????? Ret3 is an incredible asset to the community, giving students and local schools a chance to tinker, explore, and develop hands-on skills with electronics—skills that sadly aren't being taught much these days.

The staff at Ret3 go above and beyond, especially when it comes to helping folks learn about electronics and hardware. Chris, in particular, was extremely patient and kind—he took the time to answer all my questions and even welcomed me down to check out the tech they’re recycling. I felt like a kid in a candy store seeing all the unique, weird, and niche computer components they get in. Honestly, I could spend all day digging through bins and discovering random old parts

I’m incredibly grateful for the time they gave me to talk and observe, even if it was just a short visit. I’ve got a bit of the tism, and this kind of stuff is totally my thing—it’s what I’m into, and it was really meaningful to get the chance to engage with it.

Also, big shoutout to the very kind receptionist who answered the phone—she was super helpful and let me explain what I was hoping to do.

I’d love to swing by again sometime, chat more, and just geek out over all the different components and tech they bring in. Last time I only stayed for about 10 minutes because I didn’t want to overstay or be annoying—but I’d honestly be happy just poking around and seeing all the cool stuff.
