Very disrespectful. After just calling was told to come to dispense old oil after buying oil change products. Do not co.e and waste your money here go to auto zone
I went to the Market Street location in Wilmington and immediately received amazing service from the team workers there. Reese and Mera got me my products I needed right away and installed my battery for me right at the store and the whole process was smooth. I was back on the road in all under 30min and highly satisfied with my service. I recommend this store anytime for your car needs :)
The staff at this store is great! Super helpful and friendly, helped me get exactly what I needed in a quick and efficient manner. Matt was the person assisting me primarily and he was very professional and helpful. 10/10 will return for car parts I'll need in the future.
See, you cant even go to a darn store without someone confronting you to ask for money or to buy something for them actually in the store. Then, when I explain myself to the gentleman that I'm not flush with currency and I can't afford barely anything for myself, the girl working there throws a little peanut gallery comment like something I said was wrong. If people are THAT intimidated by a regular ol working class guy opening his mouth its NO WONDER we are doomed. An ENTIRE WORLD FILLED AND OVERFLOWING WITH WEAKNESS.
I went to Advance Auto and asked for help, but the short Puerto Rican or Mexican lady with gray hair always tells me they’re not doing services — and this happens every time I walk in. I thought Advance Auto was supposed to help with things like installing windshield wipers or adding fluids when it’s safe to do so. Yet, whenever I go there, she doesn’t help, and neither does anyone else. I would understand if it were raining or if they were short-staffed, but there always seems to be enough employees in the store.
I was on a motorcycle ride to VA when the oil drain plug in my motorcycle (2003 Honda VTX 1300 s) fell out and got motor oil all over my fellow riders. We all ended up at Store 7633 in Wilmington DE. There I met Sarah an employee of the Advance Auto Zone store. Sarah went above and beyond the call of duty to fine the drain plug I need for my bike, so I could continue my trip. She was friendly, understanding and most of all very helpful. I received the correct drain plug, installed it and continued on my trip. Employees like her are a blessing. It was a pleasure to meet her. Thank you so much for your help Sarah.
Worst place to purchase and return defective auto parts. 4200 N Market st. store manager refused my return of a faulty fuel cap purchased 3 months ago with a 1 year warranty and receipt. She was rude and disrespectful to a loyal customer, I will have to rethink future purchases.
I walked in to buy wheel locks for my car. I was sold the wrong size wheel locks for my car. Then they refused to take them back because the package was open. Don’t shop there here.
Advanced Auto parts on Market Street in Wilmington DE is my favorite go to store for that quick part for me or anyone may find they need. You may have to walk the store for the ither things they have. The many folks there have helped me in so many ways and even when there was a faulty part they exchanged for another part or returned the part without issues.
The store clerk told me she didn't want to mess up her nails when I asked her to install a battery (which this company says they do). Change your service offering if you can't hire employees who are willing to do the job you hired them to do. Not being a complainer but the company literally tauts this service. Not asking for anything ya'll don't say you do. Smh
Not a very customer friendly store...had 3 employees working.... They dont care to offer help.. or even acknowledge you.... They seem too busy holding personal conversation with each other.... But nice clean store...found what I came for... Would recommend if you know what you need and dont need assistance... Because you wont get it from here... Otherwise good fully stocked store...
The manager had a bad attitude and it seemed to me like he had to be right all the time and domineering over the customer. Maybe he was just having a bad day (hopefully) and he is not like that all the time. Sure looked like he wanted to argue over everything and during the time he was helping me (I thought), he just walked away, in the middle of our conversation and went outside. I would say he is the lucky one in this case. Any other day I would have called him out on his attitude. Also lucky for him, another polite and respectful employee with a helpful attitude picked up where the manager left off. I hope he went outside to smoke something, because he certainly needed something.
I called in advance so that my parts would be ready for purchase when I arrived. They weren't but the saleswoman apologized for them not being ready. She was polite n helpful, she quickly looked them up n got them for me. It was pleasant being helped with a smile.
I bought brake pads, rotors and oil to give my truck a good maintenance day! They had the right parts and the experience was great! I have been using Advance Auto parts for years and I will continue because of great customer service and the correct identification of the right parts for the job!

Needed a battery. Asked to have it installed. The guy comes out and starts to unscrew bolts and catches an instant attitude!! Tells my husband he should not have to do this( put the battery in the car.
So he continues working and then he says "This is too much work!"
What else does he have to do? He is at work for 8 hrs. This is his job!!
So he starts yelling at the cashier when she comes outside telling her she should not have told him to do the job!!
Not very professional!!!
I wonder if Auto Zone install batteries?

The only reason they got a 1 is because I couldn’t them a 0 . HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They don’t know any of there policies or products and that’s insane. The one lady told my boyfriend that they didn’t even sell the product that he was trying to return from THERE WEBSITE. He had to literally show her the product on there website. I tried to call and complain and waited for a half an hour when we were just in there and she told me to wait because they were packed. They will never get any more of our money there and that’s for sure , I will be telling everyone about the horrible customer service I received.
Company needs to hire customer-friendly staff at the North Market St, Wilmington, DE store. Jamille pick fights with customers then tell them to leave the store & threaten to call the police if they don't move fast enough. SMH.
This store has very helpful and pleasant and professional workers. Every visit I have been pleased. Advance Auto Parts is the place to purchase ALL you auto needs.
Great employees. They have no problem with coming out to the parking lot to help with your car. I have gotten assistance installing windsheild wiper and replacing lightbulb in the rear of my car. Prices are affordable and if u ask the cashier they may have a coupon to provide .
