Mr. David and the crew were friendly and amazing. They took me without an appointment and had my car ready when promised. I went for a tire repair. My tire had to be replaced but because I had a warranty the expense was ~$50 to replace the tire. I have been going to NTB since they were affiliated with Sears and I have not been disappointed yet.

The silver spring team was extremely helpful, particularly Teddy and Jarrel. They were flexible in scheduling and open to letting me consider pricing and which services to move forward with. I felt at ease and happy to be there, which is not the usual w car service places, for me at least. Thanks again to them all!

This was my first time visiting. Jarel and teddy helped me. One of my tires had a nail in it and unfortunately was in a spot they couldn't patch so I had to buy a new tire. They got me a small discount and put the new tire on really quick. Got there 10 minutes before 4pm was out by 4:30pm. Good people and great service. Thankfully they had the tire for my car in stock. They filled all 4 tires to 33 psi so hopefully I won't have low pressure anytime soon.

I had a great experience at NTB for my oil change. The staff was professional, efficient, and got me in and out quickly. Everything was explained clearly, and there were no surprises. I’ll definitely be coming back for future service.

Several months ago, I brought my car to NTSB because the tire light was on. I brought my car into NTSB and the problem was fixed in 10 minutes. I had the same issue several days ago and Jerell fixed the tire. He explained that tires lose air in the winter. Jerell is amazing, very friendly, patient and nice.

Reseasonly bought pair of tires at this location. Mr. Teddy was the gentleman who worked with me to make purchases of tires for my 2011 Ford Edge Sel. Didn’t have an appointment but Mr. Teddy took me in and told me he’ll squeeze me in ASAP. Mr. Teddy told me he’ll do his best due to couple of appointments in front. I purchased two tires, alignment and tires rotation. Within an hour I was out the door. Mr. Teddy was very professional at his craft handling my situation and a 1st time customer at the Burtonsville location. Teddy is a great person and I made a new friend on 1/21/26. Thanks Le. Ted! I have a Mercedes' CLK 320. The tire blew off the rim. I had it towed to this NTB. The tow truck was a flat bed and the driver was rolling the car on the rim which is $600. The gentleman here came out of the shop and changed the tire as soon as it was set down. They saved my rim from being damaged. I am grateful and will be buying my future tires here

Did a call over the phone and was given excellent service, but it didn’t stop there, when I walked it I was treated with such love and respect! Everyone at this place is awesome. I WILL BE BACK

Excellent service! They quickly fixed the tire issue I had. Was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would recommend to friends and family!

Teddy customer service was excellent. Paid attention to details and caught a mistake I had made during booking and corrected it for me. I appreciate all his help and knowledge.

I am very satisfied with the service that I received from NTB Silver Spring (Briggs Chaney). I had a very rough day and to find out I had a flat tire on my way home was the icing on the cake. When I arrived at NTB I was pleasantly greeted by David, and he patiently answered all my questions and thoroughly explained the issue with my tire. David and the technician helped me to come to a satisfactory decision. I am grateful for their service.

I came in just for an oil change, they discovered a problem and solved it immediately. Great service and Excellent staff!!!

If there’s a zero star, I would have given them. I took my Honda Accord to this place. I was hearing small fainted noise so I took it to them. They came back to me and said is the tire, and it’s need alignment and everything will cost about 485 at the beginning. I asked them is too much so they checked and realize I got warrant on it so it came down to 305. They did it. I took the car and just at the premises I tried it and the noise was worse and my break is not working, huge cracking noise on the brakes. I told the manager Jessel or whatever his name is, he looks Somalia born American. Sound American. He told me a whole lot of stories and ask me to take it to a nearby Mechanic to fix it for me. He gave me his complementary card and wrote at the back free oil change. It was funny. I went back to the other manager and she told me there’s nothing she can do so I should wait for the other manager he just went out for break. Who ever owns this business, please this pple are collapsing ur business and if u are aware of it that’s a very bad services they are giving out there. I think my first time I will go to court.

