Update: Well, it's now 22 years, and I'm still a customer of Motts. Have since got another car, Jeff is still the owner of Motts, and I and my family still go there for any and all work that needs to be done! If you want a car repair shop you can trust, go see Jeff!
Please let me tell you about Motts! I have been going there for over 14 years and I still have the same car! Yes, my car is 15 years old! Even though Skip has left and turned the business over to Jeff, they are still the best, most trustworthy car repair shop in the Poconos! I really don't understand the negative reviews posted here, there has to be something missing! They have never steered me wrong, never tell me I need anything fixed unless it's necessary and always ask me first before they fix anything! Take my advice, go to Motts before you go somewhere else, you won't be disappointed!
No longer the same service quality! We used to have them working in our car in the past and was great! Most recently we back forward the car 4 times and we had to pay the 4 times with a job that wasn’t done right from the beginning… well we spent so much money and still have problems with the car! We decided not to use their service anymore.
Jeff and his crew did a fantastic job replacing the gas tank and other repairs on my outback. Fair pricing, knowledgeable and went over and above the call of duty. Highly recommend Mott's!

Brought a Kubota radiator here to get repaired. They did an awesome job with a fast turnaround (1 week). These guys are professional and polite. I will definitely be bringing my car here next time I need service. If your looking for an HONEST repair shop, you found ‘em.
Mott's crew put my son's Forrester in great working order with a new head gasket at a very fair price. I'm glad to have been referred to them. It's great to find a mechanic you can trust.
Prices are commensurate with a small shop in high demand. Labor is $117/hr (as of 2023). Work is completed on time or faster than book estimates. You'll need to schedule at least 2 weeks in advance for any work. Full disclosure: this is my step-brother's place. If they are not equipped to perform the necessary repairs, they will recommend a place that can. A good shop for anyone near Reeders, Jackson Twp, or Tannersville.
Professional, friendly and honest mechanics are hard to come by but thankfully there's Motts. My car broke down nearby and Jeff and Jason got my car back on the road in no time. Highly reccomended!
Jeff and Jason truly saved us! We're from out of town, and Our car battery died and the tow truck our Roadside Assistance sent couldn't help. The tow truck randomly dropped us off at Mott's.
Jeff and Jason jumped right out to help us try to jump start the car. When that didn't work, they had a new battery delivered to us within minutes!
They were so professional and helpful. We're so grateful to them!! They even offered to fix our car in the future and we'll definitely make the trip back!!
Accurate estimates, professional auto repair service, best help around for fixing your car or truck. My dad went to Mott's Radiator when he wasn't able to do his own car repair. He trusted Mott's more than anyone. Now I have become a big fan of Mott's. I had struts and belts replaced, state inspections, and am more than satisfied with their quality and timely work. Since my family has been using them for minor and major car repairs for years, I super recommend Mott's Radiator to my friends and coworkers in the Poconos as well. I flew in from Colorado to purchase a used vehicle from a nearby dealership. I really wanted to have an independent automotive shop inspect the vehicle for peace of mind before I made the purchase. So glad I found this shop! Jeff and Jason took the time to go through the vehicle and make observations that gave me the confidence to go forward with my purchase. My sales rep from the dealership was with me and he also was very impressed with how personable and professional these guys are. If only they were in Colorado, I would gladly use them for repair. While visiting overnight from South Jersey, my car started acting up and quickly became dangerous to continue driving. Luckily found Mott’s nearby where Jeff and Joe went above and beyond to get us in and fix my car all in same day. They saved our trip. Great and friendly people.

THE WORST I TOOK MY VAN THERE THEY HAD IT FOR A MONTH>>>> I PAID THEM 400 they want 600 more ... I NOW NEED MORE ENGINE WORK DONE SINCE I GOT IT BACK FROM THEM ... and this problem i have NOW IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO WHAT THEY 'FIXED' !!!! after Skip left this is now not a place to bring even a hot wheel car i didn't want to give any stars but i couldn't post until i did but in my book they get nothing i will be suing them for the cost of all the repairs i had to make since they touched my van for all the problems the van has given me since and for a new engine and labor this is public notice
