I visited the Vette Doctor after having taking my 1996 C4 to another specialist who failed to identify (and repair) the cruise control which was inoperative. I made an appointment and dropped my car off on Wednesday. I met Keith one of their techs who asked a multitude of questions about the car which I've only owned for 4 months. Didn't hear anything on Wednesday, or Thursday so I called on Friday. They are closed on Fridays. Monday was a holiday so I waited until Tuesday to reach out. I called at 11:00 am and learned that my car was ready for pick up and that my cruise control was now working. I was very happy. I met with Keith who showed me where the problem was - a disconnected vacuum hose buried among others. The Vette Doctor solved my issue. They are HONEST, KNOWLEDGABLE and FAIR. They get my highest and best recommendation.
So, before I start I want to note that I did read the reviews prior to going to the shop. The only real negative remarks that were provided was that calls were not returned, and those reviews were not recent. I tossed it up to maybe a bad receptionist that was replaced and this was no longer an issue. I drove to the shop Tuesday morning around 9:30ish, was met by a gentlemen named Kurt who was just lovely who took a look at the bezel so he could see where the crack was located. We chatted about our shared love of C7s. I needed to get an estimate on replacing the bezel and the drivers door actuator on my C5. After providing my info, I was told I would get a call later on in the day. I felt really good about the exchange and was told I would get a call later on that day. So I waited on their call so I could get the estimate and schedule the repairs I did not receive a call on Tuesday. I was still feeling ok about it, I figured maybe they just got busy and they would call Wednesday, I always give folks the benefit if the doubt, that is just my nature. No big deal. Well, there was no call on Wednesday either. Thursday morning I had the thought, maybe I didn't write my phone number clearly, and the no call was on me. So, I called the office and asked if they had a chance to get my estimate, The receptionist confirmed my information was correct and said someone would call me later on that day. So, obviously due to the fact that I am taking the time to leave a review, there has still been no call as of 11am Friday morning. This is what I don't understand, people accept these jobs, they expect and accept the paychecks, yet they don't want to do their job. So these same types of reviews that were put here before, still the same issue. They don't return calls to get more business. Makes no sense to me. So, if you want to have the same experience I did, please note that this is just how they do business, and do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Got a simple inspection and they were 100% transparent and honest about their findings. Super friendly and will be having them do all future maintenance. 10/10 recommend.
Unfortunately I have called this shop on 3 separate occasions, first, speaking to a receptionist who said I would receive a call back, then leaving a voicemail the next week, then calling again the week after and speaking to the receptionist again. Never received any sort of contact from them in return, and have no intention of trying a fourth time. The 2 star is only because the receptionist herself was pleasant in our interactions.
I would NEVER recommend this mechanic shop!!!! They quoted me a price of $2,500.00 and it turned into $4,300.00 and the initial problem was never completed....he makes so many promises to fix the issue at hand,but the promises are all empty, In my opinion he deserves no stars but theirs no option for that vette owners beware
He was honest fair ,very professional,and very nice building and everyone was very knowledgeable.if I lived in Melbourne I would have left my Corvette with them longer ..I would say to my friends and family take you Corvette to them for anything if you want right ,and good prices ....
I dealt with Bob for many years and previously in different areas that I've lived dealt with other dealers and mechanics who fix Corvettes. Bob is the best of all that I have encountered. There's very few take backs when your vehicle is fixed from Bob. You can trust him as I do.
Tried multiple times to get work done on my vette. They forgot appointments and never called back on other occasions. Lucky to have so much business to be so careless with potential customers. Lucky for me i found the problem myself and can do most other work myself

I being trying to do business with them by servicing my Vette on their shop but I never received any follow up on my requests, I contacted them 9 or 12 times, in person 3 times they created a ticket twice, I called and talked multiple times left voice mails, emails, I never received a call back or respond on any way, the second star is because I am confused on the way they do business.
Stay away from this place ... Very shady operation!!!! Stated that they performed work and replaced parts... Parts were never replaced. Still had factory parts in. The bolts/nuts where the parts were supposed to have been replaced never had a socket or wrench mark on them. Had to find this info out after taking my Corvette to another mechanic.
Update: I'm dropping my rating from four to two stars. After an initial good encounter with them, things got worse with the second visit. Following a very minor accident (that was not my fault, BTW) I brought my '06 back to the Vette Doctor. It took well more than three months for their exceptionally expensive repairs, some of which they could not coordinate with the insurance company, so I had to foot part of the bill. During that time, they were nearly impossible to reach for a status, (don't even try on a Monday) did not return calls or messages and there were several problems that needed attention after they were finally finished. It had to go back the very next day. It was painfully obvious no one gave it a thorough check before they said it was finished. Yes, they addressed those problems, but I've still got ongoing issues with their work and my car has never been the same. However, I refuse to take it back because I'm not sure when I'll see it again. I won't be going back to the Vette Doctor and sadly, can't recommend that anyone else does either.
Shady. Brought it in for simple repairs ( for his expertise). They held the car over several months. Did not answer the phone nor return messages. The work they did was satisfactory but the labor rates for work done was outrageous. No written estimates , did work I didn’t authorize.
These guys are Great, very neat and careful work ,they really know corvettes, I met with Bob and keith about some issues i was having with my c6 they took care of the problem perfectly, they treated me like we have known each other for years highly recommended!!
Forgot to leave a review, quality work and really stand up people. Left my project c4 to get a new cluster and some repairs and they did an awesome job. Even held my car for me when I couldn't pick it up, not only that they got it started again so I could make it back home! Awesome guys and awesome work.

I've called this business over six times in the past two months. No answer and no return calls to the messages I keep leaving. Contacted them on Facebook and saw they read my message regarding my Corvette; no response. I should have read these reviews first. Off to a dealership I go for my work. I'd rather pay them and at least get a response back.
The folks at the Vette Doctor are very friendly and helpful. They are not always trying to push unneeded service or repairs. The techs really know Corvettes.
I'm a retired Soldier working in Afghanistan, who proudly support and recommend Bob (Vette Doc) to anyone that's looking for top quality and customer satisfaction. I was taken advantage of by a Auto repair shop before someone recommended him to me. My custom 78 C10 was freshly restored and the repair shop that was suppose to be the best in Jacksonville set my engine on fire and destroyed a brand new crate engine. Also burned the complete wiring harness. They attempted to cover the damage up by giving me the ran around saying the crate engine was defected. Bob repair my 78 C10 and took care of a US Veteran like no other. Thanks to Bob and his crew my vehicle is a show truck. Thank you Bob.
Bob is great. 100% honesty will save money that dwarfs a shop with a lower labor rate. Bob does the highest quality work, and tries to keep the final price down. That's why he's busy.
Oh, I know a sour grapes single star rater had the car break a connecting rod (and lost oil), after ingesting water. Water doesn't compress, maybe they didn't know that. He only guarantees above water use. LOL
The vette doctor is great. They take great care of the cars. People complain about the price they charge to fix it, well if you buy a corvette don't expect it to be cheap common since. Bob and his wife are great and the crew does amazing work. I would choose no other shop. Keep up the amazing work vette crew!! :)
Awesome people! They took great care of my Corvette! I highly recommend them! Busy busy shop, hard to keep up with phone calls, but they do answer! And they come through!
This shop is very clean, busy but they really take care of you.. the owner is great and friendly..they fix it right the first time with very fair pricing..i would never take my car anywhere else the vetter doctor is amazing. Thank you so much bob and the vette crew!
Clowns is right! ! Did body damage to my vette and refused to fix it. Paid them to fix ac and I got two use it once. ..no longer works. Paid them to fix loose steering column and it's still loose.
