Nice clean facility and the staff is very friendly!!!

The older black guy who works here is so rude, after you try and explain they just laugh at you. Will never return! Moved to Knoxville little over a month ago and he’s the first jerk I’ve come across!

So much nicer than the Powell location. Powell always has trash and liquids over flowing from the dumpsters. Powell location people do not follow what goes in each dumpster . They bring the whole house and I do think employees should intervene with some of the stuff they are putting in normal trash and they see it such as carpet, electronics, furniture, etc. Karns location has always been picked up, doesn’t smell bad, and I’ve never had a rude employee at either location. Karns has more room and the layout is better for where you are supposed to put the junk, carpet, wood, electronics, etc.

I can't speak for other facilities like this around Knox County but I love the open space so it doesn't feel so constrictive as compared to other sites around Knox County that I have been to.. And so far, the employees are helpful if you have large pieces to unload or at least direct you to the right spot to unload various types of waste and/or recycle. I can say the help at other sites I have been to, can come off as not as helpful. But this can also be contributed to due to just how tight and busy other locations are, so I can imagine it feels like you are always feeling cramped each day while working.

Easy access, easy to use, employees are not real friendly

The city is located near housing. Every morning as early as 430 am till they close, you can hear the trucks beeping, slaming of the canisters, and again beeping. The only break is on Wednesday and Sunday when they are close. Shame on Knoxville for allowing this place to be located near residential areas with no concern of the noise!

Super easy. Well organized and clean. Lots of room to maneuver your vehicle.

Don't ask any questions people work there , very unfriendly, people give other public servants hard time , people work here should get same attention, very rude, no help, sitting around collecting a check on tax payer,

It's a dump. And that's a good thing there's a lot of space for people to off load junk and for people to come in with more junk behind them. Much better than Dutchtown.

Nice collection center. Kept pretty neat. Large facility, plenty of room to move around.

Easy in and out . Stinks the attendant wouldn't help me lift my old cabinet.. But I managed .

I appreciate that Knoxville offers this benefit. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Love that I have a place to dispose of wood. My dad left a garage full of broken down furniture!

Had not been to this facility in a long time. Last time I was there I asked where to dispose of various items. I thought I was doing as instructed. Apparently I threw an old quilt in the wrong bin and the attendant yelled at me!! Today I also needed help as to appropriate disposal. I was a little afraid to ask. Different guy today was so nice and I’m sure he wouldn’t have to be the trash “Nazi” over a quilt!!

Since the trash service where I live only provides 1 trash can for a family of 5, I have to take most of my trash off. This location is very useful to me.

Arrived at 2:30 on a Saturday (2/15/21) and they were open, hours might be wrong.

The facility is great. Nice layout. Plenty of room. However, the people that work there are not the friendliest.

Best place for whatever you need to get rid of. Recycle your recyclables, household garbage, metal, used oil, auto batteries, building supplies. And it's very well maintained.

Excellent Facility. Well laid out, easy to drive around if you have a trailer. It is seldom busy during the week to cause a wait time. Friendly and helpful staff. Can recycle carpeting here.

This is a fantastic facility with very helpful staff. I very much appreciate having a facility like this at our disposal that is always so well kept.

Great drop-off center. They accept just about everything you can imagine (no railroad ties, though) and it's convenient.

Convenient location, helpful staff and great facility for diisposing of both recyclible and non- recyclible trash. Also, now able to accept dried latex paint, making it much easier than having to go to the downtown facility.

I generally drop off all the glass recyclables that I have accumulated over the month here. The containers are easy to access. They always have space (for recyclable items) and overall a good facility.

Far better than the old facility, convenient for local residents and the staff are courteous and knowledgeable.

Much bigger than the one on Oak Ridge Hwy was. Plenty of recycling and trash bins.

Much better facility than the itty-bitty one it replaced on Oak Ridge Hwy!
