Kindly improve on parking lot by repainting the worn out ( n pot holed ) markings. I've also addressed the issue about ladies at check out . Some of them r very disrespectful to ' some ' customers, n very sweet to others.. The manager ( nice guy ) needs to talk to these staff ( especially the regular lady that starts @ 10 am, mostly on weekdays..) We all pay the same.. Last Friday, I had to insist that she puts my laptop bag ( in trash bag) which she has declined.. This past Tuesday, she tried to put two big towels n a hand towel in a ' thank you ' bag.. It couldn't fit.. To mngr - kindly remind your staff that customers- regardless of what they think about them, pay their bills hence shoul b treated equally. I've been observing this for years. I wouldn't like to cause a scene ✌?

50% off days are useless for anything good ??? overpriced and no good selections ???

I witnessed an older woman that worked in Prime Thrift remove all clothing items with a yellow tag from the racks and place them in a shopping cart. I suspect yellow was a color that was going to be discounted soon. I watched her fill the shopping cart to the very top and then go to the back of the store. I always suspected thrift stores did this but it’s very disturbing to witness. What’s so hard about giving an honest discount to customers that support your business?

Such a great assortment and the staff were all very lovely and kind. Glad I stopped by!!

Highly unprofessional. I was told the store was closed 3 minutes from closing. All I needed was to go in, grab and pay for a Xbox game cd. Was told the registers were shut down when there were customers inside.

The store is located in a great location on Richmond hwy alex va and sometimes u will find nice stuff ...but there is a manager that works there that is very heavy on his price on things .and once you hit that door you will be watched by him on a camera and also he will come on the floor to look at eveyone .if he can see people on the Cameron in his office why do he need to come on the floor watching and be careful because he will call the police department secretly from his office .all of a sudden you will see a cop across the street watching the thift store ,I use to go there a lot but since he came i rarely ....he has nothing better to do with his life but to come all this far from maryland to show up at a theift store job 7 days a week . But if he ever call the cop assuming you are stealing call his boss to report this guy .he seem like hes some type of military person..be careful of them. . otherwise its a ok place . people are not there stealing .there is nothing in the store worth stealing.....there is another place thats located on ....that has practically new things and its a nice place to shop. Satisfaction gareentee.

Pros: • A TON of stuff. You could spend a long time in here if you wanted to go through everything. • They worked out a deal for me with something that didn’t have a price tag. Cons: • PRICES. We saw fun-run ad T-shirts upwards of $8. I think the reason why there’s so much stuff is because it must be hard to move it all with it being priced so high. • The handwritten price tags are a bit hard to read at times • The racks that you have to reach up high and shuffle through clothes can be tiring after a while.

Attention Moms! As a mom to young children, I frequent this store often. Recently, we came in when the store had just opened and there were only a few customers. My children were playing with some toys and doing a fairly good job keeping the aisle open, as I often remind them to do so. Unfortunately, the manager got on the loud speaker and said: "the mother of the three babies needs to make sure her children do not clutter the toy area to prevent falls." If it was a problem, I think a private comment could have been made, but this turned into a public humiliation that was unwarranted and unnecessary. Not the way you treat your main consumers (Moms). Do better, a prime thrift!

Prices are a bit high for a thrift store and the manager who was on duty on Saturday May 24th(I didn’t get his name) was rude and unprofessional. I asked a question and he gave a very sarcastic reply as loud as he could. I guess he thought he was funny and needed an audience. No one laughed but instead shook their heads at his rude response.

If I could give 0 I would. Customer service and sales were bullshit. I was with my son and wife and had to check a diaper bag in but women were walking around with bags and purses bigger than my diaper bag. Save yourself time and money from these stores with annoying double standards.

SAVE YOUR WALLET & YOUR PEACE. I pride myself on thrifting across the USA because we’re a military family. I have to say this is probably the worst thrift store prices & customer service I’ve ever encountered. The lady who checked us out was an elderly lady whose name on the receipt was Victoria. She was probably the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. She was incredibly rude and was huffing, puffing and rolling her eyes at me while scanning my items like I was such a HUGE inconvenience for her. She also made it seem like the worse thing in the world when I asked for a military discount that is so clearly shown behind the checkout. Not only did I feel disrespected but I felt bamboozled with the prices on “which she didn’t even total in the military discount to my purchases BTW” but $6 for a USED baby pajamas? I literally left with tears in my eyes from the horrible service. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND go to WALMART across the street and get the same thing 2/$11 brand new!! Prices of baby pajamas will be in the pictures below. MILITARY FAMILIES BEWARE!

