A truck ran into the back of our car while we were waiting at the light near Pro Auto Service. The bumper was hanging off so we slowly drove the car to their shop, where they fixed the bumper and topped off our tires for $20 in under 10 minutes. Really appreciate their quickness and kindness on what was otherwise a very stressful evening.
I received a great service on my car from the time I made appointment until completion of my Lexus break service. The staff and technicians were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I appreciate being able to have my Nissan SUV towed here recently, to see what was going on with overheating and a persistent coolant leak. The same week it was dropped off with them, it was repaired and ready for me by Friday. There were some things that needed to be replaced due to wear and tear and mileage, such as the radiator, water pump, timing belt, and heater core. I also loved that they showed me the actual parts they had removed and replaced. Seems to have helped a great deal as my SUV feels almost like new. I'd totally visit them again for any other problems with my vehicle, especially engine issues, and for routine maintenance.

Is hard to find a great shop with great honest mechanics these days but Pro auto services is the best by far around the DMV.
Was the only place we could get a MD inspection appointment on short notice. They charged $50 more than other places. Estimate of necessary repairs was nearly double what it cost to get the same repairs at another location. Everyone was very nice, efficient, and communicative, but prices were high.
PROS: Very friendly, gave me a good price, let me bring my own parts and did the job close to closing time.
CON: They stripped a lug stud in my wheel, which usually means they used a pneumatic wrench to put the lug nuts back on instead of a torque wrench. That's a lazy shortcut that you're not supposed to use because it often results in this problem. The only solution is to cut through the nut that's stuck to the spinning lug with a metal cutting disk and install a new lug stud and nut (which normal people would pay a shop to fix, but I bought the tool and did it myself).
Really great staff here. Tried to make a trip to NC when my starter failed. After many many delays with a towing company, these guys took me 5 minutes before closing with very reasonable repair costs. Highly recommend!
Charged unnecessary lift fees to re-inspect items (indicator light, loose front bumper, and phone holder on the window) that should have been visually inspected (and not dinged in the first place according to other mechanics), should have been free to re-inspect visually per state rules. Will not be returning.
We’ve used Pro Auto several times and each time they could have easily uncharged us and we wouldn’t have known the difference. Each time, they told us the fix was simple and sent us on our way.
Used these guys a few times. They are priced reasonably and will work with you if you bring in your own parts. On a previous visit they were not very knowledgeable when it came to diagnosing a check engine light problem another shop was easily able to tell me and NOT have to charge me the $85 fee.
This past time I took my car in for an oil change and they completely missed the fact water had been coming into my engine, which its an easy tell from the picture. This pic is after an oil change with them. They were not busy when I took this in so long questioning their thoroughness on the work they do now.
Its no wonder the few good shops are swamped and places like these always have time.
They replaced my engine in October. My oil light came on, I added oil. 4 days later, my oil light came on again. I took it over, fearing bad things. It was a filter. Easy peasy. Whew! He fit me right in. I love this place.
These guys were more than fair with me. I recently did some of my own auto work and caused a secondary issue by mistake (I messed up my Honda's axle while replacing control arms.) The guys at Pro Auto Services were able to test drive the car and diagnose the problem quickly and correctly. They were fast, honest, and never lectured me for my mistake. I went to Pro Auto Services because a friend of mine recommended them based on their honesty fair prices. I'm glad I took that friend's advice.
Great place! Was in from out of town and had car trouble. They fixed the problem within a few hours so we could get home. Great service, wonderful people! Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful repair shop. I put a deposit down for a part and two days later I went in for the repair and they quoted me the best price around the area with no hidden charge. Another time I ran into some trouble removing my old license plate due to excessive rusting, took the car in and the guy was super friendly and offered his help to remove it. I felt like I made a new friend! Recommend highly:-)
We were in the D.C. Area from Georgia -- our Land Cruiser's igniter coils burnt out in a Friday eve at 5 pm. Wilfredo the owner and his team worked us in and had the car ready by 2 pm Saturday. Excellent service, compassionate to our situation. Highly recommend!!
So I had an issue with my starter I have a Honda Accord. I brought my car in and they were so accommodating. I purchased my part but it was the wrong starter they assisted me with getting a new part that day and installed it the whole ordeal took about 3 hours the price was so reasonable. This is my new auto stop for my baby. You guys are amazing. I'm recommending pro auto service to everyone I know

Trustworthy and knowledgeable
Passing by from out of town. I experienced and issue with my family minivan. I stop at a different shop and ask to have our minivan check. We spend and hour for them to tell us a few problems and cost. We did not feel confident with them so we left. Few miles down we saw Pro Auto Service and gave them a try. From the first impression we knew they were knowledgeable since they were asking the right questions. They took the vehicle for a test drive and finally put the vehicle on their lift. In less than 30 min the young gentleman explain to me the issue and showed me where, and how. We were impress, and knowing this gave us the confident on proceedings with the work. The price was well reasonable, but we felt we paid for knowledge and trustworthy. 5 stars all around.
I live around the corner from Pro, so this is very convenient for me. Even if I had to drive 30mins to get there it would be worth it though.
They always finish on time. They never try to stretch the budget. They show you what the problem is and why they think it happened and they give you options for how to fix it.
In working with them for about 10 years on three cars, we have never had to bring a job back to them. Nice, honest people here that know what they are doing and will treat you right.
