Best Body Shop in Miami!I had an exceptional experience with this body shop. The paint work was absolutely flawless, with incredible attention to detail and a perfect finish. Sergio, the painter, did an outstanding job—his skill and professionalism really show in the final result. The car looks better than new, and the work was completed on time. I took my car to this body shop after an accident, and honestly I was very satisfied with the work. From day one Sergio was very clear about the process and how long it would take. The repair came out great—the car looks like new—and they paid attention to details I didn’t even know mattered. They were also very friendly and always willing to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend them and would come back again if I ever need to. 5 stars without a doubt.

Door Whisperer. I give these guys at MTJ Paint and Body Shop a 5 star rating only because a 10 star rating option was not offered, but here are my extra five stars: * * * * * For me, MTJ stands for Master Transformers of the Jodido (Effed-Up) I was driving around, with a messed up door on my otherwise very well maintained 4X4, manual transmission 2000 Forerunner. The slot on my driver’s side window, where the glass goes up and down and in & out of my door, where normally you can hardly fit a business card, was bowing out enough that I could fit four of my fingers in the gap between the trim and the glass. I called MTJ (found them on Google) and asked if I could come by. This was Monday at 4:05 in the afternoon— they closed at 5pm. From the minute Armando, the owner, greeted me at 4:35, I felt welcomed. He looked over my door, spoke to one of his employees, a young Cuban chapistero named Andres, who was speaking with a guy in a fire engine red A5. Andres, stepped up, and said that he could fix my problem on the spot. He walked away and returned with a piece of 1x3 inch board and a 5 pound sledge. In 3 minutes of suble tapping he was done. I shot a still picture, because he was so fast I had no time to video him with my cell. It was truly a marvel to watch this guy work with such effortless skill. Then, I realized, “You just met the The Door Whisperer, man! Also spirit moving, was that both Armando and Andres felt authentic, they had a genuine desire to fix the problem and were honest. Honest, because though he had all the high-tech stuff inside the shop, Armando didn't try to sell that to me. He easily could have told me to come back tomorrow, knowing my problem didn’t need it, and then take me for a pricier ride. Instead, he simply stated,“I can do this or we can order a new door” I left there feeling great with the snazzy repair, but there was a deeper takeaway: the knowledge that there are still honest and well-intentioned people in this often troubled world of ours, Lastly, I toast Armando and Andres, the Horse Whisperer. Both of you truly radiate love for what you do. Love of craft, what a concept, Huh? Here’s to your growing success, you deserve it. Cheers

I’ve been taking my cars to MTJ Body Shop for several years now, and I can honestly say the experience has been consistently outstanding. No matter the issue—big repairs or small touch-ups—they always deliver top-quality work with great attention to detail. The team is professional, honest, and truly cares about doing the job right. What really keeps me coming back is the combination of excellent craftsmanship and friendly, reliable service. They communicate clearly, the turnaround time is always reasonable, and my cars come back looking as good as new every single time. I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience deserves to be shared so others can make informed decisions. Being in a car accident is already extremely stressful, especially when you work hard for your vehicle and take pride in taking care of it. As a woman dealing with this situation alone, I expected professionalism and honesty. Unfortunately, my experience with this body shop made the situation even worse. My repair took almost five months and although the shop claimed to be “the best,” the quality of work on my car was extremely disappointing. During those months, my car was just sitting there, barely touched for long stretches of time. I had to constantly call, visit in person, and follow up because weeks would go by with no updates. I even had to call my insurance over and over, trying to get things moving, all while paying for a rental and doing everything in my power to get my car back sooner. When I finally picked my vehicle up, it wasn’t even properly washed(pictured shows it after i had it washed , you can imagine how dirty and dusty it was prior). After taking it home and inspecting it carefully, I found multiple issues: Paintwork was done poorly - scratches, compound residue, and areas that were not polished or waxed correctly. The surface feels rough instead of smooth. Has overspray all over due to negligence. The Mercedes trunk emblem was reinstalled completely misaligned, which should never happen on a luxury vehicle. My left window no longer rolls up properly( that’s the main part that was replaced/repaired). It now takes several attempts to close, and after taking it to the Mercedes dealership, I was told the issue is due to body shop misalignment - something only the body shop can fix. So basically i have to pay a lot of money to fix all those above on my completely brand new car… In addition to this, the keys from my previous car magically disappeared from the trunk… This was after an enormous amount of money was paid through insurance, and the workmanship does not reflect professional standards or attention to detail. I contacted the shop immediately and was told the issues were “minor” and that the compound paint could simply be cleaned. However, the misaligned emblem and the window problem were dismissed, and after sending photos, I was told I would get a call back. It’s now been days with no call, no text, no follow-up, and no offer to fix what was clearly done incorrectly. I would not want to go back there ever anyways. I was patient and respectful throughout this whole process, but I truly felt taken advantage of as a woman walking in there alone. That was extremely disheartening and added to the overall frustration. This review is not written out of anger - it is simply the truth of my experience. I hope it helps someone avoid the stress, delays, and lack of accountability that I went through. I also want to say that I appreciate the workers and the people I interacted with during this long process. I understand that the employees themselves are not at fault, and my frustration is not directed at them. My issue is with the management and the lack of proper oversight, communication, and accountability from those in charge.

