What clients say about A&B Metal Recycling in Cleveland (OH)
The place was very busy due to some of th e first good weather days of the season. We were a bit stressed and not sure what to do, but folks were helpful and the owner was super nice.
Brian and his team run a well-oiled machine for their many daily customers. I was treated with kindness, respect and understanding as I brought a large stack of metals to the yard for the first time. They didn't make me feel like an amateur. They jumped in and helped me from the moment I drove into the yard. They provide the best pricing in town and provide white glove service. I look forward to my next visit to A&B. Thank you, Brian!
Great Place to Scrap
They will have you in and out with no time to waste. Friendly staff, seem to have a smile on their face while working with prides held high. The business will seem to have you leaving with a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious type of mood. Next time you have some pop tabs saved stop in, A&B is open.
I go there from time to time. Lots of nails and screws in lot, be careful, got a nail in tire once. I picked up several nails and screws on my last visit and a worker walked by and laughed at me, they should sweep regularly, wouldn't take but a couple of minutes with a push broom. Pay out is decent, better than the others.
Hi, I have been going to this scrap yard and the 1 on 117th street since I moved here from Kentucky.
I recommend that if u have scrap, aluminum cans, bring them here because,
1. The place is clean, not just inside but the ground that u are driving on. No nails or scrap 2 hurt your tires on.
2. These guys are friendly and take their time 2 explain everything to u. They do not help u unload but have carts 2 put your cans into. They take it from there.
3. My small load brought $13.95. They paid $14.00. Not many companies round up, a free nickle is a nickle more.
4. U need a valid ID because they require it but pay in cash.
5. They do use a magnet 2 check its clean aluminum.
I wish u 2 know I take all my precious metal there. I take the steel 2 a yard on 117th. I wish I could tell u the name so u avoid it but do not know it off hand. I take it there because it is closer 2 my house. Been there 3 times. All 3 times I have had steel but not a full truck. My issue is that all 3 times I have been paid $10.00 on each load, sound hinky...add the fact they have never given me a receipt,ever...sound more hinky...yeah that's not right. Take all your metal 2 A&B because at least they are honest. U got a brain, there is no way I magically have $10.00 on every load unless I am the luckiest guy scrapping, I'm not!!!
I will get u the name of this place and report it 2 ya but until then just beware of 117th street...