Prime time has great merchandise and a lot of it. The staff is very helpful. It is also quite clean considering the amount of foot traffic it has. It's conveniently located, being immediately off Richmond Hwy. There is a different sale every day of the week. Some thrift shops put on the floor all the items they receive, so buyers need to thoroughly examine merchandise. I have never found the need to do this with purchases from Prime Time. Lastly, the profits help the veterans, who protect us.

Great finds at this store. However, the staff is not friendly at all. The older African lady cashier (I’m also black and not trying to be xenaphobic at all, simply need to describe her and don’t know her name) is one of the most unfriendly people I have ever encountered in my life. I’ve been to this location a dozen times and each time, her attitude is the same. She fusses at you to remove the hangers from the clothes before you get to the register in a very rude manner. She is very clearly annoyed when you aren’t moving fast enough for her or you “inconvenience” her. One time my debit card didn’t work (which i actually believe was a problem on her end because I had sufficient funds in the account per my banking app) and instead of saying “I’m sorry but your card didn’t go through” or “do you have another form of payment” she got very irritated and told me with an attitude that my card didn’t work as if I HAD DONE SOMETHING TO HER. I work in retail as well so I know first hand how relieved customers are when they interact with a sales associate/cashier who is pleasant, or at a bare minimum isn’t grumpy. Despite what’s going on in your personal life, it is immature and unprofessional to take that out on people you don’t know, especially at your place of work. I’m sure other shoppers know exactly who I’m talking about solely based on my description of her attitude and they probably agree with me as well.

Stumbled upon this cool thrift store after visiting Geroge Washingtons Mount Vernon. I walked away with 4 shirts for less than $10. All great quality! They had a huge selection of furniture, household goods, shoes and clothing. Check them out, you might find some treasures! Happy Journeys ✌️

I appreciate the changes made. Excellent staff working, a very organized and clean place. Clothing, shoes, handbags from good brands, beautiful jewelry, and a variety of household items. It definitely makes my favorite place again.

Don't waste your time! You WON'T find anything Here! The store has certain regular customers shop in the donation/pricing area rather than the sales floor. These are usually book (and sometimes electronics/game) resellers. They come on weekday mornings and don't have regular day jobs. They are preferred customers that work deals with the corrupt managers/employees. I know upper management and the owners only care about profits, but it's gotta so out of hand. Every time anything decent comes along, its part of a full cart belonging to one of those customers. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! Either announce/have signs that say customers can shop in the donation/production area in the back or NO ONE is allowed back there. PERIOD. There used to be an issue with people stealing from donations carts (since they're at the front on the store), but employees put the carts back faster. Also, prices have gone up recently, but thats true for all thrift (and retail) stores.

3.7 stars overall…yet 5 stars for customer service and the chair purchase. I had to dock off a star due to some difficulties and the prices. I found the perfect item - an old antique rocking chair with wear and tear. It had a big crack and minor repair issues so they reduced the price to $22. We were able to fix the cracks and noticed several repairs on the chair. I thought the price was fair, since we had to do repair work on it. The prices on items at this thrift shop were high to me, yet I did enjoy walking through the store. I didn't find anything useful to buy. Customer service was very good, and the sales clerk lowered the price of the chair after my husband pointed out flaws. I liked their display of jewelry. Parking can get difficult. A car parked too close to use - making it impossible for my husband to open his car door to get inside. He is average height and size. We almost got hit by a car trying to get out of the parking lot. Despite the problems It is worth a go see.

Not a great selection of items and only two fitting rooms with a line that takes forever because there’s no enforcement of the “5 item limit” policy. If you are hoping for housewares, don’t shop here. They write the prices on the glass and items (I included photos). The marker doesn’t appear to rub off.

I used to love this store but since it came Prime it’s changed. The racks are so jammed it’s hard to see the clothing. So many employees putting out merchandise the aisles are blocked. Checkout people are busy chatting with each other in Spanish it’s hard to get their attention. Prices have increased as well.

