I recently had some work done at CIP. The owner, Joe, was professional, courteous, fair, transparent, and willing to accommodate my schedule. I called at 5 PM to schedule some work and he got me in the next day and despite finding some other issues to be fixed (during an inspection), he committed to returning my car to me by the end of the day for a long drive I had ahead.

So far I have had nothing but great experiences, from their services. Joe and the staff are great and the techs are excellent as well. Great work on my Audi.

I needed work done on my Jeep. Drivetrain issue and a crack in the radiator. Outside of these guys being prompt about working on my vehicle, I would say their best quality is their communication!!! They didn’t skip a call or text (with pictures) to get my permission on working on something or telling me about things that may need attention. Transparency is key to a good Auto Shop and they more than met my expectations. Will definitely be returning to get more things done in the future!!!

Team are extremely courteous and friendly. Provide great customer service and are good with communicating updates however had two major services done. 1) engine block replaced took 6 weeks and shortly after 2) fuel injectors replaced which took another 6 weeks to complete. Living out here and needing my vehicle to get around put us in such a bind. Couldn’t afford to rent another car for that long and the second repair was not be covered under warranty…. This is my only issue at this time.

Went for an inspection on a car i thought was good to go .i was wrong they pointed out safety issues with ball joints and uni bearing that I wouldn’t notice until vehicle was on a lift.so I had them fix it.parts are cheap but labor is expensive but it is a lot of work to fix so understandable.jeep rides nicer now so will continue business with them.

Before I even went to the place, Joe the man I talked to on the phone was very friendly very welcoming and didn’t miss a beat, helped me figure out the best course of action and Greg even took me into the shop and showed me what exactly was up with my car , where , n how to go about fixing it. Very detailed and even fixed my front bumper for me. Been looking for a good mechanic since I moved to PA last year and these guys are the best around

I’m so grateful for the amazing service at CIP! They went above and beyond, staying late to complete my car inspection and replace my brakes and rotors. Went in for a low boost turbo issue. I tried to diagnose it thinking it was a vacuum issue only to find out it was as simple as a blown fuse. They had it diagnosed and fixed in less than 2 hrs. They only charged me for the diagnosis. Will be going back to get my windows tinted. Highly recommend to others!

Mechanic Greg did a great job on my recent oil change for my antique vehicle. He communicates well and kept me informed with recommendations and is very attentive to details. C.I.P. also changed my window regulator earlier this year. The whole team is friendly and courteous from scheduling appointments to check out. I Wish I could have used my military discount for the oil change.

wouldn’t recommend this place chris was very rude and inpatient over the phone. if i could give 0 stars i would. I wasn’t satisfy with the service that was being given because it was being prolonged for a whole week (paid in full a week before i brought my car) so i decided to ask chris for a refund for the labor that was never done so i can go about my business and he told me no in a nasty manor, told me that i was “pissing him off” smh. Their work looks decent but think twice before coming here. Chris lacks customer service. I take very good care of my cars and would like for excellent service in every aspect. I know what it takes to own a business and have great customer service. i was always told growing up if a person doesn’t respect you , what makes think they will respect the things you love and care for, and if your a minority like myself i definitely would not recommend. They’re money hungry and will try to get over on you. (edit) notice he didn’t deny being disrespectful over the phone saying “your pissing me off”

My son was a first-time customer at this business and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. He paid upfront and in full for work on his car, and Chris told him they were waiting for parts to arrive. After a full week, no work had been done, and my son had to rely on Ubers just to get to and from work. When my son called to request a refund so he could take his car elsewhere, Chris became hostile and began yelling at him over the phone. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Chris told my son he would not receive a refund and would only be offered store credit. This is unacceptable customer service. My son is a young man working hard in the medical field, and he goes out of his way to support local businesses and build relationships with trustworthy mechanics. He was shocked by how disrespectfully he was treated, sharing that no one had ever spoken to him that way before. What makes this even more concerning is that this experience felt dismissive and discriminatory. Chris’s behavior showed a lack of respect and value for my son as a customer and as a young Black man. We teach our children to work hard, handle matters the right way, and support their community, but it’s clear that this business does not hold those same values. No one should be treated this way—especially after paying in advance for services never rendered. Respect goes both ways. If a business cannot treat its customers fairly, honestly, and with basic human decency, then it does not deserve their support. And my son still didn't receive his money back. So they basically stole his money and didn't provide the service. His car was left parked in the same spot he left it. Lesson learned: We will never spend our hard-earned money here again, and I strongly urge others to take their business somewhere that values and respects its customers.

I have had the best experience at CIP because after almost three years of not knowing what the heck was wrong with my car, and multiple diagnostic fees and repairs that fixed one thing temporarily, but not everything, the main issue was pinpointed and fixed when I brought it to this shop. I am ecstatic!!! So much money has been put into this car trying to figure out why it was acting like it needed an exorcist. Although I had a good experience in Allentown, even the BMW dealership didn’t give me a clue as to what the main issue was while inspecting the car for a recall repair. It possibly would have been found after a heft diagnostic fee and repair charge, which I could no longer afford. CIP also has reasonable fees for the work that they do. The car has been out of order for so long, that having it work properly felt odd and like something was wrong. It’s the small victories that matter, but this is huge for me. My car has left me stranded multiple times, in some unimaginable places, and with high anxiety, which should not be a thing when it comes to your transportation. I keep this car well maintained, so it was such a mystery as to why it kept shutting down on me. Also, Francisco is a great listener, and he fully heard me out before responding, the very first day that I called to explain the issues. That does not happen very often. (I have dealt with some great mechanics but I understand that BMW is complicated and people are busy) Joe, is an amazing human being. Another great listener and very kind and empathetic with me and my situation. These two have such good energy and deserve recognition for that. I was kept updated on the work and given a detailed follow up with paperwork on what was done, and what needed to be done. I don’t know what else to say but I have such high praises for them. Although I have never met the mechanics/technicians, thank you for your expertise, time, and energy. I appreciate you as well. Last but not least, thank you to Chris, the owner. I met him briefly, but he was helpful and provided a thorough explanation regarding a body repair for my car. Thank you so much! 💛

