appointment! The shop has a convenient weekend key drop-box, and I was able to leave it overnight on Sunday for them to look at first thing the next morning. The team was quick about performing an inspection, and after TWO test drives they weren't able to identify any issues, to which I was informed that they DON'T charge for inspections/diagnostics and that I wouldn't need to pay anything for the "service". The car was ready for pickup by 7:30AM Wednesday morning, and Kim was even friendlier in-person than on the phone. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle here for any transmission work (assuming they have appointments available)- thanks for taking care of me!!!

Absolutely top notch folks, honest service, and reasonable price! The only downside is that you have to wait. I had to wait nearly two months to get my truck in to been seen…and then it took about another 3-4 weeks before hearing anything (granted, it was when Knoxville got hit by the snow storm and they understandably got further backed up). That said, they did a fantastic job of getting my truck back up and running. Plus, the price to fix it was completely reasonable and fair. While the wait was long, I’m definitely glad I did! I can’t recommended these folks enough!

A great experience on getting the automatic transmission on my Chevrolet truck rebuilt. Steve, Kim, and Josh were great to work with. Great service, communication, and a very fair price.

I've had one vehicle's transmission rebuilt here and it lasted another 100k miles. Now, I took my second vehicle in and the owner, after having drove it 20+ miles himself, recommend I actually wait on having the transmission rebuilt. I appreciate their excellent work and forthright honesty.

We had had them do service on a few of our cars over the years and they have done great work. They also have been good to tell us when it was just a small thing when I expected it to be expensive. There aren't many honest businesses these days, so it is refreshing when you find one.

This Business has always been super Honest and trustworthy. Twice we have had a van checked for transmission. Turned out to be other issues. They did not as some places would do and do services that are not needed, however they advised as to what the issue was. Awesome group of people.

I've received nothing but the best customer service from Marshall's Transmissions. I really think they go out of their way to earn your business. They are always super friendly and helpful. I wouldn't trust my transmission to anyone else but Marshall's. They will even test drive and check you transmission fluid for free.

Transmission rebuild OK took 3 weeks. But a Ole family owned business. 100 miles in , I am happy 12 grand/months miles warranty. $2400 bucks. Other Google c9sts 3600-5600. Can't beat them.

This business was recommended by my regular auto mechanic when the automatic transmission in my truck would not go in reverse. Marshall's overhauled the transmission. I had subsequent problems with it shifting and downshifting too aggressively. Took it back to Marshall's and they serviced it under their warranty. It now works perfectly. Thank you for putting me at the front of the line and fixing it!

I highly recommend this business!!! My daughter was having trouble with her car and I live out of town. They told me they were very busy and it might take a few days. They literally had her car fixed the next day and they were very professional to deal with. I am very appreciative for all their help and their honesty!

Had my transmission repaired there a few wks ago. They told me it might take a while because they were really backed up on orders. But they had my vehicle fixed and ready in less time than they quoted and for a really reasonable price and it drives amazing thank you. Much thanks to Kim and all the hard working guys at Marshall's Transmission for a great job.

My auto mechanic does not service transmissions but their diagnostics determined I had a transmission problem. After asking around, Marshall's Transmissions was recommended to me. Although they are quite busy, they were very friendly and accommodating, diagnosed the specific problem, ordered the part, and fixed the car. I didn't feel like they did more than necessary, and the couple of other customers I ran into there seemed quite pleased with the place. I highly recommend their expertise.

Never any fun when your truck breaks down, but glad I took mine to Marshall's transmission . They kept their word (very important to me)and actually got me back on the road a month sooner than they expected. So far so good on the work,not worried though with the 12months 12k warranty. Will use them in future if I need to.

We had our 2010 Impala transmission repaired here. The car had quit moving and we had trouble just getting in the driveway after going a short distance. This was back in July 2020 and so far it has been good. They came highly recommended by Moore's Garage who I take most of our car and truck work to. Moore's is also highly recommended. Joe Moore has always done good work with fair prices.

Marshall's was great! They worked with me on payments and when they discovered another problem with the car, they only charged me for the part, not for labor. These guys are really nice. I highly recommend them.

In 2015 my transmission was shot and they rebuilt it for a very reasonable price and very timely manner. Excellent warranty, too. I've had no problems with it since, and mechanics are always shocked when they open my hood and see how great my transmission looks. I drive a 2002 corolla! Highly recommend!
