Empire Metals Cleveland is hands down the best scrap yard I’ve been to. I brought in a load of scrap from my mobile mechanic business, including brake rotors, drums, struts, control arms, and mixed steel. Before going, I called around to compare prices, and Empire had the best pricing I found by far. Not just a little better either. Their pricing was noticeably better than the other places I checked, especially on automotive scrap like rotors and drums. Even if you are not in the automotive field, I highly recommend this place for scrap metal in general. The whole process was organized, transparent, and easy to follow. They had clear separate areas for different materials, weighed everything properly by category, and gave me a detailed receipt showing the weights, price per pound, and total payout for each category. No guessing, no confusion, and no feeling like everything was just being thrown together at the lowest price. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. From the second I pulled in, they were friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. They came out, looked over what I had, explained exactly where everything should go, answered every question I had, and never made me feel rushed or like I was bothering them. You can tell they actually care about running the place the right way and treating people fairly. If you have scrap metal, I would absolutely check this place out. And if you do automotive work, brake jobs, suspension work, or have rotors and drums piling up, this is 100% the place I would recommend. Between the pricing, the transparency, and how great the staff was, this was easily the best scrap yard experience I’ve had. Empire Metals Cleveland is officially my new main scrap yard. This is where I’ll be bringing my scrap from now on, and I’ll be recommending them to anyone who asks where to take scrap metal.
