Took nearly 5 hours I waited three hours for tape weights to balance the wheels of my truck because the facility ran out of of tape weights. I feel this should be something that is an inventory at all times because you were in a business of selling tires which you have to balance the tires when they’re put on the wheel overall experience was good other than waiting 3 1/2 hours for the tape. Weights advisor was very helpful advisors New. It was his third day on the job and he ran into quite a few complications during the day. I feel that there’s a lack of good management and inventory control at the facility.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Went in to repair a tire which was originally quoted for 24 dollars and they tried to bill me for 1400 dollars in repairs. Scheduled an appointment and still ended up waiting 3 hours to repair one single tire. The attendant forgot I was in the waiting room. I would never suggest this as a place to go. All around horrible experience.

Pulled up and my car door was open, unlatched. Dude named Sean took no accountability even though it was him, even being rude when we asked. Buddy was super unprofessional. Front desk people were lovely. I really hope Sean learns customer service, and finds a hobby that lets him get out that pent up anger.

Ordered tires 5 days prior to install date, dropped vehicle off, went home 30 mins away and got a call saying they did not have the tires I preordered. Rescheduled the install and waited 6.5 hours to install them

I made an appointment for 10am and waited almost 3 hours for an oil change. All of the staff, other than the woman at the front desk, were cussing and screaming throughout the lobby. While waiting for HOURS and never being given any explanation as to the delay, this was not an enjoyable experience!

It took too long and they did not have the sales for everything as claimed. I was there 5 hours for 4 tires and an oil change which cost $1000.00

I came in frantic on a Sunday when my check engine light came on and even though it was Sunday and they were short staffed they took the time to check the engine over and reassure me I could make it home.

As always, Pep Boys provides an accurate assessment of the problem and provides excellent repairs. I have been using Pep Boys for years and I've never had to return my car(s) for faulty repair service.

I called the Midway location on a Friday morning and was allowed to schedule an appointment for the following Sunday to replace my rear shocks. When I arrived on Sunday, the manager was very rude to me and seemed surprised by this and stated that she didn’t have any techs working that day to perform the service. I informed her that I had an appointment and was confused by her stating that she didn’t have anyone to do the work. She asked what kind of car it is and then confirmed that she had record the appointment. She was very rude and made it seem like I had made the mistake. Extremely disappointed with the service at pep boys and will not be returning.

I visited this store more than 2 hours before closing time with a flat tire. I was told the staff is busy and they cannot accomodate me. This was after visiting their other location 2 miles north on Kirkwood Highway and being told that the tech was leaving early and couldn't install the tire I bought from that location. I drove that distance on the flat tire at the recommendation of the first location's staff. Overall, my worse experience with an auto repair company. Leaving a customer stranded after they purchased the tire is an absolutely terrible experience.

The lady I dealt with the desk was very helpful and got me excellent value on tires. The work was completed very quickly and it was a great experience. I will continue to visit that store when I need things done.

The staff here goes above and beyond to meet your needs, they are very helpful and do everything they can to get you in and help you out no even if they closing soon, they didnt hurry, they understood i had to get the car fixed same day and they didn’t hesitate and got the job done. Will always come here for all things cars and tires, Lex is the best!

One of the worst customer service experiences we ever had at a mechanic shop. We were visiting from out of town and the car broke. Since nowhere else was open on Sunday, we had the car towed to this location. They quoted us $900. They did not look at the car until Wednesday. To which they told us that it would be $2,500. I totally get upselling but when you call and have such a bad attitude when we say we do not want tires at the moment that we just need to get the car home it's super unprofessional. I was hung up on twice when I would call to see if there was an updated payment proposal. My mother who is the owner of the car understood that her car needed more work but could not afford right now since we were coming from out state and she had to get home for work. When the vehicle was picked up on Friday the employee was very rude. My mom walked in and said who she was and that she was there to pick up her vehicle. The lady Just handed her the keys in an envelope and the receipt on the counter. When asked where her vehicle was located she said it's in the second parking lot somewhere. We truly regret using this location and would have chosen anywhere but here if we had known it would be like this.

