I had an absolute nightmare experience with my elderly father's mini van. After 3 months, 4 other mechanics, and $1,300 in parts that didn't fix the problem Chris was able to diagnose and actually fix the problem for a fraction of the price other mechanics had already charged us to not fix the problem. I called the shop in a pinch, and the owner got my car in right away! He took a look at my car and realized it was a lot more issues than originally anticipated. He took the time to break it down and explain to me what all was wrong and what all needed to be fixed. We disgusted a price and it was done within the day. He was very efficient, very to the point and very knowledgeable. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe for me and my kids! The price was great for everything he fixed, the car runs smooth as butter, and I was treated with such kindness will 100% recommend him to anybody with car problems. 10/10.
Brought my daughter's car here and did excellent job so brought another vehicle for my son. Car had been sitting for a couple years now due to a noise I couldn't pin point. I had him replace the drive shaft which didn't fix it. He was able t pin point the issue and get us on the road. Great job and where I now bring my vehicle's.

Chris did great work on my 2015 Chevrolet equinox. I've taken it to other shops multiple times trying to get the steering wheel to stop shaking spent thousands. Took it to Chris and he fixed it with no problem and he didnt charge me nearly as much as the other shops have. Super friendly and chill guy I highly recommend and won't be taking my car to anyone but Chris.

Say hello to your new Mechanic! Definitely is mine. Chris was recommended by a work colleague after the dealership would not honor the warranty for my EGR valve replacement at only 45K miles (100K mile powertrain warranty). Dealership wanted $1660 to fix. I took it to Chris at Overpeck Auto Repair and he diagnosed it as the same EGR valve issue. Here is where it gets interesting... I told him about the Dealership charging me $240 for their diagnostic. "That's steep for a diagnosis and it SHOULD be covered under your powertrain warranty because you have to take it off the motor. It's not a simple wearable part like a spark plug is" he said. He continued "Find out the codes they pulled up and I'll check the Technical Service Bulletines on your car to verify it's covered. Plus I'll send you the codes my diagnostic machine shows."
So I asked for the codes and sent them to Chris. They sent me codes that DIDN'T even pertain to the EGR valve but to the Mass Air Flow system, even though their paperwork showed it was the EGR they'd replace for the $1660. His codes WERE for the EGR valve AND matched the Service Bulletine with a note saying *Normal Warranty Applies. Needless to say, I was outraged at them lying to me about the warranty and then charging me for their diagnostic.
Chris advised me to take it to a seperate Hyundai dealership with the printed out Service Bulletine showing it's covered. Long story short, the 2nd dealership diagnosed it (now for the 3rd time) and said ''If it's under warranty we don't charge for diagnostic." I got a call back saying "Yes it's under warranty and we came up with the same codes you did." IT GETS BETTER- "We also see you need new rotors and pads and we will do them for $720 while we have it here" I replied "It's way too soon for new rotors and I do not over ride the brakes on my vehicles so I'll get a second opinion." I called Chris and relayed the info to which he said it's too soon for new rotors but he'd give me a price if they in fact need replaced. $250 for rotors and service if I should want them done, he said.
Conclusion- Chris saved me $1660 and now I can go back to the 1st dealership to get my $240 back for their untruthful diagnostic practices. (They took my money and ran) Plus if and when I need my rotors and pads done, he has my business and customer loyalty from here on out. It pays to be honest and work with integrity.