I got this beautiful, long, flowy mint-green blouse from Prime Thrift for less than $5! But to make it even better, I had rewards points from being a frequent shopper, and got it FOR $0.28!!!! Its already one of my favorite pieces! And did I mention how clean, and well lit the store is? And how great of a selection they have, from clothes, to household knick-knacks, to electronics!!! It's like searching for gold, and always finding it!!!

I really like this thrift store itself, just not most of the staff. The selection of items and the prices are very affordable and comfortable. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the staff. Most of the people who work the floor are so rude, almost to the point of seeming hostile. I'm not sure if it's a cultural difference since most of the women seem to be immigrants, or what, but pushing past people without saying excuse me has happened quite often on multiple trips. There is only one woman who works there who has a sense of customer service and hospitality. She is very kind and friendly. I'm not even expecting a greeting, and I never ask for help, but an "excuse me" when you are pushing past me in an aisle would be nice, especially at times like these when people are still social distancing. It's very off putting. I'd hate to stop going because this is the best thrift shop I've found in the area.

Always lots of people and looks like lots of donations all the time. I have left lots and lots of stuff there myself. But the thing that gets me is the dumpsters in the back. They throw away lots and lots of stuff. I think their decisions on what is salable and what is not is not great. But the turnover of merchandise is what makes it a worthwhile stop on the thrift store circuit. It is not super organized and not super clean. Wear your mask.

Before the virus, if you had the time and the inclination, you could find pretty good things here. Now that we are in the throes of a world changing experience, not many changes have occurred here. There is no cleaner for cart use, no aisle directional flow, no sanitizer upon entry into the store (doors have to be pulled open to enter) and the spacing between rows remained the same. The only changes are that the dressing rooms are no longer available, spacing marks are indicated for checkout, and plexiglass is at the cashier. And the parking lot was pretty gross. Lots of trash scattered about, even a dead, crushed bird! I stepped through with caution and carefully placed steps. The best aspects were the associates - they are still the same (relatively friendly) and it wasn't crowded. So if you are looking for something in particular, it might be worth the effort, but I wouldn't stay long, especially without a personal bottle of sanitizer.

I have mixed feelings about this store. Most of the clothing is relatively inexpensive. Sometimes you can find some hidden gems. The furniture is over priced for the most part. Some things are not, but most are. They have 3 colors half priced on sundays which is my favorite day to go. Most of the staff is nice but 1 of the managers isn't. I won't call him out, but my dad is a vet and one of the cashiers was having trouble figuring out how to give him his discount so she called the manager who helped her but said this would be the last time bc my dad is not retired military, but a vet and didn't get a discount. The other manager, also a vet, is super nice and said that they do in fact give discounts to vets ( it is also posted). But the ladies that work there are really nice. So check it out if you are in the area. You might find something worthwhile.

Pros: great prices & great selection Cons: the place is not very clean, the womens athletics section is too limited & the red crayon they use to mark prices on some shoes/accessories is almost impossible to remove so if you're reselling make sure the crayon markings are on a spot that's easy to remove. Why i gave 5 stars: I've found some gems here and the fair prices are what gets me to keep coming back.

Great location with it's own parking lot adjacent to Walmart Superstore. They now have dressing rooms which improve shopping options. Items are color coordinated and sizes are now sectioned. There are more designer options, furniture, shoes, men's clothing and misc. Prices are not bad, with a little searching there are bargains.

Large thrift store, with plenty of parking, and a wide variety of clothing and household goods. I especially like their children's clothing - good selection and very reasonable prices. They have discounts for seniors and military.

I will give this store a 5 star because they have great deals. I can buy Levi's for $10 and be in great shape. Most of my clothes come from here. They are very fashionable and not your typical clashy thrift store fashions. Recently they had Matchbox cars that were collectibles. This store is a gem. Plus the employees are very friendly and professional.

Better than your average thrift store, but not the best I've seen. Prices are good. This is a popular thrift store, so the selection does rotate well. Price tags are varying colors and there is a color of the week that receives 50% off. Military discount is 25% off but cannot be combined with other discounts. No food allowed in store.
