I’m giving Firestone a solid 5 out of 5 — they absolutely earned it. From start to finish, everything was smooth and professional. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what needed to be done without any pressure or upselling. The service itself was fast, thorough, and done right the first time. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the updates while my vehicle was being worked on. Overall, this was one of the best auto service experiences I’ve had — I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to others.

I brought my car to this Firestone because my check engine light was on. After their diagnostic, they told me I needed to replace the exhaust flex pipe and recommended replacing the O2 sensors, giving me an estimate of about $1,500. I decided to get a second opinion from another shop. Their inspection showed the flex pipe was completely fine with no leaks and that only the O2 sensors needed to be replaced. Firestone had quoted me about $800 for the O2 sensor repair alone, but the second shop fixed the issue for $186 and the check engine light is now gone (with a 1-year warranty). Based on my experience, I’d recommend getting a second opinion before approving major repairs here.

Updated: 02/24/2026 The group of folks who work here and run the place are so very cool--precise, patient, welcoming, down-to-earth, multi-lingual. They helped get me through the MD safety inspection--what an expensive pain that all was--grateful for the good work and patience! Firestone seems to get a bad rap, but I don't get it: at every store I've been to, the folks working there are busting their asses--this store was no different. Jose--the guy managing the front of house, who got me in on short notice and guided me through the safety inspection--was exceptional: patient, knowledgeable, attentive, easygoing! He took so much time to explain the intricacies of the inspection and stepped me through what I needed to do to pass. Grateful for him and, of course, the tech who did all the good work expediently. I'll be back!

Anthony at Firestone provided exceptional customer service when he replaced two of my tires. He paid great attention to detail, made sure everything was done properly, and took the time to explain the work. The whole process was smooth and professional. Highly recommend asking for Anthony if you need tire service.

I had an amazing experience at Firestone thanks to Anthony. From the moment I brought my car in for service, he was professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of the recommendations for my vehicle and broke down the benefits of staying on top of regular and preventative maintenance. I really appreciated how he didn’t just tell me what needed to be done, he explained why it mattered. Anthony walked me through the primary functions of the suspension parts being replaced and made sure I understood the potential risks and safety concerns that can come from neglecting that kind of maintenance. He answered every question I had without rushing and made sure I felt comfortable and informed about the work being done. His honesty, transparency, and attention to detail reassured me that my vehicle was in excellent hands and truly reinforced my trust in Firestone as a business. Rose was the person at the counter who I interacted with. She was knowledgeable, efficient and kept me updated every step of the way. I was there for a MD inspection. The only upgrade I would have liked was the ability to make an appointment.

Jose at Firestone Tires did a great job. He recommended the right all-weather tires, explained everything clearly, and had everything completed in record time. Fair price, no nonsense, and excellent service. He saved me both time and money. Highly recommended.

I came in the other day for a free tire rotation. Since I bought 4 tires from this location last year. They said it would be a hour and half wait. So I dropped it off. Not too long after they called me and said they had some recommendations. They said I needed brakes all around because of heat build up and other stuff. I told them I got the car 20k miles ago and the brakes were new when I got it. I asked for the specific measurements off the pads. They said 1mm. Which is dangerously in the red zone. They also tried selling me other stuff. I declined all work and took it to another shop which told me I didn’t need brakes yet and mine were still good. Don’t take your car here. They rip you off. Always get a second opinion. They also said my battery failed. Which when I saw the test results it said “good need recharge” but I got my battery less then a year ago.

Went in for an easy job. Got a phone call a couple of hours later from the shop saying the requested job was done but the battery was nearly dead and needed replacement. Told the guy that battery was actually replaced a few months ago at another Firestone shop and still under warranty. The guy immediately backed off and said he made a mistake. Is it mistake or GREED? Too LAZY to check the maintenance records? UNPROFESSIONAL behaviors like this are reflected in the low ratings here and lead to further loss of business including ours.

If I could put 0 stars .. I would. I’m typically used to leaving good reviews . However, that is not the case today . I just sat in this firestone for 3-4 hrs for absolutely nothing . I came in today and told a worker I needed a new battery . They stated they would test mines to make sure that was case and change the battery . That was not done . The whole staff is unprofessional . Honestly don’t e be know what’s the point of having a CFNA account . Won’t be back to this location.

