The service here is excellent. They fixed my Genesis GV80 dashboard perfectly under warranty. Other Genesis dealer near my house told me to take it to a body shop because it wasn't covered under warranty. Incidentally, my Genesis has 1,000 miles on it. I love Tony, Saurabh, and the rest of the team at this dealership. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They were very transparent in pricing. They also helped me find the right model for me—no one tried to convince me to get something more expensive than we wanted or needed. The dealership itself is very calming and easy to navigate. I’ve never been to a dealership that felt as comfortable. And, over a month later, we are still obsessed with our new GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige. I highly recommend Genesis of Alexandria for a professional, friendly, no-pressure dealership experience. My wife and I bought a 2026 GV70 2.5L Sport Prestige in mid-November 2025 during a Genesis special financing event. We did some research online (trim levels, options, accessories, warranty, incentives, invoice and target pricing) prior to hitting local dealerships and had narrowed our options to the GV70 and BMW X3 for our needs. With almost 1,500 miles now on the GV, including out of state road trips, can say we Love the GV70 – great balance of comfort/luxury and performance. Lots of customizable tech/drive modes come standard and some features can be turned off if you prefer not to use them (e.g., auto start-stop). Very strong warranty. Not the best MPG. Dealership experience: We initially spoke with Sohrob (sales) and he answered our questions including the differences between the “Advanced” trim and the “Sport Prestige” (SP) trim for both the 2.5 liter turbo 4 cylinder and the 3.5 liter twin turbo 6 cylinder (there are feature differences between the two powertrains even at the same SP trim level (e.g., no remote move forward/back parking assistance on the 2.5L). We wanted to see a 2.5L GV70 SP in the Makalua Gray exterior/black interior color combo. While not on hand, one was in transit and due to arrive in days. I was contacted two days later and made an appointment (recommended) to test drive that car. As the dealership is located near a busy neighborhood where you can’t drive at speed, I asked to test it on the highway. We showed up and that sportier trim level and color combo was eye catching. Sohrob gave us the key and we went for a drive through the neighborhood and on the highway/95. We were impressed with the look inside and out, the well-equipped standard features, and the ride handling. It was fun to drive and the 300 hp 2.5L was enough pep for us. We returned and took a break for lunch to discuss the pros and cons of the GV70 and X3 and made the decision to get the GV70 if the price was right. We engaged in price negotiation with Tony, the General Manager. We really appreciated Tony’s transparent, no pressure, straight-forward style. With our data points from internet research and prior discussion with another dealership, we arrived at a competitive price point and qualified for both competitor/conquest/loyalty and military incentives from the manufacturer. Anthony (finance) had the paperwork ready for us and he explained the options and answered our questions. Great job all around by the Genesis of Alexandria team! We had a pleasurable purchase experience and Tony was happy to help us set-up many of the features (phone app, driver profiles, automation, customizable buttons, etc.). Aside: If you don’t want the front license plate mounted on the grill, ask about options.

My Genesis SUV is a dream come true! I had a great experience with everyone at Genesis of Alexandria. The general manager Tony and his team were knowledgeable, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. At no point did I feel like anyone was trying to up-sell me or take advantage of me. My boundaries and preferences were respected. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who's in the market for a new or used car.

I really wanted the excellent experience that everyone else seems to have received. However, the experience when purchasing a preowned vehicle seems to be different than purchasing new. The sales person (SOHRAB) was not pushy, but not attentive either. There were things that I was told or read online that didn’t happen or simply wasn’t true. (price match/beat didn’t happen, carfax stated that powertrain remained it doesn’t, my trade in was never even looked at, only given one key, and promised that the vehicle would pass MD state inspection, it doesn’t) I loved the vehicle and decided to still go forward with the purchase. These items are not major things, however I was expecting full transparency. The finance person did negotiate a small reduction, however if I would have known that I would have to put more money in for MD inspection and modifications to pass I probably would’ve done something different. Especially since I’ve already paid the taxes, and title fees. I haven’t received promised videos or any communication at all since driving off the lot. I blame myself for expecting more from a car dealership. Buyers please come fully informed especially if you don’t live in Va and are buying preowned.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I cannot stress that enough. From the moment I walked in (without an appointment) to the moment that I drove off of the lot in my new Genesis, the customer service, honesty, transparency, and general helpfulness was top notch. .Mr Mike M. was my sales manager and he kept me laughing while also making sure I was very informed about each vehicle that I was interested in. He was super patient with me because I kept changing my mind and asking a ton of questions that he sincerely answered each time. Mr Anthony was my finance manager and he caught a huge price jump due to my request to register in another state and he saved me more money. Finally, Mr. Tony....the owner...he came by multiple times to check on my process, made sure that the extra fees were removed and explained to me ways to assist with my requests as an out of towner. He also made sure I ate as he ordered his staff lunch from an amazing Mediterranean restaurant that I am mad I cannot remember the name or what that entree was called. Mr Tony, if you see this, can you please remind me the name of both so I can get whatever you gave me please? If you are looking for great and honest sales people, go here! At no point did I ever feel pressured, left without answers, or disregarded in any manner. Also, I want to give praise to the nice men working in the back detailing the vehicles and assisting with things. I watched them while I was waiting or making coffee and they all were smiling, seem laid back and happy. I hate that I did not get your names, but I did pay attention and to see people look this content with being at work on NYE goes to show that this is a great place. Purchased a GV70 at this location. All the staff were professional, attentive and sincere. Extra appreciation for the staff for following me to return my rental car to provide me a lift back to the establishment in their loaner Genesis. Felt respected and cared for thorough in and throughout. Branch manager giving me a follow up call a day after for congratulation and asking for honest feedback was memorable. I do have a dealership much nearby, but Alexandria were unmatched for price negotiations, discounts, transparency and overall experience. Shout out to Shah and Tony. They have my highest recommendation.