After my brother’s truck was in an accident, we brought it to this shop, even though the truck ended up being totaled, the MTJ team went above and beyond to help us through the entire process. They were honest, professional, and genuinely cared about making things as smooth as possible for us during a stressful time. They had my car since August and still are not done with repairs. Every time I call they keep saying next week Friday. My car was a quick fix. I came to them with an estimate already from my insurance company. Its always an excuse with them. Very unprofessional. Will be there Monday in person to check the quality of work being done on my car because this is UNACCEPTABLE

I haven’t had the work done yet, but I’m already so impressed with MTJ Paint & Body Shop — especially the lady who’s been helping me throughout the process. I had some significant damage to my Hyundai and took it into MTJ for repair after hearing from a friend that they were a very credible shop. At 9 pm while waiting for a tow truck on the highway I called the shop to see if they would take me assuming no one would answer and I’d wait until the morning. Francis took my call and made me feel so relieved and confident I was coming to the right place. They took my car, got me a quote super quickly and offered to work on some other cosmetic damages I had been ignoring. After a quick 2 weeks, I got my car back looking literally brand new. I scratched the side of my BMW X5 and ended up with some nasty paint transfer from a parking lot. One shop tried to quote me almost $2,000 to fix it, but when I went to MTJ Paint & Body, Armando and his team were straight with me. Instead of upselling me on a full paint job, they told me it was just a paint transfer. Within an hour, they completely removed the yellow paint, buffed, waxed, and polished the area. My X5 looked like nothing had ever happened, basically brand new again. These guys are fast, honest, and professional. They saved me thousands and delivered way more than I expected. Shoutout to Armando and the crew at MTJ. highly recommend them to anyone in Miami who wants quality work without getting ripped off.

⚠️ WARNING – Do NOT go here!🚨🚨🚨 Customer service was okay, but the actual repair work was terrible. My car trunk is still leaking when it rains, even after I brought it back three times. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing. I eventually took my car to another body shop, and that mechanic confirmed the work was done completely wrong—the parts weren’t even installed the right way. Truly unprofessional. What’s worse, they only seem to respond to positive reviews and ignore unhappy customers. That tells you everything. Please don’t waste your money or time here. Do your research first, because those “good” reviews are very misleading.

The guys at MTJ Paint & Body Shop are just incredibly skilled and professional. I had my motorcycle getting some work done at my mechanic’s shop, and I figured it was the perfect time to bring the fairings over to MTJ to bring the bike back to life. I was on a tight timeline, but Armando promised the work would be done by the end of the week—and he delivered. It wasn’t just paint—they even repaired a few things for me. I dropped the parts off on Tuesday, and by Friday at 2 PM, everything was done exactly how I envisioned it. These guys don’t cut corners, and they stick to their word—something rare in the world of vehicle repair. I can’t thank them enough and honestly can’t recommend them enough. Whether it’s a small job or a big one—from a Honda Civic to a Ferrari—they treat every client with the same respect and care. You can tell you truly matter to them.