Made my appointment online for 8:00am. Greeted by a Firestone associate who checked me in. I did wait for my vehicle while it was being serviced. I had recently bought a used car. So the front tires needed to be replaced. The rear tires were already two Firestone tires. I also needed a front-end alignment. The whole process was completed under two hours. A different associate helped me check out. Both Firestone associates were very nice and professional. Very pleased with the whole process. Thank You! On a Side Note: the waiting area and bathrooms are in need of a remodeling/makeover. It's showing it's age. It's stuck in the 70's-80's.

Besides the parking lot being so full, that there’s no where you park except in front of other cars, they had a vehicle illegally parked in the only handicap spot, and it has sat there for several days. It was there when I pulled in to wait for my husband to bring his car to be dropped off on 12/31, which my husband and I both are handicapped and Disabled Veterans, with mobility issues. The same vehicle was still illegally parked in the only handicap parking spot on 1/2, when we returned to pick up my husband’s vehicle to take it to the dealership service department for his wheel, who actually discovered he had 2 cracked rims, instead of just the one that we were told about by Firestone. Because of the lack of available handicap parking, we will not be returning to this location and have filed a formal complaint with District & Regional Management for violating the American’s with Disabilities Act because ease of access and lack of accommodations for handicap people. They also illegally parked a car in the access aisle when both spots are clearly marked on the pavement and with signage. The employees at this location don’t even care that they did it, and keep doing it. The don’t care about any customers who are handicap.

They tried to rip me off big time. I brought in a flat tire with a nail in the middle of the tread to be fixed. They said it was so dry rotted it would blow up if they tried to fix it. They also said I needed 4 new tires (despite the fact all my 4 tires had less than 14 thousand miles on them.) They gave me an estimate for $958. I declined and drove to Spaid's Sunoco on Veirs Mill Road. Mr. Spaid said the tire was not dry rotted and fixed it. And he said I did not need any new tires. Beware of this place especially if you are a woman and an older woman.

I have been a loyal customer since 2012, in Seatte WA. My experience with this particular branch was awful. I was literally threatened by staff that they were going to remove my windshield wiper blades because i questioned there pricing...... and i was correct, they had not applied the discount they promised. I had a 3pm appointment, checked in at 2:55pm, and my car was not pulled into the bay top get worked on until 4:45 pm. The only person I actually trusted in Firestone at that location was the Mechanic himself. He was honest, professional, and competent. I am shocked and appalled at the costumer service, their threatening tone, and out right misinformation. Never Again at this location (Wheaton MD). Stay away!

The customer service was on point. Walking into the business, I was greeted within seconds. The energy (environment) was welcoming. The Firestone employee was pleasant and very professional, as I gave him the information/reason for repairs needed on my car. He confirmed my initial appointment, to make sure we were on the same page. In addition, Firestone called me twice to update me on additional needed repairs (not many) and also contacted me as to when I could pick up my vehicle. Picking up my vehicle in the late afternoon, again, a different Firestone employee that I interacted with finished the pick up/payment process for my vehicle and he was professional and pleasant, as well. Both employees were aged between 21-27 (I am guessing). I have been to Firestone once before about 2 years ago and surprisingly, I had the same interaction and experience. Firestone is now my go-to for all my repair needs. I hope this energy and business/customer interaction continues in the near future.

I’m not sure what the internal issues are at this location, but I had a 12 PM appointment and was told the service would take no more than two hours. I was still waiting at 4:02 PM for my car to be completed. This experience was extremely disappointing, and based on today, I cannot recommend this location. It appeared that other services may have been prioritized over scheduled appointments, which defeats the purpose of booking a time. After a four-hour delay, I was only offered a $10 courtesy discount, which did not feel reflective of the inconvenience. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience moving forward.

Great service the clerk who check me in worked me in on a busy Saturday, I appreciate him for that. Above and beyond service Going out the door the clerk who check me out didn't know I'm a 15 year member and didn't know Firestone accepts Tireplus credit card but he was nice none the less.

Took my car in for an inspection and oil change. Dropped the car off at 9 am and went to pick it up at closing time. I payed and went to look for my car, it was still in the repair bay. I had to get into the car and drive it off. I am not even sure if they changed my oil. The didn’t pass inspection and they gave me the work list. The work list was about $3500. 2 days later the oil light comes on, then my car starts overheating and sputtering, the check engine light and a wrench light came on. I never even seen that wrench light before. the car was driving completely different. I took it to another mechanic and he is saying that coolant is leaking into my engine and the engine is misfiring, now I need a new engine. The car was completely fine, never overheated, no leaks before I took my car to Firestone. Don’t take your car to this place.