Salesman Jay is very knowledgeable concerning the GV70. He is very courteous and patient. The sales manager Abe was very informative and willing to answer all questions with patience. Buying a car can be fraught with confusion, frustration and irritation. It has been said that it is not for the faint of heart or mind. Generally, I steel myself when I enter a showroom ready to do battle with a salesperson. So, it was with the usual apprehension that my wife and I entered the Genesis of Alexandria (VA) showroom and asked to speak with the General Manager, Tony Ramazani. I needn't have worried. Instead, I was happily surprised and delighted by Tony's thoughtful, gracious and helpful attitude. We chatted for a half hour before the word "car" entered the conversation and, when it did it, was my wife who broached the subject. We had come on a Saturday (a busy day for car dealerships) to look at interior colors. We had no intention of buying a new car. We love our 2021 GV80. Our plan was to have a peek, ask a few questions, go to lunch and drive into D.C. to see friends for the night. Happily, it didn't work out that way. We looked at several cars housed in a parking garage a five minute drive from the showroom. The dealership is in downtown Alexandria and has little room for inventory. For some, this will be an inconvenience. I understand that. However, in light of the overwhelming kindness and thoughtfulness of Tony and his staff (Tony bought us lunch while we waited for paperwork to be completed), it was hardly a hardship. We left that afternoon, having traded in our car, with a new GV80 Coupe. Painless..... except for the new car loan which, I might add, was made less painful by a very agreeable interest rate. So, if you're in the market for a new Genesis, run don't walk to Genesis of Alexandria. You will be treated with respect and kindness..... and a favorable deal.

Spectacular experience from all the staff here at Genesis of Alexandria! I would like to first start by thanking Jay, for his patience and hard work in getting me my Genesis G80 Prestige Black Model vehicle. I think I saw and interacted with him most, since my birthday back in August, up until now, finally purchasing the car in November! Tony, the GM, there’s something special about this guy: he really cares, and makes the car-buying experience a wonderful one. Mike was also very helpful and even took time out of his day to call me after I took a long road trip with the new car to ensure me and my family made it back safely! Anthony went over the finance and legal documents with me and explained things very carefully. I appreciate him. And Saroub helped teach me how to navigate and maneuver my new vehicle. He was very helpful as well!

He helped me to an extent even my original dealership failed . I purchased a new 2026 Genesis GV70 last Wednesday and encountered a minor fault message on the dashboard the next morning. When I brought the car back, Tony, the General Manager, immediately offered to replace it with a brand-new identical vehicle. The entire process felt seamless and efficient — as if I was buying my first car again, but this time with even more care and attention. They even added a few extra accessories! I understand the issue wasn’t the dealership’s fault but rather the manufacturer’s, yet the way they handled the situation showed world-class customer service. NOTE: This is a Service Department review only. My GV80 spent nearly 2 months at the dealership with AC repair. After taking first month to repair the heater, it took almost another full month for them to repair the cooling system, which worked perfectly fine before the heater repair. That included having to replace internal wood grain trim that was damaged during the first repair. Overall - terrible experience. In 30+ years owning all sorts of vehicles, getting my GV80 (which I love) repaired was by far the worst. The service manager was very polite and easy to talk to, but he never followed up on his promises to call and give an update. It's up to you to keep calling or texting in order to find out what's happening. I also found it disturbing that they will park your car on the very busy Vernon Avenue and leave it there for days on end. There is a lot more to my bizarre experience with the Genesis of Alexandria service department, but in short: you may get lucky, or you may not. Just set your expectations accordingly. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, because of the polite and friendly demeanor of my service manager during this 2 months long ordeal.
