Even though we couldn’t duplicate the noises (of course, right?), he still tracked down the issue and repaired it at a VERY reasonable cost. This is now my go-to auto repair shop. Very pleased with the PRP undercoating done on my 2025 4Runner. Walt did the work himself with attention to detail and thoroughness, fogging the interior of the frame, doors, etc. I also needed an inspection and day-of when we realized emissions testing was needed, they made it happen for me despite not doing emissions themselves.

Had my vehicle there twice for issues ranging from coolant leak to inspection and rattling noises and I have yet to be disappointed. They're honest and timely and will most certainly receive my business from now on. If you're looking for a reliable honest mechanic Walt's is the place to go.

Walt's Auto & Electrical Repair is amazing. We tried to find out what was wrong with my Toyota Rav4 for months, replacing parts. Walt found the problem same day. Mice ate the wires in the hood. Walt is fast, honest & doesn't over charge you like most mechanics. He makes his money by earning it! He's got my business forever!

Brought my truck into this auto shop to get some help to change my battery and these guys helped me out right away, super fast and without charging me an exorbitant amount of money. It is so so hard nowadays to find genuinely honest and kind people and these guys are it. Highly highly recommend and will absolutely be coming back again!!

I brought my 07 Honda CRV to Walt's Auto & Electrical Repair because it was slowly overheating and was quoted around $800 for them to fix it, to which I agreed. However, when the car was ready Deb called me and delivered some great news. She said, "Hi Alldin, your car is ready, and you don't have to pay $800 because the part was still under warranty. We did work on your car last time to replace the part, so your new total is $400." Wow, just wow! In a time when most people are having a hard time keeping up with their bills, it's truly heartening to know that honest people and absolutely great mechanics still exist. Appreciating Honesty and Great Service This experience at Walt's Auto & Electrical Repair has solidified my trust in them. Not only did they fix my car efficiently and effectively, but they also went above and beyond in terms of honesty and customer service. I cannot say enough about how fantastic Walt’s is for all auto repairs. Family owned and operated, this team takes pride in providing excellent service. They gave me success with my Tahoe where two other mechanics failed. And they did diagnostics that literally were life saving on brakes! If you want platinum service, don’t hesitate to call Walt’s!

Paid almost 4K for a car that was diagnosed twice to be repaired for it to stop working the next day I get it. Excuse after excuse had it over a month wife debbie said they’re waiting for a machine Walt say's they got the wrong part 3 times just disappointed. Money hungry. Even their front counter guy said Debbie over charges for parts and materials . Never again will I ever recommend anybody to this place. He knew there was a problem with the fuel pump fuse and needed to make a bypass for it. Never did it even when he legit had to jump the fuse box to turn the car on in-front of my eyes. Then when I tell him the car doesn’t work the next day I got it he says he thinks the fuel pump is bad and might need to replaced. Fixed the dam issue for $48 from a HONEST mechanic shop. Who clearly knows more about electric than him. They took my money and played me like a fool. Several dealerships advise against them. And after showing multiple of them the bill they all agreed I over paid. Didn’t want to make this review I use to trust them now I realize they never cared just wanted the money. And if they respond trying to say anything was my fault who had the car for a month ? Not me.

How much do you value honesty and integrity? Rarely found in businesses today. This is what you receive when you have work done at Walts. I was a referral to Walts previously and was apprehensive the first time however after my first experience with Walts I will always go there for any automotive work. You will not regret it. go

Hands down best service around honest and extremely talented for hear on it will be only place I will be calling.... update I've been going to Walt and Deb since my first experience I can't tell you how many times they have literally saved my butt from the price to the willingness to move schedule to accommodate and in some cases I've watch that man stay after hours just to get me back on the road so my business can continue to serve its customers and honor my obligations. Very pleased with their service by replacing the bent blade in my lawn mower with a brand new one. When I did not know that the shop for the mowers was moved to the new location at Third Street, they were willing to take my lawn mower to the new location for me. They did not have to do this, but they did. Very nice of them. (Next time, I will remember to go to the new location.)

