I'm embarrassed by how long it's taken me to leave this review, after Alex was so timely, detailed, and professional. I considered my situation an emergency, living out of state and my son at college in central Fl, with car that's engine just spun a bearing. Both my son and I are capable car guys but with the car a 1000 miles away and his finals around the corner, we needed help. I contacted Cor-Auto looking for a replacement engine and Alex was the perfect contact. He had an engine that was perfect for what I needed; low mileage, included all the components, and was priced fairly. Some might say that I was just lucky to find the right engine, and they might be right, but that's not really why I'm providing this review. Alex didn't just sell me an engine, he became a partner in getting my son's car on the road. Alex: - did the research to ensure a proper fit - managed the process of getting the engine ready to transport - hired a driver to make the delivery, driving 2hrs each way, a challenge because it's further than local drivers go, but not far enough to make shipping practical. With everything under control, Alex worked closely with our mechanic to get the delivery scheduled and to assure the proper equipment was available for the unload. Once unloaded and unwrapped, the low mileage motor was exactly as described; maybe even better. Then, after the hand off, Alex continued to checked in to see how the engine swap was progressing. Well my son and his car arrived back home for the summer, and when I looked under the hood, I was so thankful I'd made the decision to replace the engine instead of replacing the car, under the hood looks brand new! Being a service provider myself, I'm most impressed when I run into other professionals who recognize the personal and business benefit generated through practicing"the art of building relationships" instead of just trying to beat the other guy in "the art of the deal". The whole experience with Alex at Cor-Auto was refreshing and encouraging in a time I've come to expect so little from most people.