Great customer service and timely service! I took my car in for an oil change and a general checkup. Everything was done promptly, and the team communicated clearly throughout the process. They also pointed out a few things that might need attention in the future, which I really appreciated. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently.

I was quoted a price for a lifetime alignment on my 2023 Tesla model Y long range. I gave my vin number to confirm the price. When I returned to pick up my car they said they messed up and the price was $150 more. They said I could pay the higher price or pay for a single alignment instead. I feel bait and switched. I paid for the lifetime alignment but I will never do any other business with Firestone ever again.

Shout out and sincere thanks to the team at Firestone in Wheaton, especially service manager Joan Argueta, who took the time to ask what I needed and delivered outstanding service. They fixed our tires, adjusted the alignment, and found the perfect headlights for our Kia Niro EV. Joan, Rose, and Anthony were patient, professional, kind, and quick. I usually go to the Honda dealership for maintenance but there are always delays. The last time I went they fixed something and broke something and it was 2 weeks of no car. I told them something was wrong with my left rear tire and they blew me off. My windshield wipers haven't worked in 5 years and they said they couldn't get some random part. You all fixed everything. Thank you.

Man I can't sing the praises of these guys enough! Got us in on short notice on a Sunday as my wife and I were preparing for a 9+ hour drive. Their staff member Anthony was very helpful They replaced a tire that got a massive bubble and were very quick and efficient. I am so thankful they accommodated us, especially since they knew we had a very long road trip across multiple states. 5/5 stars for sure

As long as Mr. Adonia is my tech, I am damn happy with the services. Hes my go to guy. Don't trust other techs - speaking from bad experience. Also the front desk staff could be trained to be more professional and not to make up stories and excuses to change our appointments just because they feel like doing it. Pls. Keep in mind, Customers had to work around their schedules to bring the vehicle to the shop. So trying to changing appointments on the fly over the phone without any valid reasosn is not considered ethical. But I'm happy the person who wanted to change my schedule complied when I mentioned to her that I have already spoken to my tech Mr. Adonia prior scheduling.

First time going here; the customer service was good with professional and friendly staff, but it took 2 hours to get a basic oil change completed, WITH a weekday morning appointment at 9am. Most shops take 20min-1hr max. Why schedule an appointment if the car won't be worked on until 1-1:30 hours later -- efficient shops schedule based on capacity. Also, there were grease stains left on my center console. First time going here, and unless I need to or they have some odd deal ( 5 qt of synthetic cost me around $115 before a limited time coupon), unfortunately won't be going back. They seem to have enough business, so if you don't mind the wait it seems like a reasonable shop, although check other reviews for other services.

Some days a go i went to this place and almost forget write this: The cups on my tires were new and I went to this place (because it was recommended to me) to put new tires on my car. When I got it back, they had left me a defective rim that I wanted to send in for repair, and if that weren't enough, they ruined the cup on the tire. There's more to say about a bad work received, but this is enough to know the reason for my rating; I feel disappointed.

Yesterday I took my dodge charger 2014 just do do an oil change. I always taken my car there to do an oil change . A lot of people told me not to take it there because they always mess up something so I didn’t believe that , so I continued taking it there for so long . But yesterday just to do an oil change my came with engine light on and the oil light too . So I called right away they told me to take it back for the oil light on because supposedly my engine light was already on and is not true the only light I have on is the tires . So now my car have does two lights that didn’t have have it be fore . They asked me if I wanna do a diagnostic for the engine light asking me to pay $100 . I just when for oil change and came out with a problem with my car . So take pictures be fore taking your car be fore they said you brought like that . I’m so mad now because I don’t even know what did they do with my car now .

I recently got new tires, asked for a tire rotation, and to check to see if one of my tires had a nail. I was told it would be 90 minutes . Ended up being over two hours, they installed my two new tires on the front instead of the back and said it was because I had front wheel drive, didn't do my tire rotation even though it's listed on my receipt, and didn't check any of my tires then proceeded to lie and say they didn't do the rotation because they were waiting on car recommendations. I wouldn't write this if they would have been honest and just said we forgot and messed up. But instead they insisted on lying about best practices insisting it was best to have new tires on the front since it's front wheel drive.

I spent over $900 dollars on a water pump replacement within a week, had other work done as well receipts to prove it. I came 2hrs before closing with a flat tire no one helped me I was told to come back another time. Essentially Tow myself away or ride on the rim home. Very disappointed, hurt, 😞 at the lack of service All bays Empty wow. I won’t return I urge anyone reading this invest where they respect & appreciate you. Upon leaving I watched them take another customer walk in I was turned away with a smile.