My experience was 5 star from the moment I called to inquire about service, when I dropped my car off David welcomed my husband and I with a smile and charm, and Jarrell the manager was welcoming and they gave us a discount on the tire! When I returned to pick up my vehicle, David remembered me, asked about my husband! Just stellar customer service! I highly recommend the Silver Spring location for NTB! Really great service and great people! 💯

I had a great experience at National Tire & Battery on Automobile Blvd in Silver Spring. The turnaround time was quick, and the staff was pleasant, friendly, and conversational — they really made the wait feel shorter. While the waiting area could use a few upgrades (and a TV with a better signal), it was clean and comfortable. Overall, solid service and a positive experience — I’ll definitely return for future maintenance needs!

I had set up an appointment to be here on 10/4 and didn't show up due to sickness, but rescheduled and came in on 10/5/25 for Oil change/Tire Rotation after speaking with Erica. Upon my arrival, Erica happened to greet me and was so pleasant and understanding of my no show the day before. She is very kind and so nice to talk to, very knowledgeable of the service I needed and got me on my way once service it was completed. She even made sure my stay was comfortable, showed me the TV remote and WiFi access. Quite amazing person and quite amazing experience.

I had a fantastic experience at NTB! The customer service over the phone was so friendly, and I really appreciated being serviced on such short notice. I came in for a tire patch and the whole process was quick and easy. Front desk person David was extremely welcoming and helpful — thank you so much! Very impressed with these folks. I blew out a tire and was in a bind to get it replaced. Honestly my regular tire guy was closed early on Saturday. I was able to set everything up online while waiting for AAA. They even called me to confirm my appointment. I was thrilled to be able to get it done right away. We're heading out of town early in the morning so it was critical. Five stars!!!

David at the silver spring location was very helpful and honest about the work that needed to be done. He gave us upfront pricing and allowed us to make a choice on what we wanted done with no cold untactful salesman pressure and I am very grateful for that. The energy of the whole place is quiet while the work gets done. I would highly recommend this location if you are in the area.

I went in for brakes and decided not to get them installed because the guy was attempting to charge me almost 600$ and more for brakes, fluid and supposedly something else that would have been a additional 300 to 400$ so I declined and told them I would just take my care to my normal mechanic because the last two times I came it’s like they always discover something new. Upon my arrival I was waiting for the mechanic to bring out my car while I was standing inside. As I am still waiting I see the mechanic walk back in looking disgruntled explaining something to the manager. When I see my car is out of the garage I make my way outside and as I am crossing the parking lot my boyfriend meets me halfway and says the mechanic just crashed your car!! He backed out of garage super fast straight in the trees!! The manager was trying to cover the technician by blaming my breaks when they were clearly not the reason he crashed into the trees , my boyfriend saw the whole thing and said he never pressed the breaks. Also the other mechanic said he felt it was intentional and not an accident and that the other mechanic was tripping. The same mechanic who stated that it was intentional, did a test drive with my car to make sure the breaks was safe for me to drive to my usual mechanic This mechanic also stated that my pads were worn and that I didn’t really need breaks. Fast forward the Manager writes a incident report and tells me he can’t provide the insurance company’s information , I ask multiple times for it and only received the incident report and a call from the District Manager, who was barely any help at all and was in no way remorseful to this situation. I was so disgusted that I asked the the regional contact me due to this matter and I never received a call. I even called Corporate to put in a ticket and never received a call. To make matters worse they wouldn’t let me find my own repair shop because District Manager wanted to find a cheaper price than the quote provided from the place that the onsite manager told me to go for repairs. I had to wait for the quote To be approved, once it was approved the District Manger called me and told everything was paid and ready to go. I call the repair shop to see if I can drop off my car and they tell me the company has yet to pay them after the District Manger told me everything was set up in which he lied. I was without a vehicle for almost two weeks, they said they would provide a rental but I declined due to the extra fees I would have to pay that they should Have took responsibility of. Now here I am waiting another week for the last few adjustments to be made to my vehicle because the bumper was not properly placed and my tail light is still cracked . The entire process was exhausting and I would Avoid this place at all cost. No honesty and they tried to take advantage of me due to being a female when he quoted the price before hand. I would not trust this company or their mechanics.
