I’m a homeowner that came in needing a bunch of different shapes and lengths of mild steel for a custom project. Ivan gave me some great options and within 10 minutes he was already custom cutting my pieces for me while I waited. Awesome experience!

Service is Great, with a vast inventory. They are my first call. Ivan is very knowledgeable and very professional. Very competitive prices aswell.

I ordered different sizes of 1/8” Diamonds sheets, they took my order with my right dimensions and made it fast, and they have an excellent customer service

Excellent inventory and prices. Ivan knows all about the metals and was eager to provide excellent service. The place was tidy and organized. All Metals Supermarkets have a scrap section where they sell the short sections of beams/extrusions left over from materials they have previously cut to length for other customers - my favorite area since I normally need only small quantities. This one seems to deliberately add precut lengths of new stock for commonly needed materials to the scrap section. I bought six 4’ lengths of thin walled square hot rolled steel extrusions - just what I needed - and was given a discount that seemed to keep getting better as I added more materials to the shopping cart. I had a great experience, and I’ll be back for more. Thanks!

My online order with custom cuts was completed in just 2 days. Pickup from the Alexandria branch was super quick and easy. I was in and out of the branch in about 5 minutes.

Great quality scraps at good prices

Metal SuperMarkets for the win! I’m a concrete contractor that had been on an already tight schedule when we encountered an issue with delivery through another vendor. In a time crunch, the Alexandria store was able to come through on super short notice and not only have the metals I needed, but all cut & packaged for me when I went for pick up. Everything I ordered had been cut to size & allowed us to pass inspection. We will definitely be using again in the future!

Need a piece of aluminum sheet to create some interiors parts for my classic car. I visit Metal Super Market and Ivan Pujols was very helpful in let me know the aluminum sheet available and the thickness. Also, made recommendation of the sheet that was better for my application and work perfect for my application. I will recommend the store to my friends and I will be buying the metal for my next project in the Alexandria store.

This place is amazing! They have everything that you could want for a metal project, and they will cut the pieces for you. I was honestly blown away.

Probably the best metal store in the Metro DC area. Well-organized, lots of selection of metal stock, sheet metal, multiple gauges, well-lit, clean. I'm not a skilled metal-worker, but I met Ivan there, who was incredibly helpful, and helped me walk through every step of my project, and let me take my time sorting through all the various options in the warehouse. They also have a metal-cutting machine, which can accurately cut strips as thin as 0.5". As of January they did not have a sheet metal bender, but Ivan said they were in the process of getting one.

Large inventory and helpful staff

Came by Metal Supermarkets to look for a piece of steel to modify my truck’s front bumper. Ivan was super helpful and helped me find the most affordable solution for my project. Even better, Ivan helped carry my order out to my vehicle. Great service, prices, and selection. Will be back!

Fast and reliable.

I needed a flat stainless bar because I needed to build a stand for my client. I usually work with the Beltsville location because they are always fast and flawless and can get you whatever you need perfectly within a couple of hours. I live in northern Virginia so I decided to use this location, and it was a mistake. Now I have no problem with the employee that helped me as he did his job fine and helped me all the way, but first I was told 2 days ago that it would be ready for me by Thursday or Friday, and I told my client and he was fine with it. Then I recently got a call saying it won't be ready for me until NEXT WEEK. I understand that my business isn't their problem, but I can't change dates on a client constantly. I had to cancel the order to avoid that problem. The extra 30 minute commute to the Beltsville location is worth it because I know I can trust them. So if you have weeks to wait I'm sure this would be OK, but if you're looking to get fast and reliable service I recommend the Beltsville location as they are faster and seemingly more productive.

Short review as my full one won't show. Half the staff has no idea errata going on, can't tell me anything, doesn't follow through, and doesn't tell you when the order is delayed repeatedly. Go anywhere else but here!
