I arrived and asked for my battery to be checked. The clerk assisting me had headphones on over one ear the whole time, barely acknowledged my existence, or explained what was going on, they just silently grabbed some equipment and told me to go open my hood. They tested my battery and in the quietest possible mumble told me “it’s not dying, it’s bad.” I had to ask them to repeat themselves multiple times until I understood what I was being told. I then asked them to help me assess which battery to buy, and again, they spoke so quietly I had to ask for clarification multiple times. Finally I purchased a battery and they handed it to me over the counter. I asked if they do installations and if they could assist me. It was like I asked them to work an extra shift or something, you could tell in their face. They walked away saying “one second,”and disappeared for 10 mins. After which they returned with a cart and some tools and said nothing to me. They walked slowly, with no urgency, to my car and stood there waiting for me to open the hood. No words were exchanged at any point when they returned.
Yes I understand it’s winter and I guess having a job and being asked to do it warrants the most lack-luster, even intentionally offensive customer service, but I will not be returning to this AutoZone again for service or to purchase anything. I’ve lived in this city my whole life and frequented this store to buy odds and ends. I’ve never before felt so bad for walking into a place of business and asking for help with my car.
Yes they did replace my battery which I appreciate at the end of the day, but if I behaved this way when I did my job I’d be fired within the hour. It’s ridiculous that this is the standard of service I am suppose to accept when it comes to something as valuable as my car, especially the battery. The whole experience made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
The guys and gals at this location really care about helping guests and customer service. There is a gentleman named LA and a guy named Durrell that personally helped me. They were very attentive, patient and knowledgeable. Thanks again guys for helping me get the correct windshield wiper blades during this bitter cold weather👍
I would give them -5 stars if it were possible. The girl who attended to me was disrespectful from the beginning. I went in for a battery test, and she told me it was an alternator issue, not the battery. I then went to another AutoZone location, and their battery test showed that the battery needed to be replaced.
I never thought I would give an auto parts store five stars. However, my Chevy bolt EUV had incorrect wiper blades listed in the computer. The salesperson pretty much opened every single wiper blade in the store to find one that would fit. Then he installed them on my car. Amazing tenacity and service. Thank you so much! I'm very appreciative.
Service was good overall. The wait was a bit longer than expected, but once I was helped, everything went pretty smoothly. The tech was friendly and professional.
Went and had a great experience purchasing a battery with guidance from Witty, he knew the sizes for everything and was eager to help with his suggestions for tools
I was in here one year ago almost to the day. Ended up walking out because of well let's put it this way. It wasn't a pleasant experience. However, something has changed at this place. Professionalism, courtesy, and salesmanship. Whoever is taking over since last year has made the necessary changes. It's a place I would be happy to go back to. And for the record, I tried getting windshield wiper blades from route 271 all the way to this place, on Mayfield Road. Of the five places I stopped. This is the only one who accomplished the goal of installing the blades.
Went there to purchase a battery and have it installed. The person who waited on me told me they can only install the battery "if it's easy." He came out, looked under the hood and said the he can't install the battery because it is partially under the cowling and the cowling has to be taken off in order to change the battery. That was a lie because the cowling is part of the car, not something that screws on and off. I ended up calling AAA who had my battery installed in 20 minutes.
Needless to say I won't be going back there.
Lazy people will cause a business lose money.
There are workers there named Will & Ken that was more focused on engaging in conversation with female customers instead of customer service. This store has helped me out before in the past but the staff there today is grossly inconsiderate. Staff there claims that they are not able to test the battery test or install a steering wheel cover purchased from the store. Totally unprofessional ! The names are Ken & Will at the 4105 Location.
Charles went above and beyond in solving my problem. He and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. I was in and out in no time even though the store was busy. A great place!
I want to commend Carla for her outstanding customer service! She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to assist me with replacing my car battery. Her friendly attitude and expertise made a stressful situation much easier. I truly appreciate her dedication and the extra effort she put in to ensure everything was done correctly. I was in a real bind today when my car battery completely died. I rushed to the AutoZone on South Euclid and was greeted by Will. Despite it being close to closing time, Will was incredibly helpful. He quickly assessed the situation, helped me select the right battery for my car, and then efficiently installed it himself.
I was truly impressed by the manager's kindness as well. I could tell they were eager to help a customer in need, even though it was late in the day. He instructed Will to install the battery, ensuring I could get back on the road safely.
Will's professionalism and friendly demeanor were truly appreciated, especially during a stressful situation. He went above and beyond to get me back on the road. I highly recommend this AutoZone and want to give a special shout-out to both Will and the manager for their outstanding customer service!
I went to the AutoZone in South Euclid, Ohio, today for a burned out tail light. The manager, Mitchell, helped me and he was great! Very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He really took his time to help me and I appreciated him taking the time to install my new tail light. AutoZone should be proud of his stellar customer service! Also, I noticed that the sidewalks in front of and around the store were impeccably clean. That was really surprising considering the wind and snow we've had the past few days in NE Ohio - he did a great job with that too. AutoZone, give Mitchell a raise, he's a great representative of your organization!
The people here are so helpful and committed to figuring out what is wrong. I was having what I thought was battery trouble and it ended up being more. All the employees gave great advice and helped me fix the issue. In the past, I have been spoken down to since I'm not very knowledgeable about cars but here they treated me with respect and taught me tips on how to know what's wrong. I would highly recommend stoping in if you have an issue!
Great place with helpful and friendly staff. They even offer specialized tools for loan when needed. I had to replace the alternator on my Dodge, and dealing with the serpentine belt required a special tool for the tensioner. All I had to do was pay a deposit, use the tool, and return it when I was finished. It saved me a lot of hassle and the cost of buying a tool I’d likely only use once.
I’ve gone to this store several times over the years and have always received great customer service. This week Carla was simply amazing and helped me solve what could have been an extremely expensive issue. Thank you again Carla for your help and GREAT customer service.
Visited the store today with a faulty alternator that was only a few months old. Service professional Carla, (and I mean professional with a capital P!) helped me walk through the warranty process like a pro. She was my guardian angel for the day! God bless you and your family Carla!
