Really disappointed and upset that I trusted them with a simple leaking issue. I constantly had to call them multiple times throughout the day and daily to ask them for any updates. After 3 days of me having pay for uber, I simply gave up. Christopher which apparently was my point of contact went on vacation and never properly hand-over my case to anyone. The worst part is that I had to deal with SAM at Kirkwood Auto Center and he is the rudest man at that place. No customer service skills whatsoever. He seems very grumpy and unhappy. He never showed any empathy for my situation and he even had the audacity to tell me to just come pick up my car in such a rude way and hung up the phone on me. This is definitely not the right way to build customer loyalty, retain business reputation and increase sustainable business through social media and word of mouth reviews. For that reason I will never come back to this place and encourage people to do the same.
I was very happy with the team here and would totally take my car here again for service. They took care of me and very fair. I was upset when I got in my car that there was no gas in it at all.
They fit me in the schedule almost immediately and completed a full day on maintenance on my car in a timely and professional manner. I also feel the price was fair for the work completed (front breaks, tire rotation/balance, fluids, filters, oil, and a new belt all for under $1600). I trust the techs to tell me what is required and not take advantage of my lack of expertise. They even completed a quote for me to fix the broken door handle from a prior accident.
Bought Continental tires at Kirkwood Auto about 18 months ago. Unfortunately wife scraped up right front sidewall against high curb leading to eventual air loss and flat tire. Kirkwood Auto was great in noting that expected tire mileage was only about 50% and provided new tire at a fair discount.
The car got a damaged sidewall from hitting a curb in a parking lot. Towed by AAA to Kirkwood Auto Center on a Sunday night. Talked with them Monday morning and by the end of the day they had gotten a new tire in, mounted and balanced it. Incredibly quick turn around on the job, and excellent service for a very reasonable price. I'm very happy with our experience with Kirkwood Auto, and I certainly recommend them.
I was able to call and get my truck into Kirkwood Auto very quickly and have the problem fixed in a very reasonable timeframe.
My pickup truck is running well.

Kirkwood Auto is the best! As a widow, I have asked for their help more times than I can count, and they always make sure my issues are taken care of and I leave happy and my car in good service. Kudos to all, great Customer Service, and Mechanics…..
I never worry about being taken advantage of. I find KA to be honest, reasonably priced, usually friendly; not at all condescending. The shuttle service is a huge convenience for me too. Happy to give 5 stars and highly recommend.
After my appointment, I wouldn't recommend this place. Prices are too high. When I asked questions about what was actually done to my vehicle being worked on. The customer service went out the window. Sam was rude and short with me.
I paid 200 dollars for them to tell me what I already knew. Its a hard NO for me. ?
I brought my car in because my check engine light came on and noticed a change in the performance of my car. They found that the exhaust gas temperature sensor was bad and replaced it. Christopher kept me updated on the work being done. Car runs great! Very happy with the service!
The best part about this visit, (I've been taking my vehicles there since 2003 I believe) was the shuttle driver. The young man was so very nice, accommodating, a very good conversationalist, & a careful driver. I didn't catch his name because we were talking & engaging ?? the whole way - to & fro. It is always a good experience at Kirkwood Auto.
The gentleman I dealt with at Kirkwood Auto He was an older gentleman,was one of the rudest individuals I've ever dealt with was not helpful.
All he gave was lip service. Not a nice individual to be dealing with customers. And you could tell he really didn't want to be there.
I will never return to Kirkwood Auto. I will strongly advise individuals not to frequent this establishment
I was first skeptical when they charged me $900 to replace an exhaust sensor. Then they tried to charge me $2200 for a brake line job that I had fixed for $1000. The last straw was when they told me it would cost $490 to replace a tail light socket. I bought the part for $10 and installed it myself in under 10 minutes.
I have been going there for years. I am afraid to go back and look over my receipts to see just how much they have ripped me off over all this time.
Multiple mechanics outside of the area, meaning not competitors, confirmed the work was shoddy, overpriced, and they missed a ton of simple maintenance things that they claimed to have taken care of.
Everyone was very pleasant to speak with on the phone. Very helpful and thorough to make sure our vehicle was working properly. Would highly recommend to others with a student at UDel.

Kirkwood Auto Center is the only shop my wife and I trust with our vehicles. When the oil pump on my GF's jeep died a few months ago I bounce around getting quotes and Kirkwood's quote was over a thousand dollars cheaper than most other shops. Needless to say we decided to go with them and I'm glad we did!
Once I approved the work they had it repaired really quickly and we were back on the road in no time! Their front end staff are also super knowledgeable and friendly. The shop itself is extremely clean and organized which I appreciate and they don't try and upsell you on a bunch of junk you don't need! Just good old fashioned honest work!
They also did a great job working on my Volkswagen which I was surprised to find out they were willing to do since it's a German car!

This Auto Repair center is an absolute gem. Great workmanship, reasonable prices, outstanding customer service, a wonderful customer loyalty program and a courtesy multipoint inspection. Hands down some of the best service I've received in a longtime. I went in thinking I was going to be in a far worse position with researching or hearing scenarios and Christopher quickly put my mind to rest with what the problem was. They quickly got the work done and provided me with some future repairs that needed to be done. They didn't force the envelope and due to that, I will definitely be back when the time frame fits. My new car service place! From beginning to end my experience here was excellent. I got a hold of a person the first time I called and they were able to make me an appointment for the following week. I dropped off my car at 7:30 and was in the shuttle by 735 and to work by 745! Everyone I met was so nice and helpful. The waiting room is more like a living room with a fireplace and magazines and everything is pristinely clean. (Unlike the usual stale popcorn, sticky counters, coffee-you-would-never-drink kind of place.) By 10:30 AM they called me back letting me know my car was finished. I’m not sure if they always operate this fast, but this was world record time! Caught the shuttle back on my lunch break and boom everything was done. The cherry on top is that the cost is probably half of what I had been paying elsewhere. I will most definitely be back whenever needed and will bring the rest of my family’s cars here as well.
