What clients say about Twin Boroughs Recycling Center in East Stroudsburg (PA)
Completely miss my house on occasion, refuse to answer or call back, been calling for multiple weeks now. On top of that they refuse to pickup my cardboard even though I break it down and tie it up exactly how they ask. Do your damn job, what the people of this town pay you to do.
Not only are we doing extra steps like separating 3 types of glass and breaking down and tying up cardboard, you guys refuse to take my bins if some of the college kids pass by and throw trash in my recycling, Which happens more often than you would think.
Terrible company, should be replaced
Forced to recycle or the borough tries to take the landlord to court yet every pick-up day new rules get made up despite contradicting info posted on the website. Pick up the damn recycling, there IS NOT a rule about separating materials in this borough. Being disabled and living on the second floor means I would not be able to conceivably adhere to it regardless; it's been picked up that way before, tell your staff to not be so lazy!! It all goes in the truck mixed, WE HEAR IT!
TWICE IN A ROW!!! THERE IS NO RULE TO SEPARATE PER THE ORDINANCE. TAKE THE RECYCLING.
You guys need to clean up your place this place is disgusting and let people know when you're going to be closed on a Tuesday we've been there twice and you were closed
Convenient and easy to get too, but I would like to know when construction will be done. When done with the recycling I would like to be abe to go home instead of going around to get to East Brown St.
Super rude can’t even ask a question. Not everyone knows answers. If I knew it was just recycling I wouldn’t have gone. Hope you guys like the trash I left for you. Give you something to do besides standing around.
Gentlemen I ran into when I went to drop off a bunch of boxes was extremely nice and professional and even offered to help me unload my truck load. He was so kind. The space is large and easy to figure out. It is unfortunate that they don’t take plastic anymore.
I went to recycling center today and received this notice:
TWIN BOROUGHS RECYCLING CENTER
Due to the excessive amount of non-recyclable
material (GARBAGE) being dumped into our plastic cages, we will no longer be accepting plastic at our drop off.
The Twin Borough Recycling Center is operated by the Boroughs of East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg and is here as a courtesy for residents who wish to deposit their recyclable material. The Boroughs are NOT required to provide a recycling drop off.
If people continue to place trash at the drop off, we will be forced to close the gate permanently. Thank you
