I had bought all four of my tires at Walmart and had the tire protection plan. Today while driving home, I was losing air rapidly due to a large screw in my tire and I barely made it to this location’s auto center. This is the only car I have and I explained this to VENCE who said he was the manager and explained to him that I would be willing to wait but I have no choice because it’s not gonna make it home. He simply said he’s too busy and he’s not gonna do it I will never buy tires again from Walmart because this is a service that you get luckily, I went across the street to tire plus and even though they were booked solid, the guy stated if I would be willing to wait about 45 minutes he would work me in and not only did he repair it. He did it for free So if you’re in the area and need something done, I suggest you go across the street tire place because Walmart doesn’t care about their customers
We purchased two brand new tires on Walmart.com, and scheduled for them to be installed at this Walmart. I've done it before on my other cars, no issues (other than snide mechanics telling me I didn't park in the right spot and laughed at me even though I was following directions in my email from Walmart as to where to go.) My husband brought the car up this time and in less than 15 minutes, we were told they couldn't do the tire change because "our lugnuts were cracked". Refused to work on it. We would have gladly purchased new lugnuts if that was the issue. But I digress...we ended up taking it to a reputable tire professional shop not far away from Walmart, and they said no, they were NOT cracked and nothing wrong with the lugnuts. They said and I quote, "Yeah, we hear that about that Walmart Auto Center all the time. We get a lot of customers from there.". So Walmart, you are losing customers to other area businesses because either your staff is too lazy to get lugnuts off for a tire service, or they don't know what they are doing.
And after just reading the other reviews on here, it seems I'm not the only one. Hopefully the district manager sees this and does something. Especially given all the new store renovations they are doing currently.
So this happened in december 2024 i had an appointment i had a 2003 ford expedition how odd that not even 15 min they cancel the appointment and say the oil filter was seized and damaged i look under the truck just to see the damn filter had not a single scratch that just show you guys are lazy and dont wanna do ur jobs
I don't leave a lot of reviews but this service center in hamilton is ridiculous, I'm getting Tires and I'm not having a problem.But I've seen 2 people walk up and the Technicians refused service on their car,1st was A tire rotation and they said there was more tread on the back than the front so they would not rotate them, The second one was insane Where they would not drive the man's car'
onto the lift. Because his airbag light was on and they said it might pop out when they drive over the lift,HUH. Either walmart has some insane policies or these people are looking to get out of doing work.
I went to this location after ordering tires and payed for the mounting and even called a week prior to ask if they would put the tires on the rims as long as I brought them in, and I told them that the tires that was on the rims was too big. I was ordering tires to fit. I was told on the phone that I would just have to sign a waiver Well, I got there today and Cynthia who is in the front refused. My service told me because they have bigger tires on it 195 65 15s I would have to get the same size I tried to explain to them that it would not fit and I was getting 175 55 15 so I could use them they acted like they didn’t want to help me so I called a sister store across town and explained the situation they told me to bring them to them if they didn’t wanna do their jobs, they could’ve just said something
I had a great experience! I took my car here because my tire had a nail in it . I was greeted by Marie and she had the started job immediately. The tire was fixed by Mark he fixed my tire and had me on my way fast.
Went to drop my car off for a oil change. They open at 7am got there at 720am. Lady said they had appointments all day starting at 8am, one lady was outside smoking and she couldn't have knocked out my oil change in 40 mins. This walmart is rude, horrible and lazy.
They got me in when another service center said they put me on the schedule, and then the day of could not fit and in, and they got me on the books and out so fast!
They did an amazing job and there service was great. I will away take my car to the Hamilton Ohio Automotive department... thanks for your caring service!!!
I felt like it took too long to get an answer. I guess they were looking up answers that a more seasoned tech would know of the top off their head. When shops are charging 150 to 200 an hour for labor...I don't need someone slow.
Called in to ask if they could work me in for a flat repair. The lady says yes if I get in the next 15 minutes. I get there well within the time indicated, and she says no, not sure. Let me ask the techs. She comes back and says no, we had three people come in suddenly. We close at 7pm. Really? I worked in tires, and my employer didn't turn away customers until the very last minute. This workforce today disgusts me, lazy and weak.
Today this place just put the icing on the cake!!! As my wife was driving home she got a huge screw in the back passenger tire. We have road hazard warranty and attempt to contact Walmart, mind you this is before 6pm no one answers the phone, so my wife and sister in law drive to Walmart risking their lives to have this issue checked out!!! Mind you they walk back to the auto care center to find 2 employees sitting there one on the floor and one on like 3 or 4 tires! The lady advises they have no tech on duty but look at this picture I’m about to share can someone tell me this isn’t a tech??? Then my sister in law snaps this picture and he ups and leaves mind you this is at 6:12pm and she says he gets off at 6pm why’s he still just sitting there??? Also don’t ever go there to get your oil changed either they will mysteriously forget to tighten the oil filter or blame it on a faulty one!!! Walmart auto care you will no longer have my business!!!
Fun family friendly hygienic atmosphere full of laughters, goofs and thrills. The service greeters often have cake and candy that they pass out to customers. They open at 6am sharp contrary to their listing hour.
Awesome folks! Called for an emergency replacement of a few tires on a truck. They answered right away and had everything done within 2 hours of calling them. Hands down one of the best I've seen.
We got 4 tires we needed at a good price. 2 tires for each truck We're in stock.Great customer service and they were installed fast. They even check my car door info to be sure I bought the right tires for my truck. Still waiting on a phone call from them for the other 4. Hope to hear back soon.
Sadly oil change prices have went up from 3 months agoBut everything has everywhere.
There were a few cars ahead of me that needed more things like tires Etc
But I was still quoted only 45-60mins. Surprisingly it only took maybe 40-45mins. Staff was polite as well.
Service has gone down over the last few years. They open and close whenever they feel like it (often opening three hours late). I’ve learned to double check their work… before changing my oil they made me sign a paper acknowledging that my oil was “dangerously low” when they’re the only ones that I ever go to for an oil change.
Just be careful and Pay attention to the work that was done according to the paperwork that you were given for the job that you paid for. I’m not going to bash them just make sure that your job is done correctly and your car is in a safe state for you to drive.
Being a woman generally Auto Care personnel tend to try to take advantage but, this did not happen at Walmart they even offered me a better deal. I hope you will have a joyful experience too.
Some of the worst customer service I have ever received. The man at the counter cannot handle his job, and gets overly stressed out if there is more than a single customer in line. He acts as though anything he has to do is the biggest headache. His attitude towards customers is horrible. Every person in line was treated to the same disrespectful and condescending tone. I would not recommend coming here, and we will not be back.

I tried to have my car serviced but the gentleman locked the door. Its currently 7:07 on a sunday....poor customer care and very rude. I will not be suggesting them nor will i ever return.
I only came in for a tire this time. No big deal. I live real close so this is the go to place for the business I work at. Always have good customer service. Guys in there always seem to be real chill. I think WalMart as a company is awful, but this tire center in particular is solid. Haven't had an issue with them thus far.
Went in for 4 new tires at 2pm they close at 7pm and the guy at the counter said they were closing early because they were short staffed. Even though there were five guys standing there with only 1 car in the garage.
very great place for tires and oil changes all certified techs that know what there doin.as well the lowest price in town check them out open 7 days a week 7am to 6pm everyday