The lady checking you in was very nice and professional. I saw the young man who came out to get my truck. Moved very slow and had no uniform on. Very unprofessional. Took my truck back at 8:15 and didn’t get it back until 1:30 for just 4 new tires. Maybe I’m asking too much but the outside of the brand new tires were filthy with some sort of white junk all over them. Never cleaned off. Very sloppy. Very disappointed when spending that kind of money on tires.

During my oil change and tire rotation, I had many questions and Alexis S in the front was very professional answering my questions and helping me to understand my car. The crew did a good job, however, Alexis and Debbie went above and beyond.

I always have a decent experience at the Pep Boys located at Midway on Kirkwood Hwy. I always make an appointment; so I cannot comment on what it is like without one. Customer service is good. Communication is timely and thorough. I appreciate the fact that they include videos along with your inspection record. This lets you see how the repair affects the functioning of your vehicle. They do a thorough job and often do small things like tightening screws in my door without me even asking. They give me discounts and coupons that I might not be aware of. Even when I walk away with a repair that costs more than I'd like to pay, I don't feel as though they are trying to take advantage of me. Everything is expensive today and with an old car, you pay for the repair or get a new car. I would recommend them.

Pep Boys Midway not only has the excellent overall Pep Boys tire finder, which allowed me to research available tires for my 2006 Nissan Sentra, they have excellent service at a good price. Two sales people I dealt with and the mechanic who worked on my car were very knowledgeable and helpful. I will certainly be going back for routine maintenance.

Stopped by looking for a tire depth gauge. Really nice lady told me that AutoZone would have them just a block away. Then she went even further and loaned me one. Clearly cared to help someone with a simple need. My pep boys at Prices Corner closed their store but I do find the remaining locations helpful but this lady went beyond expectations.

My tire blew out, we managed to drive to a parking lot called for a tow. Called Pep Boys. They had our tires ready to install before we got there. Had to wait a bit. But everything went smoothly.

I visited this location Sept 2024 for the full service oil change and tire rotation, which cost just under $100. After the lady behind the desk with multi-colored hair mumbling comments that my 24 Kia should be taken to a dealership, they took my car back. After about 45 minutes, I was given back my keys and told all was completed. Once I got home, I realized they did not rotate my tires, so I had to go back. The same lady was behind the desk and gave me attitude, told me the mechs forgot that part of the service. Fast forward 2 months, my coolant and wiper fluid ran out. When I called about the second mishap, the attendant told me I must have a leak in those reservoirs and they can't do anything about it. There was one great worker at the shop, a younger girl, everyone else seems to do bare minimum with an attitude and takes no accountability for not completing all of the work.

They get the job done slow as possible. Stopped in for tires, told they would take it right away so went down the street to eat breakfast and wait. No call after after 1 hour and 45 minutes so walked back over. Surprise car hasn’t moved. Same salesman said yeah, only two techs working couldn’t explain why he said they wouldn’t take it right away as promised and then took 2 hours to bring it back. Then the alignment paperwork we found in the car after we left showed the car was still out of the recommend alignment ranges. Nobody brought this up at checkout. Also they asked to checkout about 15 minutes before the car was done, perhaps to look better in the system. Seriously 4 hours of waiting for tires and an alignment . Very disappointing.

The service was great. Debbie is such an asset. The mechanics work quickly and are transparent. I appreciate being able to have them in my neighborhood. I’ve been a customer of Pep Boys for a very long time and when you need them they are there. I went in for one concern and they answered my questions and helped with the issue.. I felt they adverted a problem I would have had later on. Well done guys.

Even though I was helping my brother drop off his car at Pep Boys, the personnel were inside were very courteous. They were professional and explained all of the questions my brother had asked them. He had been going to them for the past year with no issues. I liked when they told him that they will give him a call and let him know what the problem is and how much it would cost. 5 star rating……
