Customer service is always top tier. Val is my favorite and he always provides detail information about the overall condition of vehicle and any items need attention. He is very knowledgeable and value his recommendations during time of service. Val is an asset to NTB.

Had a nail in our tire, when I arrived Jose was very friendly and was able to get me in right away. They were able to repair the tire and the entire process was quick and painless. I would highly recommend and we will return for any future issues.

Had a really great customer experience today at NTB with Val and was very impressed that he took the time to examine my vehicle in the lot without an appointment and walked me through tire pricing options and recommendations without being high pressure. He was very friendly and kind and I will be back to spend my money on new tires!

Great easy service! Needed a new tire and Gus helped me get the right fit for a comparable one. Even with the business about to close, they still treated me as though the store had just opened.

One nice guy working with a bunch of insecure gentlemen. Had my tires replaced two months ago, and two days after I left I got a notice that one of my tires had a leak. I politely asked one said insecure gentleman if there was any warranty on installation as why would a newly installed tire be leaking and he promptly said it was likely due to any service I had denied (replacing valve stems - had them replaced last time, road tire hazard insurance etc) and there was absolutely no way it could have been an installation issue. I asked how much it would be for them to check my tire and he scoffed as I inquired about the tire warranty. He then told me “since I just got the basic installed” (*cough* $600 full tire replacement), I should not expect my tires to be good 🙃 Save your money, don’t let them up charge you and for the love of god, go ANYWHERE else.

Without a doubt, this is the best shop. The manager was very kind and respectful. They know their job very well, and I highly recommend it. It's a great place to take your car. Thank you very much. Valentín

Jose was a pleasure to talk to , he was able to get me scheduled in a timely manner. The staff was friendly, professional, and honest about what my car needed. Service was quick, pricing was fair, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. I’ll be coming back for future services and highly recommend them to anyone needing car care.

I have had two excellent experiences at this NTB location. First, I took my car for winter tires - they arrived promptly and were quickly installed with no hassle. Secondly, today I took a different car for a battery check when considering whether I needed a new one given recent cold weather. I did not have an appointment, but Jose quickly ran out to check on my car, and told me in the end I did not need a new battery. He refused to take any payment after this, saving me a huge amount of time and money. With this level of quality and honest service, I look forward to coming back!

I want to caution people not to do business with the Alexandria, Virginia location. I had an absolutely horrible experience here on Tuesday, 2/3/2026. I’m traveling through the area and needed an oil change on my car before continuing my drive North. I booked an appointment online and brought the car in for this routine service, the service writer offered to rotate the tires as well during the service. I could not be more disappointed. The very young “technician” assigned to perform this routine service was in over his head and there were no competent technicians to provide him the guidance he clearly needed. I watched from the waiting area as he fumbled with his tools stripping the oil drain plug. When eventually the service writer came to talk with me he of course blamed the prior technician for the damage. I have owned this car since new and it had never previously been worked on by anyone other than my trusted mechanic. With nothing more than a stripped oil drain plug, I decided to cut my losses and have them put the tires back on my car so I could take it to the local dealer to complete the oil change and replace the oil drain plug. The simple task of reinstalling the wheels did not go without problems. After ten minutes of aggressive air wrenching use, the service writer brought me a lug nut and explained that the previous mechanic stripped the wheel lug??? I ended up escaping this terrible situation and headed to the local dealer where the oil was changed and the lug and lug nut were replaced without event. I will never make this mistake again. I learned a valuable lesson.

Went to this site last week to have my battery replaced. It was between the hours of 9 and 10 am on either Jan 23 or 24. I explained the situation to two men at front desk who only diagnosed from behind the front desk. I was told this was not a battery issue. They insisted that this was not a battery issue even after I requested a test. I went to a totally different establishment who told me I needed a new battery. The two men at the front desk of this NTB were not understanding, helpful or professional at all. They do not deserve 1 star.

Jose was very helpful and patient. Great service from Issac as well! Im very satisfied and happy that these two were here during the time I came in.

You need a car fixed this us where you go. Good customer service. Reasonable price. They work with you. Always go to them when my Mechanic tell me something serious is going on. Been going to them every since I brought my first car in 2012.

I always have great service! José has a great attitude and takes the time to explain what work needs to be done and the cost. I've started coming here for regular maintenance.

Bright in my work van with flat tire. Gave the flats my fleet card and the diligently took care of the rest. They a great job and was very prompt in completing the service. Thank you guys. Val and the guys at this location are amazing! They get my oil changes done super quick and they communicate throughout the process! This is the ONLY place I take my car for maintenance! Love them!

Jose was nice and kind to this 82 year old. I was concerned about the age of the battery and the coming drop in temperature. He took the time to reassure me that the battery was okay. He was very respectful and understanding.

I had such a great experience today! My daughter hit a curb we needed a new tire by end of day. Val helped us and said”no problem”! It was even done earlier than expected!! This is a grade A NTB store. I’ll be back Nancy

Had to get my tire patched after unfortunately running over a nail. Thankfully, the NTB team at the Alexandria location was friendly, efficient, and had me in and out in about 45 minutes. I’ll definitely return when it’s time to get new tires

Unbelievable staff and service. Val was incredible when I called on the phone and helped me navigate my tire needs. He got me scheduled the next morning. I was even more impressed when I went to the shop. Professional and honest and they fixed my tire needs immediately. I will continue to bring all my cars to this NTB it is worth the drive from DC to have such amazing service.

Service here was top notch. The tech went above and beyond to help us. We had a flat on a rental car, he took our tag, found our contract, contacted them and had everything approved. I have never had that great service on an issue with a rental ever. I highly recommend them. Thank you for your help.

I’ve been coming to NTB on Southgate road for years. Val and his team are very professional and provide excellent costumer service. Gus and Jose are very helpful when I bring my car in and give good recommendations. If you’re in a pinch they can always squeeze you in and have your car finished fast. When I had an old 2001 Toyota Val kept that car running way past how long it was expected to. Now I take my new car to his shop. Only place I trust with my car. They’re honest, helpful, and have good prices. I would strongly recommend this NTB to any family member or friends.

The best NTB shop ever at Beacon Hill shopping center in Alexandria! I was heading back in town from a trip to Luray VA 2 hours away from my home and only a few exits off of my highway 495 exit when my check tire pressure light came on. Fortunately I drove to an NTB next door to where I dropped my friend off from our trip. Being that my husband is recently deceased, I was at a loss as to handle the situation. At NTB Val took me as a walk in without an appointment. He checked my tire pressure on all four tires. They were just a bit low so he filled them to the appropriate level for free. I can’t tell you how much peace of mind and relief that I felt after Val worked on my car. A+ to NTB located at Beacon Hill shopping center. I am so grateful and my late husband would be glad Val took such good care of me. Thank you Val!

I’ve been coming to this NTB for a few years and Gus and team always provide superior customer service. John (does inspections) is thorough and gets the work done quickly. Fair prices and you can trust them. I highly recommend!

I've been coming here for 14 years. Great service, accommodating, helpful. For my Ford, I even bring it here for periodic service in spite of having the supposed "VIP" package at Sheehy. These guys are much better. They don't try to "upsell" you, just get what you need. I'll keep coming back.