The paint began to fade after few months, the front Camera did not operate from the moment I took up the car when I wanted have fixed I was required to make additional, I don't recommend this mechanic or the work he does, Even the electrical work had to be updated with other mechanic. I know a few mechanic the best in the business and avoid pricey repairs with disconnected results.

I had an accident on the passenger side door and the entire door had to be replaced. My main concern was to get the car repaired rather quickly as I didn’t have any other means of getting around with my kids. The body shop ordered the door right away and helping with handling the Insurance and supplements and etc: they were very compassionate about my situation. The car was promised on Thursday and I got a call Monday afternoon that it was ready. I was so happy. They did an amazing job, the car was like brand new. Thank you to all the staff!!!

Posting this on behalf of my brother. "This has been the WORST body shop I've ever dealt with. They had my truck for 2 months and still managed to return it incomplete! They were quick to cash the checks from my insurance company but consistently gave me the runaround about work being completed on my truck. They kept saying parts were hard to find, but I'd easily find them online. Then they made excuses about not having the right key to work with, but they never called me to ask me for another key. The work itself was garbage: they took off the panel to my back driver side door which was not at all affected by accident, they replaced my front bumper with the wrong part, and left my truck without fog lights (aside from other small missing parts and screws)! They also left a ton of trash in the bed of my truck! WHY?!!!! I had to take my truck to another body shop and spend more money to fix the mistakes from this shop. If you care at all about your sanity and your vehicle, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Very unprofessional, full of excuses, and trash work." Bonus points for the condescending reply from the shop, "To better educate you on the auto industry"... for anyone wondering, these are basic parts that were available and fixed elsewhere 2 days after taking the truck out of this dump. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!

First, I was probably the most annoying customer for this team. For over a week I told them id show up with the car and parts and never did due to urgent circumstances. They never showed frustration and were very flexible. They got the work done very fast and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I had to replace my bumper, the lip and my splash shield. I’m glad I chose this shop.

MTJ Auto Body is the best!! This is a truly a family first body shop and I couldn’t be more happy with their work. I have been frantically trying to repair my Tesla Model Y 2022 and I had no luck before I heard about this shop! They answered the phone at 1AM!! I was shocked! They were very courteous and knowledgeable! They have excellent customer and they had my car looking like I had never seen! Repairs were great, they kept me in the loop throughout the process and they even did more than what I had asked! I am truly thankful for their impressive work and the quality of their work! Don’t even think twice this is the place to get your car repaired and TO MY TESLA OWNERS PLEASE GET YOUR TESLA REPAIRED HERE THEY HAVE TAKEN THE STRESS OUT OF REPAIRING TESLA!! I called twice before actually before getting an estimate in person. They were very responsive and informative. They provided me with paint correction on my bumper and touch up paint here and there with a partial buff.

I Requested a quote 09/24/2021 on car require repairs and sent pictures requesting a ball park estimate body work none was given. Because of the 5 star rating and free towing which was not true. I had my car towed there and I received an estimate in which I thought was extremely high over $11, 500. The Body Shop person Armando sent me the estimate and stated that he would get back to me later that day to locate part to give me an estimated time work would be completed . He never called back and after a week 10/04/21 I received a call from the receptionist asking if I wanted to continue with repair and make a deposit for half the repair cost. The next day I opted from repair at MTJ Paint & Body and was charged $2000.60 for storage fees which I believed to be unfair but if I did not pay it they would not have released my car. I told them I was a veteran and requested a discount. I explained Armando never tried to contact me, after the estimate which is $4,000 more than the Body Shop I will be using for repairs. Hoping this helps you in your decision to choose MTJ Paint & Body Shop.

It's hard enough when you are in a car accident and dealing with the stress, the time loss, inconvenience and also the anxiety of having your car repaired. They were recommended by a friend and I could not be more appreciative of the level of service I received. They are amazing from start to finish. It's a family owned and operated business and they make you feel like an old friend. The process was painless, they worked directly with Geico for the repairs and assisted me with the rental car pick up and kept me updated on repairs. They have an extremely well organized system and it's obvious why they are the best at what they do. The location is easily accessible as well and the shop is visible and clean. Line level employees are courteous, personable and very knowledgeable. I am extremely happy with the repairs, impossible to tell that I was in car accident.