The mechanics, They get it done.... Chris, the owner, his Attitude stinks. I've taken other cars there and was satisfied, but this last time put a bad taste in my mouth. Who screams at customers because they can't pay their staff? How is that my fault chris? I had high hopes for this shop because of previous work but if you cant be respectful and reasonable its time to move on. Edit: You must have me confused with someone else, Because I never refused to pay you, I think your shop does great work. And as a small business owner myself, I understand the pressure you're under, but if I spoke to my customers the way you spoke to me I'd be out of business in a month. Im still willing to work with you in the future because I have no complaints about the work, but there is NEVER a time you should yell at a customer, let alone a customer who has paid. I've paid for every job I have asked you to do, every single one. I hope things improve for you because the place has so much potential. The most important lesson I have learned as an owner is, if you treat your customers well, they will treat you well in return and hopefully tell everyone how great your shop is. Its hard to find an honest trustworthy shop who actually does the work you pay for and doesn't gouge you on price. I was hoping c.i.p was going to be "MYGo2" . I have another car i need looked at soon.. I'll see how things go. * make sure you have the work done when you say you will not two days after expecting the person to magically make the bank open at 5 pm. No wonder your employees keep quitting

I needed brakes done for an Audi and we don’t have many choices locally for foreign cars. I drove past CIP and saw a few other foreign vehicles in front of the service doors so I decided to go inside and inquire. They do Service all foreign and domestic vehicles and I had them do a brake job and trans flush. They did an amazing job and kept in touch with me through the process. Their prices were fair and the service was excellent. I will be going back to them from now on with both of my cars.

I recently had my state inspection and oil change done on both of my cars at Custom Import Performance, and as always, the service was excellent. I’ve been coming here for a while and continue to refer friends and family because I truly trust them. They’re honest, reliable, and always take the time to explain what’s going on with your vehicle. It’s hard to find a shop you can depend on—these guys are the real deal!

My wife and I have been bringing our vehicles to CIP for decades, from our off-roading Jeep to our current Durango and Challenger. They truly do it all and you can always trust it’ll get done right the first time and for a fair price. They are one of the few shops I never hesitate in highly recommending to any of our family and friends.

I haven’t been here to get any vehicles serviced, but I plan on it. I just live 2 hours away but it’s in my bookmarks. Forgot who I spoke to about a year about regarding performance upgrades for my suspension (coils) and they sounded damn knowledgeable. Never rose their voice. Never yelled. I see a lot of garbage negative posts and I’m sure a FEW of them happened without a doubt, but seeing as most of the negative reviewers only have 1-9 reviews, I would say they’re fake, unreliable, never happened, are done by competitors, or are made by people that think their car runs worse but turns out they already had those issues and are untrustworthy of mechanics and are now looking more into the issues after getting their car fixed. It happens more than you think. All in all, reading the reviews and responses from the owner has honestly motivated me to get going to Stroudsburg real soon. This guy sounds like a funny guy. Finally, an owner that doesn’t sound like a robot. I like this guy. He’ll make you feel human and will actually educate you, he isn’t trying to make you feel dumb. Don’t listen to the clowns with 1-9 reviews. Give these guys a call before showing up. Talking about your car and what you want makes everything a million times easier. Also, how much is an undercoating for a 2021 Mazda 3 hatchback?

Very reliable service and honest approach to things. They keep you informed of the progress on the vehicle as needed if any changes occur, and they stand behind their work. Been going there for several years and have never been disappointed. The two guys at the front counter are also fantastic, knowledgeable, and definitely make you feel welcomed. Highly recommended

Made an appointment to get a downpipe on my 25' elantra N Line and was gotten in maybe a few days later at most. They were even fine when I kept randomly adding things to the work order and were very accomidating and communicated any questions immediately. Completed everything somehow in a single day and gave me a super fair rate. Genuinly greatful my first real experience getting work at a garage was so pleasent. Really looking forward to the next round of mods! Thank you guys.

Had new tires mounted, balanced and a wheel alignment done. Reached out to Monica to schedule and she was super accommodating and easy to deal with. I waited in the waiting area while my truck was being worked on. Pricing is definitely competitive and I’ll be back. Highly recommended this small business for your repair needs!

After looking for a shop near me to help me with my 6 cars, I finally found a place that is quick, hasn't tried to milk me for more and more money, and has been straightforward and honest. I go through a lot of tires, and they have done a great job at mounting many tires for me (all low profile performance tires). They offer full collision repair, painting, rust fixing, mechanical work, window tinting, custom exhausts and performance assignments. If you need a shop that's hard-working and honest, give Chris a call. They also have methanol and race 100 octane fuel
