I stopped by this location for simple headlight replacement purchase and Tim S not only was a delightful and helpful salesperson but he so graciously assisted with installing the headlight in my car. The customer service at this location is first in class, especially with Tim. Thanks for your assistance.

Went to Auto Zone Kirkwood Hwy Wilm De after being informed about an error code found during a vehicle appraisal. Tim S the employee who helped me was so professional, informative, kind and extremely helpful. He took it upon himself to cross reference the Error Code he found and explain our need to get our Honda further evaluated for thermostat/coolant temp sensor. So appreciative for our trip to AutoZone store #3496 today. The Chiffons’s Family

He was patient to listen to why I brought the vehicle in and to explain what he was doing throughout the process. Stopped in to pick up a low beam headlight replacement and had the best car part customer service I’ve ever experienced. They helped locate the right performance level product and offered gloves to prevent skin oil from degrading bulb performance upon installation. Phenomenal people - thank you!

Today I was at Auto Zone and spoke with Anthony. I had just had AAA come to help as my car wouldn't start. They checked the battery and let me go. I was hesitant to go home and not have my car start in the morning. I went to auto zone, Anthony checked the battery and it was bad. He installed one in a quick few minutes and explained everything about the codes, etc. He was extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Auto Zone on Kirkwood Hwy. In addition, it was evident that all those that work there work as a team making sure all customers are taken care of. I would go back there in a heartbeat for their good service.

Been shopping there for years. Employees are great. Even if I'm sold a part that turns out to be bad or anything which is rare but it does happen, they take care of the issue without question. And if you see Mason the manager there, tell him I sent you. He's a great guy who goes above and beyond to help you out. ?

You really can't get better service than this!! Just left AutoZone and had the pleasure of meeting Anthony. Anthony immediately offered to help me, was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and professional. He even helped me put wipers on without being asked! Even as he was walking back into the store I saw him holding open the door for another customer and was obviously being Anthony because the customer immediately had a smile on his face! He is a keeper!!!

Hello. I stopped at the Auto Zone store on Kirkwood Hwy several days ago the buy a bulb to replace my burnt out turn signal bulb. One of the employees, Anthony Crespo, offered to replace the bulb for me. Anthony was very friendly, knowledgeable and replaced the bulb for me with a smile. Thanks so much Anthony.

My car battery died right in front of the store. Freddie and the store manager, Chris, both helped me jump start the car to get it out of the way and installed a new battery for me right there in the parking lot in 20 degree weather. Both of them were as nice and helpful as can be and I appreciate everything they did for me and more. Thank you gentleman both so very much!! I appreciate you more than you know!

I can’t say enough good things about Marvin. I stopped by on Friday which was a cold, rainy night when my car battery unexpectedly gave out, and he went above and beyond to get me back on the road. Replacing the battery turned out to be far more complicated than anticipated due to various obstacles, but Marvin remained patient, determined, and professional throughout the entire process. Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions and the extra time it took, he worked tirelessly to ensure everything was installed correctly and that my car was running smoothly before I left. His commitment to customer service was truly exceptional, and he didn’t stop until the job was done right. It’s rare to find an employee with this level of dedication, and I’m so grateful for his help. I highly recommend Marvin, to anyone looking for assistance at this Autozone. Great staff and great selection of parts ? These guys aren’t doctors and rely on searching everything through their proprietary corporate database so it’s best to show up with the knowledge of exactly what you need ? For some reason all the cheaper wiper blades have been opened and left back on the shelves for others… which is bad :( The manager gave me 75% off EVERYTHING I bought because I brought this to his attention. Super helpful staff, clean business, but don’t let customers open inventory and put ‘em back! ?

Tim helped me put the batteries in my car key which is not easy to do. I had been struggling with it for months and I was glad I stopped in. I wouldn’t have been able to get the fob open if it wasn’t for his help! He also showed me which batteries I needed.

Recently stopped in for windshield wipers, was directed to isle and told which type I needed. Upon request, a nice young man installed wipers quickly and efficiently, saving me hours of frustration. Very satisfied and grateful for the excellent service.

