I love how the have it set up for a small store. They have beautiful fresh and salt water tanks set up and their submersed plants are 2nd to none around here

What a great place. After canvassing a number of places in the area we went back to Nahacky's because of the attention and service we received. We were looking for a large tank setup and wanted a place that would take the time to answer a lot of questions, were knowledgeable, and had equipment we liked. Nahacky won on all counts being a family business that really cared. The delivery and setup went smoothly and they took a genuine interest as the tank matured. It's been about 5 months now, we're still learning, they're still teaching us, and we have a thriving fish and coral environment. Additionally they've given us enough help to allow us to do much more on our own, confidently, than I thought we would be at right now. Always have enough time for us, and I've seen it with every customer when we're in the shop. Much better than the more industrial aquarium shops we've experienced.

Two stars for the stocking /products inside the store , every fish keepers dream everything you need right infront of you, the issue? , the staff are incoherent, rude , and truly never give me what I need or ask for they act like they themselves have no experience talking to people or fishkeeping … I love this store but the staff need to get it together

I have been going to NaHackey's for many many years. I remember her dad bring katie in when she was just alittle tot. NaHackey's is the best place for you salt and fresh water tanks. Best people to do business with very help with knowledge. And they are the best in my town. Check it out for yourselves you will ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! HAVE A BLESS DAY!

So overall I personally wouldnt buy fish here. They had a pretty good selection of fish both common and more sought after species, a lot of aqua scaping materials and supplies. The staff are friendly and attentive to customers. My only complaint and the biggest downfall was the quality of the stock. Almost every tank had sick fish in it. Fin rot was a major sight as well as fungal growth on a lot of fins and parasitic infections with fish having sunk in bellies, the 2 puffers I saw there looked like they had a really bad case of Ick covered in white dots. If the fish were healthier I would definitely recommend

Wow! We brought my son here yesterday to get the first few fish for his new tank, and the experience was just fantastic. From the second we walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had the pleasure of dealing with Tim, and let me tell you, Tim is a certified fish GURU. He listened to what we were doing (a small starter tank for our son) and pointed us in the exact right direction for fish that would be perfect for us. He was so knowledgeable, patient, and great with our son. You can tell when people are passionate about what they do, and that's the vibe we got from everyone here. We left feeling confident and excited. This was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. We will be coming back to Nahacky's for all of our aquarium needs!

We stopped here for the first time today with our 2 year old son to get him his first fish. Tim the employee was SUPER knowledgeable and nice. He told us everything we needed to know and do. He was also very honest. He could have tried to up sell us on things, but he was super honest and helped us pick out the best starter fish. The place was well kept and clean. We will only be going here for our fish needs, no chain pet stores for us! Thank you so much Tim for making our son’s experience a good one!

Aiden (not sure if that’s how he spells it) is one Hell of a salesman. Walked in as “No no, I’m just looking,” and left as a “And that’ll be… $150 please” got several cory, some cichlids, and a betta. always a good time at Nahacky’s!

You're playing yourself a fool You keep saying we offer a premium service what you never offered. I owned my own business for years when I made a mistake I didn't get into debates with people on Google I went and fixed the problem and made sure the customer was happy obviously you don't care if the customer's happy you never did not from the moment I bought that tank every time I came in with questions nobody wanted to be bothered I walked in and bought a can of tablets for food from reefer madness they cut my problems in half in a 1 hour visit with them No charge just talking to them but they do charge for a professional service and they make that up front and abundantly clear something you don't do. You keep saying that you have a premium setup service how is anyone to know about it if you don't sell it or offer it? Especially when someone comes in with pockets full of cash and is ready to spend just face it you dropped the ball You told me you were going to be on vacation for the weekend and you'd have the tank ready for me no later than Tuesday I waited from a Thursday to the following Friday so that's 8 days for you to have that tank ready and from looking at it it was still a mess it wasn't cleaned up and ready for setup it is your obligation as the seller to let the consumer know what problems may occur. It doesn't matter whether I purchased it used or brand new if you're selling it you should give both customers the same treatment just because I bought it used doesn't mean it was cheap I see the same tanks for a third of what you're charging. I never complained once I waited for you to take a step forward and resolve the solution I had been in the store plenty of times to complain about green algae to complain about the light set up . One of the kids that worked there told me oh I'll set the lights up for you he made it all green and yellow The worst thing for a green algae tank I finally had AI to write the light settings and import it into the red seat app.If you buy a tank from the from these people and they're going to deliver it for you and you pay a charge Make sure before that tank is put in place and you stop putting water in it that they put all the trim on for you and set it up absolutely correct and make them wait until the filter is running You're paying for the service these people act like they've been in business since the '60s and there you know what doesn't stink I really was displeased with my purchase and I've seen the owner several times in local stores and said hello and been polite. I'm still playing with this because I haven't had a salt water set up in 10 years. I am playing with the lights and the timing and the control of the different color lights should now I basically got it with very little yellow and green mostly blue and it seems to be killing off some of the algae I'm looking into different types of water now and as soon as this tank is semi setup and looking good I'm going to sell it and go buy a brand new one and set it up properly old school crush coral not live sand and I really don't need a lot of coral in the tank I'd rather do more plants and living things in the tank Don't really want a mini coral reef but that's just my taste. But if you're really looking and you want a deal I trust the guy at reefer madness over in mid Melbourne. You never offered me a full service set up! It's obvious with the kind of money I was spending you could have done that and I would have paid it I tipped everybody in that store that helped me You took my kindness as a weakness it's not a way to do business that guy just dumped the tank on the floor didn't tell me oh you should put the trim on first nothing no suggestions if I would have known that service was available I would have gladly paid for it but it doesn't matter I'll be moving over to a 125 and do it old school so much easier.

