This shop is my go to parts store. Today, Destiny provided excellent service. She new where my part was on the shelf has a very nice attitude, and after my purchase she offered me some deal flyers and member benefits to save on future purchasesI Old school service from a young person Refreshing. Carlos and Gregory at Advance Auto Parts Store #09043 on Franconia Road were extremely helpful. They quickly helped me find and exchange the correct fuses and got my vehicle running again. Great customer service — clear, professional, and efficient.

I placed an online order to pick up from the store, their app says it’s ready for pickup. I drove 30 minutes to get here and they says it’s cancelled. I haven’t received any call or email regarding the cancellation. It’s okay if it’s cancelled but at least let me know about it. Wasted my time

I walked in a with a brake issue, unsure of exactly what parts I needed for my rotors and the job ahead. Thanks to Jerry’s knowledge and Manager Carlos’s help, I quickly got all the right parts at an affordable price. I was in and out in no time!

Much thanks to destiny! Although it was short staffed, she was able to rise to the occasion and help out with my battery. After the diagnosis’s, we found the the starter and alternator to be bad. Thank you !

I came in for a new license plate holder, and I really had no idea what I was looking for and was not aware there were so many options dependent on your vehicle. I quickly realized this task would be much more intuitive than I anticipated. . . . However Carlos the Store Manager went over and beyond to help me select the items and he helped me install it outside. It’s noteworthy that we had to go through a couple options since I have a foreign car and the drill holes are not placed in the same location on the body of the car like most US cars. Now let’s move to the weather, it was 23 degrees outside and snow flurries were falling, Carlos had no hesitation ensuring I got straight in the harsh elements! I also had a tired and hangry toddler that was over sitting if it wasn’t for Carlos I would probably still be struggling to install the license plate holder still. All I can say is Carlos and AAP gained a lifetime customer out of me kudos! It’s a good thing when you still find people that care and will genuinely help out and not just tell you it’s on aisle 4. I have mixed reviews about this place because it’s like a jelly bean bowl sometimes you get very terrible employees (there’s one that they rotate from this store to another one in the area, once we see him, we automatically turn around and go to another location because he is awful) but I wanted to highlight one of your employees who was working tonight and the other young man who was there tonight as well. I only got the name of Cyrus, who went above and beyond to look up a transaction I made and he could’ve dismissed me after he didn’t find it the first two times but he took his time to look it up and found it, although this didn’t fix my car , it was enough to make a bad day when your car breaks down into a better day. Give these guys the best reference when they go out to find new jobs , it’s difficult to find young people actually do their jobs well especially working a tough job in retail environment.

I bought my car battery at the Advanced Auto Parts store in Rose Hill a year ago, and the staff was awesome; they even helped me install it. After a year, my battery started dying. I found out that the clamps holding it down were missing, likely because a mechanic forgot to put them back. On Saturday, while near the Advanced Auto Parts in Annandale, my boyfriend and I took the battery there around 7:30 PM and asked if they could charge it. The manager was really nice and told us to leave the battery, assuring me that I didn’t need to leave my name or phone number. I even asked him if he was sure, and he said yes, they would remember it. The next day, when I went to pick up my battery, the staff had no idea where it was. The manager mentioned a loaner manager who had helped me the day before and that he wasn’t answering. He even speculated that it might have been stolen, which left me feeling hopeless. They couldn’t offer any assistance, and I was basically out of luck. I then called the Rose Hill location today and spoke with Carlos, the manager. He was shocked to hear about my experience and offered to take care of the problem by giving me a new battery. I was incredibly thankful for his help, as I didn’t want to pay another $200 for a new battery after mine was misplaced at the other location. Carlos’s excellent customer service truly saved the day, and I highly recommend the Rose Hill store!

Their employees are more concerned with huddling in groups instead helping 2 customers. Customers shouldn’t have to get your attention to help and employees ought to be grateful there are jobs instead to Amazon replacing their stores footprint.

DO NOT buy car batteries from this place for two reasons 1) the batteries (Die Hard) suck. Even the expensive ones. I had two Hie Hard Platunim ($270) batteries crap out on me in the span of two years, one of them in only a month! 2) the store manager here will LIE TO YOU about their warranty/exchange policy. In 2022 I bought the original DHP battery and in May of 2024, I couldn't start my vehicle. No power to the dashboard, locks, nothing. Got a battery test and jump from AAA. Battery was dead and had extremely low CCAs. AAA advised me to replace it. Went to AAP to have the battery exchanged and that went without issue (except the fact that AAP will NOT install this battery in your vehicle for you like any other battery they sell). Then in June of 2024 (one month later) same issue. No power to anything, car won't even attempt to click or turn over. Got a battery test and jump from AAA and they said the same (low charge, low CCAs, recommend replacing). At this point, I took my car to a shop to make sure it wasn't an issue with my starter or alternator. They confirmed both were working fine. They also retested my battery AGAIN. Low charge, low CCAs. I went back to Advance Auto Parts and explained the morning I'd had, showed them the results for the TWO battery tests and asked to have the battery exchanged. The worker that helped me also ran a battery test and confirmed that the charge was low, the alternator was fine, BUT that the CCAs had increased. The store manager took this to mean that the battery was fine and tried to tell me there was nothing he could do. I re-explained that the car wouldn't start without a jump and showed him the two bad battery tests and he claimed that 1) they can't trust other battery testing equipment because theirs was "top of the line" 🙄 and 2) AAP battery warranty policy won't allow him to exchange a battery more than once, even if it is still within the warranty period. He claimed repeatedly that there was nothing he could do to replace the obviously bad battery I was given. I went home and called Advance Auto Parts customer service. They were able to help me submit a full refund for the battery and also confirmed that their policy DOES NOT state that batteries can only be replaced once within a warranty period. So to recap, don't buy car batteries from here. They will sell you shitty batteries and then this store manager will hang you out to dry when they fail.