Update: I now have a different car, and the windshield wipers became bent in the snow storm last week. Walt was able to replace and attach them on the spot. Extremely affordable and great customer service. This is my second time at Walt’s Auto and Electrical Repair and I will certainly be back should I need any other repairs to my car. Went in to get my car fixed, and Jason gave advised me that the car was not safe to drive, essentially unfixable, and not to sink any money into it. Afterwards, he ran a Carfax for free on a used car I was looking at and gave me his professional opinion. Even though my car was not fixable, I am incredibly happy with the customer service and I highly recommend Walt’s Auto Repair. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Walt and his staff were up front and honest right from the start and throughout my service! It's also refreshing to be treated equally! They listened to me and discussed plans and options. There weren't any insolent staff members, now that was really nice. They went above and beyond to help. I can honestly say I feel very fortunate to have found them! Walt’s Auto is the best shop around!!! Walt will get to the bottom of any issue your vehicle may have. He’s a master mind when it comes to any problem. He’s very professional, understanding, down to earth, easy to talk to (actually listens to you unlike most shops) and does what he can to help his customers. When you call Walt’s you’ll speak to Jason or Deb. They make you feel like family and a hoot to talk to. They explain things so you actually understand what is wrong or being done to your vehicle. I went into Walt's repair shop yesterday seeking help with my stuck sunroof. It was completely jammed after several attempts to close it on my own had failed. It was a random stop at his location, but what a worthwhile stop it turned out to be. Not only did Walt fix my sunroof he was kind enough not to charge me for the service, even after insisting to pay him something. Not only does Walt's Auto... earn 5 stars for service Walt and his wife, Debbie earn five stars for being amazing human beings. I will never forget their kindness. I came into Walt's Auto & Electric for issues with my Honda Pilot that another auto shop couldn't figure out or repair. I have to say that I was really impressed when I received a call the following morning after dropping the car off the night before. Walt's is the real deal had the Honda repaired (No VTM-4 or VSA codes on the dash)the day after I dropped it off. Very professional and the cost of repair was very fair and reasonable. (I thought this would cost me a lot more). I will definitely use Walt's again and will be recommending them to all my friends. Thanks guys

I am so happy to have found Walt's Auto & Electric. Their automotive expertise is extensive but they make it easy to understand for anyone who comes to them for work. Their customer service is second to none, Walt Deb and Jim, their mechanic went out of their way to help me out when I needed an emergency repair shortly after the recent snowstorm. They ordered the part they felt I needed and had it ready when I came in. When Walt looked at it, he discovered all it needed was a tightening. He did that and I was out in 10 minutes. They didn't just change the part when it wasn't needed. There was another situation when I had a issue with an making an appointment due to my work schedule, Jim came in on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule and make sure I had my oil changed. They are honest, they will tell you the truth, good or bad and let you decide how to proceed. They checked my fluids during the oil change and found that my coolant was very low. I haven't had a mechanic do that before. That saved me from getting stuck in this weather. I will recommend them to anyone. Call them and talk to Deb to set up an appointment. And, they are certified "women friendly".

The workmanship is beyond good, they obviously care about your car.Their affordable in pricing and I would recommend anyone. I have a high end German car, & I went to Walt's for the first time. They were very informative about what they would do, & the timeline for the repair. Their price was the most reasonable (=inexpensive) I’ve ever experienced, far cheaper than the New York (& PA) prices I’ve been used to over the years. Honest & straight-forward, they answered all my questions, & did a great job with the car. I’ll definitely be going back to them in the future.

After being misdiagnosed by 2 different shops and with the check engine light still coming back on, a friend recommended I take my 2011 Honda CRV to Walt's shop. Upon extensive troubleshooting he found a pin hole in my fuel tank. He replaced the tank and I was finally able to pass inspection. The price for all the work was reasonable and I am planning to bring my car back for any future maintenance. Walt is honest, friendly and has great troubleshooting skills. I highly recommend him!

Brought my car into Walt’s when my daytime running lights, headlights and fog lights all suddenly stopped working! Debbie and Walt (owner’s/operators) were extremely friendly, knowledgeable.and explained in detail what the issue was (which wasn’t as simple as the fuses or relays). Got my car back the same day and the experience was one of the best I had!! Super trustworthy business that cares enough to make sure they’ve done their best to get you back on the road as quickly and efficiently as possible..

Took my 2016 Silverado Crew Cab to Walt's Auto for a protective undercoating and I have to say, what a pleasure it was to deal with someone so knowledgeable and honest. I've been to many auto shops and have dealt with a lot of techs, and the time Walt took to explain to me what my options are, the pro's and con's to the different types of applications I was interested in, and show me(in detail) what he was going to do to my truck, was far from ordinary. He gave me the family care treatment, which i feel like is a lost form of customer service. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends! Thanks Walt!