Add freshwater tropical fish go it has some seems to focus more on saltwater fish and freshwater shrimp. Now that being said any local owned fish store is a great thing to have in your town the chain fish stores don't carry much and every store you go to has the exact same fish no matter what town so if you want more variety and the fish you want to have in your aquariums locally owned is the way to go.

Had such a great experience at Nahacky’s The staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating. I bought freshwater plants for my fish tank , a new fish and cherry shrimp. I will definitely be back!

If I were to rate the store itself, alongside quality and prices, I would leave this location a 1/5. There are constantly sick/dying fish on display, and the prices can be on the fair to more expensive side of things. This location is successful due to the fact there is essentially no competition in the area. Although I am not even remotely satisfied with this store, I am electing to leave 5 stars solely for the fact Tony has kept me coming back for years. He is an exceptional person, super knowledgeable and always willing to help. Tony has assisted me with resolving numerous issues over the years, and if it were not for him I would never return to this store. Although some staff members are personable and/or helpful, no one beats Tony. If you stumble into this store, hopefully he is working and can help you out.

I had a truly exceptional experience with Nahacky’s when it came to moving my large and challenging aquarium. From the start, I hired them specifically for their experience, and they absolutely delivered. The move went off without a hitch—no accidents, no stress, and most importantly, no harm to the tank or its inhabitants. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, given the size of the aquarium. Once the tank had cleared up, they returned to finish the aquascaping, ensuring everything was perfectly in place. Thanks to their expertise and care, my tank, fish, and coral are all thriving. Supremely well stocked with everything you could need for either starting a new tank of continuing in the hobby. Where this place really shines is in the knowledge of the associates and their willingness to help.

Don’t bother shopping here anymore !!!!! I bought a $150 fish from them and it died from ich 3 days later. All their tanks next to the tank this fish was in were sick. I asked if they shared the same water system and they said no. I brought it home after purchase and i can tell it was lethargic but i thought it was due to new tank stess. Two days later i see the “salt” ich on the fish and my other fish were starting to get it too. Hate to say this but this is not the first time this has happened and my other friends who USED TO GO to nahackys said the same thing happened to them. I called the owner and she said it was my fault and refused to issue a full refund. I told her me and my friend won’t be going here anymore and she shrugged us off. Terrible. Please think twice. It’s cheaper to buy online and ship it. It’s the same thing they do and charge double. Also you can buy products on Amazon for a quarter of the price. People need to understand customer service comes first not profit.

They have an amazing selection of aquarium life, including marine vegetation tanks and accessories, both salt and fresh water. Friendly and informative staff, that will help you find the right setup for your budget. They have it all and the prices are according to the level of quality and rarity of the item. Plus they have a full line of equipment and aquatic life for any outdoor pond.

Hands down the best aquarium store in town. They sell salt and freshwater plants fish and supplies. Tanks are immaculent, prices beat petco and petsmart by a significant amount on some fish, the selection is huge and the customer service can not be beat. They have fish breeds that are hard to find elsewhere. I am newish in this area (one year to be exact) and I searched for fish stores but this did not come up. I found it on Nextdoor in the Aquarium Fish Keepers group where someone had shopped and was discussing it. I am so glad I went and ummmmm I might need another tank so I can buy more fish. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I posted some photos but they don't do them any justice. And I have salt water envy but not ready to take that leap. My review is based on freshwater.

Doesn't get much better than this family owned pet store. They have all your aquatic needs with a knowledgeable staff in a very clean, well organized location. A MUST STOP!!

What an awesome place! The store is incredibly interesting, as well as the intriguing array of fish /water creatures all over the place! The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! I learned a lot and would definitely recommend visiting Nahackys with the kids!

This store is clean and beautiful! You can tell these people care about the health of their plants and animals. The tanks are very clean and the creatures are thriving. They have a wonderful selection of salt and freshwater creatures. Their selection of freshwater plants is amazing. Prices are good, and staff very helpful and attentive.

Finally got my tank back to normal and had to add some fish. 3/16/21 Update. This place is awesome. I ordered a new 125 gallon aquarium from them. The price was way cheaper than what I could find on the internet and it only took less than 2 weeks to get.