This is by far the worst AutoZone in Newark DELAWARE!! I’ve choose to go to another AutoZone further from this one because I’m tired of their BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! If you need your battery installed or your engine light check out, most of the employees here is lazy and they don’t want to provide that service THEY’RE SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE FOR YOU!! Here’s the issues I went through. 1. I had a skinny Arabic guy tell me they don’t install batteries but found out they’re supposed to install new batteries as it’s apart of their service. 2. Had a big tall black woman and a skinny Spanish woman try to tell me to use the engine light scanner myself when again, THEY’RE supposed to check it for you. 3. Then had some black guy order my part I was trying to buy to the wrong STORE!! So I had to go to another AutoZone to get the part. I’m over this place and never going back???

Just went to Auto Zone (Kirkwood Highway) and I was the only customer and there were 3 associates working (if you can even call it working), 2 associates were talking to each other and the other was playing on her phone. The associate on the phone didn't even look up when I approached the counter. She couldn't even help me she referred me to the self checkout! Sure, no problem I will earn your pay while you play on your phone!!! Unbelievable!!!???

I’m skeptical that their car battery testing is accurate. I took in a battery that subsequently tested good and has been working fine but at AutoZone their test said it was a bad battery even though I only brought it in for charging, not testing and wouldnt retest even after expressed skepticism that it was actually bad and refused to try charging it because they said it was bad. It had me wondering if their testing equipment was skewed toward showing a bad result in order to sell replacements.

Just a great experience!! I came in late in the evening and needed help with a part. The whole team was busy helping people with all their needs. Was told last week when I went in for a battery check that they would check it and see if we had batteries that would fit my vehicle and they even said with my how my car electrical system is set up they would replace the battery. Well come to find out my car has 2 batteries that would need replacing and they didn’t tell me that part. So I went in today before knowing about the second battery and they had the battery I wanted and when they came to look at my battery the 2 guys working today said they would NOT do the replacement. Note my car battery isn’t allowing my car to start with out a jump. So that made me really upset. Y’all need to teach these people about the different cars and their systems better because maybe you would get some bushiness from people like me who need a battery badly. Will never come here again. Worst service that I’ve ever had from here very disappointed.

2 people working on a busy Saturday. Website said part was in stock. Genisia, the slowest moving person in the universe was in a bad mood, apparently hates her life and everyone she comes into contact with. Took as long as possible moseying around the store to barely look. Walked like she had all day and couldn’t be bothered to actually look while answering the phone in a voice you would expect someone to use who hates her life and everyone she comes into contact with. After taking as long as possible to barley look she decided the part wasn’t in stock even though website says it is. She clearly had no interest in actually finding the part. We would have called from the parking lot to hopefully talk to someone else but she was answering the phone while we were in there and just putting people on permanent hold. This is why people order online now.

I recently visited AutoZone and had a mixed experience with the staff. Unfortunately, Jenezia's ( not sure if that how her name is spelled but she’s has brown skin color)customer service was incredibly disappointing as she displayed a lack of care and rudeness towards customers, including myself. Her behavior hindered my overall experience and left me feeling unsatisfied. On a positive note, I had the pleasure of encountering Thomas, a truly exceptional employee who went above and beyond to help me with my battery issues. Thomas's professionalism, knowledge, and friendly demeanor made a world of difference, restoring my faith in AutoZone as a valuable resource for automotive needs. In summary, while Jenezia's poor service left much to be desired, Thomas's exceptional customer service and assistance greatly outweighed the negative experience. I commend Thomas for his dedication and recommend seeking his help should you require any automotive assistance at AutoZone.

Needed an old Honda part and ordered the wrong one. The associate informed me about a difference in my particular car's model year being a half year, so it would actually be the next year. They found the right part, all in 5 minutes of walking through the door. Worked great, thanks a lot! Excellent experience for something that could be very difficult, especially for non-mechanics.

Andy was very helpful in ascertaining the problem of my battery. I was having trouble with turning it on and he tested it and was able to fix my issues by offering various solutions and knowledgeable options. Thomas was also there to help explain certain terminology to me when I had questions and Justin was a big team player in making the process run smoothly with wonderful conversations. I would absolutely recommend this autozone in particular for the amazing service 10/10 all around best experience I've had in an auto shop.

Good service and nice peeps. Roll up and get your oil change on. Maybe buy some vaccum lines or spark plugs. Although one time there was a old man there that smelled like old chicken tenders.