👍🏼 This store takes used oil. You need to go inside the store and they’ll tell you where put your oil. They also have paper nearby the oil storage tank for you to wipe off your spillage if any. Buy some stuff for your auto needs while you’re there to help keep this store opening.. 👍🏼

I remember this place being a 1-2 star location not long ago. And all of a sudden 4 stars? Seems fishy Anyway, bad experience today, employee had a very accusatory attitude about me returning an item that I told him I DID NOT USE. After he processed my refund for $7 he told me he won’t be accepting anymore returns from me, I’m blacklisted from making returns to advanced auto 😂 what a joke

Odir helped me replace my battery (and by help, I mean he did it!). The interaction was friendly and easy. He cleaned up my connections and everything. I’m glad I stopped at such a helpful location.

From my Yelp Review: Needed a new battery for my Nissan Pathfinder and Mr. Ordonez went out of his way to recommend a battery and even install it. What seemed easy at first - turned into a 30 min install job dealing with rusty bolts and corrosion. He had a positive attitude and the entire team was more than helpful. A++

Jaxson was a HUGE help tonight! He was leaving work and stopped to help me pick out and put my windshield wipers on! He was already clocked off and did me such a big favor and helped me with his knowledge! I greatly appreciate his help will be back for the customer service! 😊

Visited Advanced Auto Parts in Rose Hill because I needed new windshield wipers. I wasn’t sure what size wipers I needed so I asked Jaxson for help. He looked up the right size, went over my options, explained the features of the different options and even installed my windshield wipers. Made the experience very easy. 10/10 recommend this store.

Gregory and the staff of Advance were very helpful and knowledgeable. I had an issue with my vehicle and found Gregory very detail oriented. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I am not from the area and was very hesitant to ask for help. I felt very comfortable with the recommendations Gregory made. I found my new local auto parts store!

I went today with my friend to get the correct oil filter because they sold him the wrong one, which resulted in dumping all 5 qts of new oil onto the shop floor. I asked the worker if she could refund or do a damaged swap for the correct filter and she said "no, because it's used." Her attitude and lack of customer service was uncalled for considering they were the reason my buddy bought the wrong part. He will no longer go to Advance Auto and go to AutoZone instead. If anyone deals with this female worker, I hope you don't waste your time and go to a different auto parts store.

My husband rarely drives his car due to covid so his battery keeps dying and we weren't sure if it was mostly dead. I took the car to this location and our service rep, Leslie, not only let me know the battery was still good but saw that we still have 2 years left on the warranty if we need to replace it. I was thankful for the transparency and great customer service. Will definitely return due to this positive experience!

When I first walked in I thought a customer was the employee ...after asking if he worked there I realized where the customer service gentlemen was. He was extremely helpful with my questions about my power steering in a car that im driving. I'm not your average woman. I hunt, fish and will get knee deep on a farm....I want to thank the employee there for helping a girl out... My wheel problem is fixed...looks as though my phone tracked my needs perfectly with my fancy world wide web metro phone I got from around the corner next to the vets sunny place... Stop on there...you get reward points for tracking your pets!!!! Rose Hill...you are one if a kind. Thank goodness for the kind (in a round about way) dog playgrounds and owners...Whoof.

This location is a hit or miss most of the time. Sometimes when you go the staff is super friendly and helpful and other times they are slow and unapproachable. The last time I went there was right as they opened and there were 2 employees, one was ringing up a customer who had 3 million questions, and the other one was standing there just looking at the register. All I needed to buy were 2 quarts of oil. Super simple and fast transaction. But after standing in line for almost 5 minutes listening to the extra inquisitive chatty Cathy ahead of me, who wasn't stopping any time soon and not being helped by the other employee who wasn't doing anything I could tell, I put the oil back and went elsewhere.

Today was my third time visiting this store, and unfortunately I won't return. I rather go to Napa or other store. My experience was awful, and the person who helped me did not represent what this company stands for. The cashier or helper was unfriendly. He was rude when I was being a nice customer. He failed to assist me to find what I needed. Thanks to this rude employee, my day became blue, and I won't visit or recommend this store to my friends. I believe Advance Auto Parts can do better than this!
