Chris and Rita were amazing. Extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and easy to get in touch with on the phone. Went in for a second opinion, quote was prepared very quickly. Unfortunately, was not in a great situation and didn’t make sense to fix my car. Chris gave me plenty of time to figure out my other options. Very nice local shop, will be going back. Recommended.
Took my son’s car in without really knowing what the issue was—he described the problem, but I hadn’t experienced it myself. The shop did a free diagnostic check and kept me updated frequently and appropriately throughout the process. Prices were fair, and I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. Excellent experience and service.
These guys are the best around! Everyone here is super friendly and honest, they kept me updated about my car and were able to fix it for me quickly. Strongly recommend if you are in the area, turns out they do more than just transmissions too!!

I am so pleased with this Aamco shop. Rita and Chris always make time to get my car in right away to be checked out. Rita calls me to tell me what they found and what it will cost before they do the work. If there is something my car should have done that is a bit pricey they will let me know if it can be put off for a little while so I can get the funds together. The first time I took my car in, I was on crutches. When my car was done, Shaun, the owner pulled my car around right up to the curb for me! Now that’s service! They really care about their customers. I highly recommend this Aamco. They treat you like family.
They were great! It wasn’t clear what the problem was at first and they kept trying to find which took hours of test driving. They didn’t give up and only started work once it was clear how to solve the problem. Other shops did work and told me the same problem was addressed only for it to come back.
Brought a vehicle for a transmission related issue. Looked at first before any work for quote. Btw they say they’ll call you back never do then have you wait 10 before close to tell me about my vehicle and this insane price. They quoted $600 for something simple and was not nearly as time consuming as they claim. Quoted for a 3-4 hour job. I’m mechanically inclined and I installed this trans myself but I ran out time with work or I would’ve just simply done it. $100 at a different local shop don’t go to these places like aamco that are only in it for the money. Highway robbery at its finest. It was hilarious to hear the quote and how “long” it would take them to do said job.

I can not express enough how thankful I am for Chris and his entire team including Rita. I needed a new transmission , and they handled everything from start to finish with such courtesy and professionalism. They diagnosed my car , worked with my warranty company , ordered and installed the new transmission all within 2 weeks ! I was so shocked with how fast they completed everything. They handled all the paperwork and calls with the warranty company . They kept me updated every step of the way and provided excellent customer service. It’s so difficult to find honest, trust worthy , professional mechanics . I will forever be a customer !

This AAMCO location has wonderful customer service. The manager Chris was very kind and helpful. He went above and beyond of my expectations. The mechanics have over 25 years of experience which is reassuring. They're one of the best in the Poconos.
Rita is so so friendly and very professional. They worked super hard and fast and efficiently on my SUV and their prices are wonderful.They save me from having to get a Transmisson ,I had a Great experience & will be back! Highly recommend.

Gotta give this place a round of applause! I had to get my ac condenser fixed and they gotta it done fast, effective and right. Everyone there is so nice and will great you. Also, the consistent communication between the customer and the mechanic is really good. I never had to worry about my vehicle in their hands at all. I would truly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place that will get the job done right. 10/10
My family has been coming to this AAMCO location for the last 8 years for any of our automotive needs. Rita is always friendly and courteous at the desk. And Shawn has always been straight forward and very fair with pricing. Anytime I come in with a car issue. I know for a fact I'll leave with my car fixed properly, without feeling ripped off. They really go above and beyond for customer service. The entire staff is amazing. And in my mind the best mechanic shop in the area. I recommend anyone with a car issue to come in, it's definitely worth it.
