The lady in the weight scale office was friendly and helpful. Her driver license machine was not working and after several attempts she apologized and made a copy of my license. When I called for an address I told her what I wanted to bring in and she directed me to the proper location. She also said the rate was $7 a hundred weight. While she was opening my account she said they usually dealt with tons not hundred weights and their scale was not good with small weights. The shipping weight of the lawn tractor was stated as 548 lbs. They said it weighed 340 lbs. The receipt showed the rate was $5 a hundred. I really feel they have a faulty scale and changed the rate on me. I would not recommend this business to anyone. It just seemed to be shady. Even the vibe from the other two people in the office was wrong. I am sure they will not miss any business I would ever generate. It really is not the $$ involved. Sad to take advantage of a 75 year old Vet. Who else are they doing this way?
