Big thanks to the crew at The Shop. I've consistently had great experiences with auto repairs at this establishment. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, and always communicate clearly. They recently brought my 1968 Cadillac back to life with a complete overhaul, and I'm more than happy with the results – they went above and beyond and were very reasonable on pricing. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. If you're looking for a friendly and trustworthy auto shop in the Hamilton/Fairfield area, you cannot go wrong with The Shop.
I literally had my truck looked at by 2 different mechanics who both told me it was my Fuel Pump & Spark Plugs they wanted $2,000 I had my vehicle towed here because they only wanted $900 with a lifetime warranty on the part and 30 day labor warranty. But they did their own Diagnostics first come to find out nothing was wrong with my truck except something was frozen from the cold it only cost me $35???? Will Forever Take My Car Here
Had front brakes done upper control, arms, front end suspension. Get the truck back break reservoir was. Full to the top with brake fluid right Front driver's side, making all kinds of noise Now, calipers came loose. None of my ball joints, Or grease fittings appear to have any grease, put in them. How do I know I took it off to look at the work they completed and noticed no grease. And 2 of the Greece fittings, fell off where they didn't tighten them. up upper control, arms. Cam Boats came loose, so obviously they didn't torque nothin down to specs. In all kinds of grease on my front bumper. That grease probably should've went into where the grease fittings go. But no, they had it smeared all under my bumper. Yes, they're 70 bucks an hour, but I guess that's what you get a little more attention to detail. It goes a long way $715
Excellent mechanic, brought 2 used cars I was going to buy here and they found just enough things to persuade me not to buy them, saved me a lot of money, great place. They also let me drive their old school Pontiac GTO around the lot. Fun times
I've always had good experience with Roberts my vehicle is down there now being worked on they've always repaired and got my vehicle out of there in a timely manner
It’s called “The Shop” now. The guy that helped me got me in the same day and was able Get my New A/C (Compressor) all charged up, from the ground up, all for a very reasonable price. He did it while I waited and it was done in a short time. I would definitely recommend going there. The guys name was Mike. He took over Roberts The phone number above works
Best Honest place to take your car they do not rip you off, they are up front with whats going on with your car and it only cost $10.00 for them to check out the car with their machine to see whats wronge with your vehicle, iam so happy to do busy with them. I been going to them over 14 years now
My family and i have been going to Dwayne for years, best mechanic in the tri-county area! He does honest work for fair prices! Never had him give my car back with out the issue fixed or with new issues! Highly reccommend, 10/10!

The best place in town to get your car worked on. Reasonable prices and the mechanics are professionals and know what they are doing. Super nice and friendly.
My jeep has been there for almost 2 months and I just keep getting the run around when I call them to check on progress! I think I may have to pick it up and take it somewhere where my business is valued!
I took my car here to get the O2 sensor fixed. The AutoZone report said, bank one sensor one. I gave them the report from AutoZone. After they fixed it, I picked up my car and about 5 minutes after driving it, the check engine light came on. I called and Robert told me to bring it by and he would clear the code. (His shop is about 20 minutes from my house) I did that and the very next day the light cane back on. I called again and was told that the light would go off after awhile. After a couple months, I took my car to AutoZone again and the report said, bank one sensor one. I took the car back to Robert’s. They said that they fixed it. Went to pick it up and before I got home, the light came back on. I finally gave up, took it to Uriel’s in Fairfield and they said that Robert’s bent my manifold, but never replaced the sensor... So, Uriel’s ACTUALLY FIXED IT, and after multiple days, no issues, YAY! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ROBERT’s, instead, check out Uriel’s!
After 15 wasted days of them having my car I was told by Dwayne that they didn’t know what was wrong, and didn’t know how to fix my car. During these 15 days I was not contacted by them one time. Not once. I had to call them for updates, which I did once a week,
I got answers like “we’ll get it in tomorrow or the next day”. I waited patiently. No call. So on my second call I was told “we’ll get it in tomorrow”. I waited for a call. Nothing. So I finally called again to be told they couldn’t do anything. Before I dropped my car off at Roberts I called to make they serviced my make of car, BMW. They said yes. I only took my car to them because they are close to home and because of their Google reviews. I suggest looking elsewhere for your automotive service needs. If you drive an import I suggest going to Alpine Imports on Seward Road. The difference in customer service and communication is night and day. Thank you Roberts for wasting two weeks of my life with no car and false hopes.
Awesome group of workers here, did great job on my brakes & master cylinder replacement. My sister has bragged about them for years, so did my x in 06. So I gave them a trial and I'll be taking my Monte back in once my funds build back up for the front end work it needs. The prices were very reasonable, actually shocked me with all I had them do. 100% recommend this shop to all. Job well done :)
This business is the greatest. I have been coming here for a while now and I never have any doubts about their service repairs or the integrity of every one of their employees. You know that at no time will you ever be pressured into any unnecessary repairs. In fact I've even been told that I don't need something done more times than I remember. They will keep you safe and get you where you need to be.
Nothing fancy so don't expect it just good service all the time!
Roberts has worked on my cars for years, also other members of my family. Honest, Quality Work, Very Reasonable, Polite and just all around great people. You won't be sorry!
