This place has been in my family's Go to mechanics for years solid work every time every single time I have took my car here for a problem it has been fixed and prompt time just recently my air quit working and they got it fixed it's now blowing so cold I can't even handle it Good job guys.

Kevin and his team are some great hardworking folks. I’ve taken a lot of cars to Coopers since I started driving. Mr Cooper always did great work, I knew AJ and Angie fairly well. I’m glad Kevin owns it now and is keeping up the great reputation of Coppers.

It’s hard to find a shop like this. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have taken all of my vehicles here and they get the job done at a fair price. I’d recommend them to anyone!

I don't write a lot of reviews, but my experience here was better than expected. I found out my car was misfiring, and just like anyone else I need my car to get me back and forth to work. I called Coopers and spoke to Kevin the next day and asked if they were able to fix the misfire. He let me know they could and gave me a fair and honest price. The service that I received from the moment I called to the moment that I paid for the repairs was unmatched and was something I had never experienced before. If you need your car repaired in any way. I'm letting you know right now if you go anywhere else but here. You will regret it. Like I did for not bringing my car here in the first place.

I highly recommend taking any vehicle to Coopers Automotive. The owner and the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They will not try and sell you anything that doesn’t need fixed and are honest.

Cooper's has been around for years. Cooper's is the place to go if you need your vehicle look at in the Kansas City area they are good on Price and I've never had any issues after they worked on whatever issues I have had on any of my vehicles. I've had them worked on 4 different cars and a truck over a 10years years span I give them 5 stars. They get what needs to be fixed the first time and they don't take advantage of you they are certified. Kevin and the other mechanics are great team and the lady that answers the phone is kickass.

I love this place. I've had to bring them my vehicle 3 separate times and every time I am handled in a prompt and fair manner.

They're super nice over the phone and always have fantastic, quick service.

They did a pre buy inspection on a car I was considering purchasing, and did a very thorough job! Seemed genuinely invested in making sure I was getting a good vehicle, which we did end up purchasing. Will continue to come to Cooper Automotive instead of my old mechanic for servicing my car.

Do Not Leave Your Vehicle Here. I left my truck here to get fixed never heard back about repairs so I called the shop. First, they put me on hold for 5 minutes then told me my truck was not here and they thought I had come and got it, even though they still had my key and I had it towed to the shop. I went to file a police report and they told me that this company has had a lot of break in’s and theft. The bad thing was no one called to tell me anything or leave a message, so now it’s long gone and they had no sense of sincerity. . Slums ☹️

I basically bought a new car but I'm pretty sure it was worth it. Car was over heating within minutes of using it. Turns out my radiator was I taking air from unknown places. Turns out my head gasket needed to be fixed. The secretary is super sweet and they changed all my fluids. I'd go again if needed

My car overheated and I had it towed to Cooper Automotive after they were closed for the day. My car was ready a day later! I drove it home and it started hissing and revving when I pulled in my driveway, I called them and told them what was going on…..Kevin the owner drove to my house so he could take a look! I was blown away that he would come to me! He figured out the problem and it was an easy fix! I highly recommend!

A family member referred me to Kevin here at cooper's, he is amazing I'll continue coming here, I've found my new mechanic. Very happy with the service I received. Kevin knew my van was all I have right now and worked to get it in and done very quickly for me.

When John Cooper owned and run this garage ,he was fair and honest. He retired and sold it. They still use his name. I had them put a thermostat in my van, my charge for this was $600.00. just a little high even for a van.

Took my truck in for an inspection, and explained that I thought it needed brakes. They did the inspection and said it didn't need brakes. They could have charged me for brakes, but didn't. Very honest people.

This shop is the best experience I've ever had when having to deal with car problems. The service is excellent, the staff goes above and beyond to help, and very very fair prices. They got my car fixed quickly. I highly recommend using this shop. I won't be going anywhere else!

Highly recommend Cooper for general mechanical work. Honest, fairly prices, personable. Impressed with Troy. He walked me through what he found and didn't push to up sell / fix it as it was non-critical. Love these folks.

I would recommend this spot to others. Very honest and amazing service. Had a messed up oil change from Valvoline and then received a check engine light. Was able to leave the car and key in a drop box before hours to accommodate with my schedule and got it fixed the same day. Kevin, the owner, called me and gave me the details of what was wrong and was done and wasn’t feeling jipped at all. I called many places to get help and this place stuck out to me. I was very satisfied by the service and will be coming here again for future vehicle needs.

I had a tire come off its wheel and drove it here since I was down the street. They were going to help me get a new tire but I had a spare under the truck, and they were nice to change them out for me and didn't charge. But I went ahead and tipped the guy all the cash I had in my pocket.

Charged me 1600 for a job in late march 2015. In May 2015 they still had my car, it doesn't run right, and they refused to provide a loaner for rental for all the additional visits after the or to issue a refund. Until finally I couldn't be without a car anymore and had to go buy another one. After about 8 weeks of having my car, he finally agreed to pay for a rental car. Of course by then I had already gotten another car and didn't need a rental car, so all that was for me was a demonstration of acceptance of responsibility for what he had done to my car. His part-time contractor employee messed up my engine by not putting the timing chain on it properly and then they gave the car back to me and it broke loose warping the block; and in the end he refused to either replace the engine or give me my money back. July 2015, he never did fix it. He never did refund ANY of my money. He killed my car and charged me $1600 to do so, note that's Mr. Cooper, the owner. When I got another car and rather than deal with the BS and stress I just let a lien holder take possession of the car to clear the debt and be done with the whole mess. Ask yourself this question why is his repair shop surrounded by non-working Vehicles like it's a junkyard? I would venture to guess those were the ones he couldn't fix over the years and believe me he sure had added mine to the pile parked it in one of those spots and really it just didn't move for a lot of the time that it was there. BEWARE - DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY MAJOR WORK - THEY ARE NOT CAPABLE -AND WILL NOT TREAT YOU FAIRLY IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG, MR. COOPER IS A CROOK, ROBBING STRUGGLING SINGLE MOTHERS.

AWESOME PEOPLE who do GREAT WORK. Just picked up our car this afternoon, had a nice chat with the owner who is a super nice guy. This place has always stood behind their work and gives us all our repair options.

I've unfortunately had to bring my car to Cooper's a couple times for various problems. They're always very professional and keep me up-to-date on what's going on with my vehicle. It's usually finished in a timely manner. I have no experience with other places in order to compare costs, but what I've paid seems reasonable to me. Highly recommend them for service.
