Once again Van Dorn Auto comes through! Leo was nice enough to wait for the tow truck to arrive with my car even though it was closing time. Repair was made quickly and I had my car back the next day. I highly recommend Van Dorn Auto!

Staff are professional and knowledgeable. Most important is they have integrity.; they are will tell you the truth about your car and look for the most economical way to get it fixed. Also will work with insurance company to get you exactly what you need

I don’t advise anyone to ever take your car to this place for repairs. They told my extended warranty company they did work on my car and ran the bill up to 5 thousand dollar to find out no of it was done. I don’t know how they have a rating of 4.9

My air suspension light illuminated first intermittently and later steadily. Utilizing his repair savvy and following the logic tree, the technician quickly diagnosed the problem to a weak/failing air suspension system pump and a faulty valve block. Luckily the parts were on hand and quickly delivered. Both, the valve block and pump were removed and replaced and the system reprogrammed. After a brief test drive I was on my way home. Because my first visit to the tap air shop was so pleasant I chose to remain in the customer wait room and like before I enthusiastically engaged in laughter and gained general automotive knowledge. I’m in no hurry to go back, (due to costs of repair parts), but when required will do so! I highly recommend having your car checked and serviced at the Van Dorn Auto Shop. Great service; Van Dorn Auto Repair also gave me an honest assessment of my brakes after my dealership initially said they needed replacement.

I recently moved to South Carolina and when I returned to the area my tire pressure sensors needed to be replaced. I visited the local dealer but my son contacted Van Dorn Auto . I was very impressed with the quality of their service.

My wrangler has never had heat. Was really trying to avoid having to replace my heater core. Leo did a heater core flush and I now have heat just in time for winter. Great service. Honest and quick turnaround

Simple job and they had my car back to me before i could sit down good. Good Marine man by the name of Doug took care of me up front. Pricing was fair and when i asked for transparency it was cleanly explained. Will be back for future repairs.

So far so good… brought car in after check engine light came on and told a repair was needed that I had previously had completed at another shop twice! Van Dorn repaired it, and so far there hasn’t been a repeat of the problem…. Fortunately Van Dorn warrantees their work for 2 years and I’m grateful. Hopefully they put this problem to rest.

Very rude customer service. They charged me $20 for a state inspection and claimed my brakes weren't good, even though I had just replaced the brakes and rotors before coming in. I drove to a different shop the same day and passed inspection with no problem. The only person who was nice was the cashier. Dishonest and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend Van Dorn Auto Service to anyone.

OMG!!! What can I say about this auto repair shop?!?! This business provides top-notch white glove services! I prefer to take my vehicle to the dealership, however, the service is not good and they’re always presenting me with a list of items my vehicle needs, but NOT Van Dorn Auto. They are very thorough and honest about what’s needed and what’s not Major. I am grateful for these honest and integral men! My car drives so much better after I leave them… which gives me a lot of comfort and ease! Thanks VDAR - May God bless your business exponentially.

We had a fantastic experience with the folks at Van Dorn. We were traveling from out of state and needed help with our brakes. They worked us into their schedule immediately, were kind and caring, and delivered quality work at a fair price. We could have easily been viewed as targets to take advantage of, but instead were treated like family. Highly recommend!

We began having trouble with our back brakes while on vacation from Indiana. Fearing couldn't make it home, we began researching local garages. We chose Van Dorn based on their Google Reviews and were not disappointed. We dropped our Highlander off at 9:00 am and the job was finished by 2:30 with four new sets of brakes, rotors, and pads. We had only intended to fix the back brakes but they gave us the option of doing the whole job, and the price was so fair that we opted to do it all at once. The owner/mechanics were friendly, fair, honest, and communicated well. They turned a vulnerable situation into a best case of a worst case scenario. Would highly recommend!!!

The folks here were better than great. Before I was recommended to Van Dorn Auto, I had a terrible experience with a big dealership repair center. The guys at Van Dorn Auto fixed every issue, gave me realistic price estimates & accurate time estimates. Honest businessmen are hard to come across but these guys are the real deal!

The work done was great, I had the car at 2 other shops and they could never find the main issue with suspension but the team at Van Dorn Auto did and fixed it reasonably and time efficient. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and kept me informed all the time. Thank you all my family is so happy and safe now to travel!!!

Went in for a routine oil change and they reached out about additional work needed on the car. I told them it would take time to handle everything else and they were very understanding. However the more pleasant surprise was them replacing the battery in my key fob! I didn’t mention it to them and I have been manual locking and unlocking my car brace I figure it couldn’t be fixed because last I replaced the battery it just died. They fixed it free of charge and it was a pleasant surprise.

Van Dorn Auto is one of those businesses that does the job they are supposed to do. Doing a great job and offering great service is not hard, it’s a choice. They are fast with repairs and reliable. I run my own woodworking and contracting business so service and client experience mean everything to me. As long as they keep doing what they do I will be a lifetime customer. Thanks Van Dorn Auto!

I recently took my vehicle in for an alignment and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. After the service, I noticed the alignment still felt off, so I called the shop to follow up. That’s when I was told that the technician wasn’t able to complete the adjustment on the front left side due to not having the proper equipment. What’s frustrating is that this wasn’t communicated to me at the time of service—I was led to believe the job was completed. I had to reach out myself just to find out it wasn’t done properly. I would have appreciated more transparency upfront and a clearer explanation of what was or wasn’t completed. I understand that equipment limitations can happen, but clear communication and customer trust should be a top priority. Hopefully, this can be improved for future customers. Otherwise, the customer service was great and staff were professional to deal with. I would go back but make sure to check the work before leaving.

Van Dorn auto repair is my go-to place. The prices are fair and they don't try to up-sell on needless things. In my years of.going here I have found them to be honest and do great work. They have kept my 2008 Ford running well.

I had an amazing experience taking my car to Van Dorn Auto Repair! I attempted to change the spark plugs on my 6-cylinder by myself which required removing my intake manifold. I was able to remove the front 3 spark plugs but unable to remove the back 3. After putting my car back together, I called Van Dorn Auto Repair in a panic to see if they could help me out and they said it wasn’t a problem. They even used the parts I had purchased for my repair and only charged me for labor. Doug at the front desk was amazing and truly made me feel so welcome. He even added as I was leaving “Welcome to the family!” I’m so excited to have found a new mechanic after moving here from North Carolina! I will definitely be coming back for repairs big or small!

They're experts who will take advantage of people and not do their due diligence. Had an issue with my vehicle that turned out to be a simple burned fuse but they said they fixed it and didn't change out the burned fuse. Yes, I should have been a better car owner and realized it on my own but I'm not a car expert, and I don't run a business claiming to be one, so I feel like that's an important distinction. If they won't do something as simple as check the fuses when there is obvious electrical issues going on, then I wouldn't trust any work they do. Beware. I certainly would never go here again and would never recommend these people to anyone.

Sachi and the crew have been excellent throughout the years. They’ve helped out with yearly inspections, troubleshooting issues. This last round - the custom hydroboost kit, rack and pinion, PS hoses, coilovers, shocks, end links, upper control arms. Many thanks for the alignment, with all the caster! Much fun driving experience. They’ve installed a built transmission, engine and transmission mounts, and transmission crossmember. Even helped replace wiper arms, and an oil change. Even helped fix a fuse blowing (dang if an LED bulb go bad and take too many amps!) Thank you, thank you, thank you!
