Do more research before buying from AEOFMIAMI (my experience)
AEOFMIAMI sells clean-title and salvage cars (crashed and not crashed), so I expected transparency. That’s not what we got.
• Inconsistent promises & pricing: On day one, we met with Luis, who told us they can negotiate at this Miami location (unlike their sister store in Colorado). He also showed us another car and said if we bought it that day it would be around $7,000.
• Website vs. reality: We came for a car listed as “runs and drives” despite a front-left hit. In person, the steering wheel was almost impossible to turn. Luis acknowledged the issue wasn’t disclosed and said he’d have a mechanic check and fix it. He gave us his number and told us to reach out the next day.
• Ghosted & contradictions: We called twice and texted twice—no response. When we returned to put a down payment, everything changed: we were told mechanics couldn’t fix the problem, the $7,000 car wasn’t actually for sale because it was “getting fixed,” and suddenly they “don’t really negotiate.” Only after pushing did they budge a bit on price.
• Undisclosed condition issues: After purchase we found zip-tied parts, a bumper that wasn’t secured, taped-together pieces, and fiberglass throughout—none of which were listed in the online description.
• Poor customer service: The day we bought the car, Luis saw us and ignored us, never asked about it, just turned away to chat with coworkers. When I later called about picking up the title (after being told it was ready), I was told I couldn’t come on Sunday because they’re “not supposed to be open”—even though the website said open until 6 PM, I called around 2:30 PM, and we originally viewed the car on a Sunday. The person on the phone was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
We’re grateful we could buy the car and we’ll handle the repairs, but the lack of transparency, shifting stories, and customer service were not up to par and felt shady. If you’re considering AEOFMIAMI, get a third-party inspection, verify all claims in writing, and assume what’s not disclosed may still be your problem.

The worst experience of my life. Do not believe a single thing this company says. They are a fraud. I cannot understand how they are still in business. The absolute worst set of human beings I ever encountered. Sold me a complete lemon, catches no keys, didn’t run and drive, nothing! It is in the junk yard now. Horrible human beings.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. My business partner and I contacted A E about a vehicle listed for today’s auction to get details on the engine and transmission. Fast forward to auction time — we had a client in our office ready to buy the car. That’s when we noticed something shady: A E was blatantly bidding up their own vehicle. Classic shill bidding. Thankfully, we’d done our homework and called them the day before with the VIN, which helped us catch them in the act. Unfortunately, someone else — not as lucky — got stuck paying more thanks to their scheme. The winning bidder and Mannheim Auto Auction have both been notified. This kind of behavior is dishonest, unethical, and exactly what gives dealers a bad name.
This place is a complete scam. They’ll post a car for sale publicly, make it seem like it’s available, then run it through the Mannheim auction and bid on their own vehicle to drive the price up. Total manipulation. They’re not just selling cars — they’re trying to scam honest buyers and play games with the market.
It’s dishonest, unethical, and straight-up shady. If you’re looking for transparency or a fair deal, AE of Miami is the last place you want to go. Watch your back and take your business somewhere legit. You’ve been warned.

When it came to the sale of the Vehicle everything went smooth as for the shipping part it has been a mess the sales person no longer answered me The transportation department just said it will be there this date didn't even give me information as to where the car was shipped to The shipping address was suppose to be different then the actual purchase address and the sales person was aware of this, No shipping cost info was given to me and no one is answering me at this point Very frustrated i have purchased here before and i had never have issues like this!
