Friend of mine needed an engine. Their page said it worked with no issues. But they would only pull it once we paid over $1k for it. Paid it. Then those choose to turn the car over and realized it was smoking and actually didn’t work. And then gave us a big hassle getting our money back. They should have tested it completely before trying to sell it!

Gave me less for a complete car claiming it had an aftermarket catalytic converter, it was welded on down pipe cause it broke so it would pass inspection when we were still driving it on the road, so because it was welded they claimed it was aftermarket but it was in fact the original cat. Was my first time going there, my buddy recommended them, I'm sticking with RPM in Wind Gap.
Don't waste your time with these guys. Offer top dollar take a day off from work and then the driver offers you 150 bucks because I guess they think that people are morons?
Had an old 07 chevy that I needed gone from sitting in the yard that past 2 years. Just didn't want to say goodbye to it. Mike made it extremely easy and fast! Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to recycle their old cars.

ALpha was the agent for Peddle, missed agreed pick up time by almost 2 hours, then the guy says the cat is not original all i can pay you is $100. Peddle made no mention of state of cat required. Total waste of time.
Letting the car go was a lot harder than the actual process. Alpha showed up exactly when they said and I got the the exact amount I was quoted by peddle. So. Super convenient and super easy. Thank you alpha.

Since when did they change the rule that you can only bring in a 100 dollars worth of burnt copper??? Went all the way there just to be told I had to much and I would have to split it up and come back at another time just to cash it in? What a joke
Alpha recycling gave me the best experience possible! I had just totaled my car and it had been dropped off at my drive way, I don’t have a lot of space in my drive and needed it out quick. Thanks to filip and his crew I was able to get a great deal on the car and it was out of my driveway in no time with no issues.
These guys are crooks. I had a Honda Accord that I wanted to scrap because the catalytic converter was stolen off of it. I used Peddle to get a quote on the car. They quoted me $520, even after filling out a questionnaire stating that the car no longer had the catalytic converter. Peddle then set me up with a local scrapyard. My unfortunate luck brought me to Alpha Recycling. Alpha was timely and showed up with the flat bed, however, once they arrived they acted dumbfounded that the car did not have the catalytic converter and stated that, due to this, they are only willing to offer me $150 cash. I was given some sob story about how they only make $50 off a scrap car. Yeah right. I understand a little wiggle room between quote price and actuality, but a $370 difference, come on. Did I have to take the offer, no. However, I had already rearranged my work schedule and I needed the car gone. A+ to Peddle who I contacted about my experience and sent me a check for another $100.
I got there at 430 unloaded all the garbage metal had my wire , aluminum , and copper I got on the scale at 5pm to get ready to finish and they closed the scale ...I HAVE BEEN G0ING TO JFR FOR YEARS..WHAT THEY SO IS NOT TAKE NEW CUSTOMERS AFTER 415 CUS THE CLOSE AT 430 not let them unload half and basicly say screw you and the rest of your stuff cus u can't wait 5-10 minutes #JFRFORTHEWIN
Dropped off my rotted bed was out of there in 2 minutes. Thanks guys, gonna have to knock it down a star sadly. Wanted to scrap my popup camper here, but they wouldn't take it with just the registration even though it's junk when one of the gentlemen I asked ahead of time didn't mention to say I need to have the title to scrap it. We lost the title as its an old popup, but still a good scrapyard. Just very frustrating because I left my trailer there as well with the camper on it for a weekend and was hoping they'd give me a break as long as I found some documentation on the camper. I had to do a lot of driving around waisting diesel which isn't cheap.
Very convenient location, employees I dealt with were helpful and professional. Very clean and modern yard. I didn't shop around to see how their prices compared to others but there's really nobody else near town so I guess it doesn't matter ?
