My alternator died while I was driving with my child, it was after 5pm no one was answering. They picked up on the first ring. (Having a manual transmission car i was getting quoted extremely high prices.) Were able to get a tow truck to me very fast, they kept in contact with me letting me know how far away they were. Gave me a better price than other shops and i was able to get my car the next day. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, extremely professional, and answered all questions i had. Very grateful definitely recommend this place for any car troubles. I will definitely be back for my car maintenance.
Our van broke down on I-80 near the Del Water Gap on a cold Friday night in December, with our family of 5 headed toward NYC from Ohio for Christmas. Called CHC and their tow driver, Jesse, was there within 5-10 minutes, and had us hooked up and towed very quickly. Because we couldn’t all fit in the cab, the owner herself came in her personal vehicle to pick us up and bring us back to the shop. The owners stayed late while Jesse worked to get the car fixed and get us back on our way, literally saving our Christmas vacation! And they made us comfortable with snacks, coffee and hot chocolate for the teenagers while we waited (and even some special honey cough drops for one of them). Now that’s full service, and with a smile! Thank you CHC! Highly highly recommend (though I hope we won’t be back soon :))

Very friendly, my van died on I-80 late at night, had it AAA towed to CHC, they made me a priority due to being stuck at a hotel with my wife and 4 kids. Got my alternator swapped first thing the next morning and got us on our way.
I just want to take a moment and say how amazing CHC motors is. I got hit by a deer and they came immediately and towed my car to their shop. Through all of it they have been the kindest individuals with great communication. Our insurance was being awful and dragging feet, not returning phone calls and everyone at CHC was so kind and patient. Truly cannot thank them enough. I just got my car back tonight after over a month of not having it. No fault of CHC motors that the process took so long. Truly cannot recommend them enough and we know we are customers for life now. We are going to recommend them to everyone we know who needs any work done. Seriously, thank you guys at CHC, you made an incredibly stressful situation feel seamless. We are grateful for you and so happy you answered the call for our tow that night! Thank you!!
Car was broken down and they came promptly at a very reasonable price to get it towed to the shop for diagnosis and repairs! Very courteous and professional and would definitely recommend!

If I could give them 10 stars I would ! I needed my bumper replaced from a hit and run and these guys got it done for me in less than 2 days ! They also were very honest and didn't replace anything that didn't need to be replaced so my pockets are grateful ! Thank you again CHC ! I will be returning and referring !
Amazing place! Gave me reassurance and honest feedback from inspection. As a young woman it is hard to find a place that won’t try and price gouge you just to meet a quota. They got me in super fast and I didn’t have to wait around. On top of all of that they took great care of my car and were super welcoming! Will definitely be a returning customer.
I was a stranger stranded in the area. They towed me in quickly. They diagnosed the root cause of the problem that three recommended shops where I live had missed. They were like old friends and made the time waiting a joy also giving me a detailed demonstration of the actual equipment failure at fault.
I wanted to share my experience with CHC Motors and also would like to thank Chris and Tina who helped me. My wife and I broke down bringing our Daughter home from College. We are from Long Island and had no clue on who to call. Luckily we broke down in PA and only 2 miles from CHC Motors. From calling them at 5am for a tow to the shop and the friendly and courteous customer service they provided was impeccable. They originally told me they had several cars in front of mine to be fixed and would not be able to work on it until the following day however, they called me that afternoon to inform me it was ready for pick up. Although I had made it back to the island and had to wait for a good day for me to go back to pick it up, they worked with my schedule and even offered to open up early so I could pick up my car. We ended with them leaving it outside with the keys waiting for me. I just feel extremely lucky that when I broke down, they were only 2 miles away. I doubt I would have had this great of an experience with any other company. If you are ever in need of a great mechanic shop and are in PA (Stroudsburg area) do yourself a favor and call them!!! Great people, great workmanship and as far as prices... I'm sorry folks, nothing is cheap these days and I would over pay for quality any day. I do not feel I overpaid with CHC but I know I got the quality!!! Thank you to all at CHC for your prompt, courteous and professional help! I would give 10 stars but 5 is the max.

These guys are absolutely fantastic. I had taken my car in for an inspection at another mechanic a few days earlier when it all of a sudden started sounding like a lawn mower. Knowing my exhaust was messed up and having to be at work in a couple of hours, I brought it here. These guys took me in right away, told me exactly what was wrong and what they were going to do, and were incredible with their price. I won’t be going anywhere else - thank you all!
I’d like to start by saying I’m not the type to leave reviews, but this was too horrible of an experience for me to let anyone else go through it. The original tow truck driver could not get my car out so he called another one. I was told I was being charged extra because another truck had to come that I did not request. After I see my receipt the worker told me that the $150 that says for storage was not for storage and that it was for brigning the extra tow truck out. I found this weird, being that the receipt said storage but I let it go. So I call a bit after I called and left a review and they said that it was for storage, even though my car did not stay overnight even a day.
All in all, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!Very bad business, not upfront with pricing, extremely rude to customers, I told the worker that I’d just like to get a better understanding of the situation and he was short fused, he sweared and yelled multiple times. ANYONE LOOKING FOR A SMOOTH EXPERIENCE ID AVOID, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I tried and was blatantly ignored by the worker as soon as he saw me. I tried to communicate and be cordial about this, but you guys are extremely unprofessional and immature. It’s hard to have a two way grown up conversation when I’m the only mature grown up in the room.
Where should I begin, I’ll start with I had a the greatest experience dealing with Chris, Tina and their team. I went all over and NO ONE could figure out what was wrong with my car but Chris wouldn’t stop until they found the problem. Thank you for all you did and getting me back on the road. . Safe, clean, professional environment and most importantly very reasonably priced, Tina really worked with me 🙏. I found my mechanic, thanks again guys…
Had my car in here to get door replaced. This shop did a magnificent job on my car. The staff is very courteous and kind. They do excellent work and they are so respectful to their customers. Would highly recommend this place
Had my car completely die .5 miles into jersey on 80. They were at my car within 30 mins and got me towed to their shop. They replaced my alternator and helped us find a rental car place nearby so we could still get to NYC. Went back that night to get my car, and its good as new. Thank you so much for saving us and our trip. 🥰
Great service, professional, and friendly. We had broken down on a busy road and our AAA request was going to take over 3 hours to get to us. We called CHC Motors and they came within 25 minutes. Delivered our car to Mavis and was awesome with recommendations for finding a good restaurant. He was a great guy!
CHC Motors fixed my car after I hit a deer 1/19/21. They probably know this car meant the absolute world to me by the amount of times I called them to get an update lol. They are really quick, professional, and kind. The car looks like nothing ever happened. They also deep cleaned my car which was honestly a lovely surprise! I recommend them 100%. Thank you again!
