Truly an experience that I will NEVER forget.... We are so thankful that we have the Recycle Dop-Off Center in our area.

Highly recommend! The bins are well laid out and have lots of descriptions for what goes where. The gentleman there today were kind and helpful.

We recently moved to the area and needed to recycle a lot the moving boxes. We loaded them into our vehicle and went to the Center. Our experience was very good with plenty of assistance from the attendants! The Center is full service with all types of recycling including glass! Thank you for this excellent service to our community.

I drove 20 minutes to the recycling site after reviewing the website to know what I could take to that site and I was turned away and told I could leave nothing there. A plastic office runner, two small strings of Christmas lights, old license plates.

Picky in what they accept. Workers not very pleasant. Wish there was another one to use because definitely would.

I just went to drop off some recyclables on a Thursday morning, and two gentlemen named Jack and Ensley were superb!! They were extremely helpful and dropped some knowledge about what items can be recycled and where. They helped me unload as well! Highly recommend for the northland community!

Horrible customer service! My boxes were flat, but not flat enough to fit in the trailer in the row exactly the way the lady wanted. She kept yelling at me. Finally I just took my bin of boxes and left! RUDE

Uhhh...the person working here looked to be having a full-on raging meltdown, and at one point got quite violent and was throwing cardboard all over the place. Something's definitely not right. I don't pretend to know if the individuals that work here are volunteers or paid employees, but it doesn't really matter because the behavior I just witnessed really shouldn't be occurring in public at all (let alone at a business/enterprise of some sort). The other reviews seem to be similar. Perhaps this endeavor (whatever it is) should wrap it up and call it a day.

There was one man who worked here who I felt like was part of the Gestapo. Incredibly rude dude… very condescending. If you don’t like your job, get a new one. If you’re a volunteer you need to stop, they don’t need you that bad.

After coming here, made me just want to throw my recyclables in the garbage. There’s usually some old hippie sitting at the gate who yells at you for not having the boxes exactly perfect. Maybe the other sites have more helpful staff.

Saturday afternoon I load up my car and drive to the recycling center, only to find it closed with no explanation, the 2nd time this has happened. But overall, this place is crucial, and I'm grateful it's here! They're usually very helpful.

Good when its open. Google says open til 5 on Saturday and my husband went at 3 and they are closed. We have a newborn and now need to bring everything back upstairs so we can fit the baby in the car until they are supposedly open again on Wednesday

For the past few weeks it’s impossible to know when they are open or closed. Went today and was informed that they will not re-open until next Wednesday. Kansa City needs to find a new company to run this site!

Second time in two weeks that I have tried to go to this location only to have it closed. If scheduling is an issue that's fine, but you need to update your hours so that folks are not disappointed.

So grateful to find this place! Awesome volunteers! They are sometimes closed if it's extremely cold or if the heat index reaches 106° f. Possibly close if they can't find enough volunteers also. I go first thing in the morning.

I love this place! Friendly staff and since they don't offer recycling at my house I take everything I can up here.

Sure wish there was some way for you to let us know if the center will not open for the day. It has been closed for 3 days. Perhaps a Facebook page where you can let folks know?

Not very nice to be closed so frequently on days you list as open without publishing the temporary closure. It is very disrespectful of our time and gas. It is completely understandable that you may need to be closed on days you are normally open. I understand that there simply may not be anyone to work it. Things happen. What I cannot stomach is the complete disregard of others time and gas. There is no excuse whatsoever for not publishing your temporary closure. It takes nothing to temporarily change your online (google) hours to reflect the temporary closure, AND post signs on your fence saying when you will reopen so that we don’t waste our time and gas driving there EVERY DAY. It’s called respect for fellow human beings. Try it! Until then…Shame on you. I’ll start looking around for a new location.

Needs to be Open 24/7. Why close it for 3 days is ridiculous. Prefer to go to Liberty

Just left there at 2:45pm on a Saturday. It was CLOSED. This is the second time this year that they have been closed during their regular hours when I have attempted to bring my recycling. When they are open, they are fine.

I have tried 5 times during their regular posted hours but, each time, they've been locked up. And it's not like I'm getting there right before they're scheduled to close. So don't waste your time or gas.

I always have a great experience at this recycling center. It’s clean, the worker is usually helpful if you need help you may have to wait your turn because he usually stays busy and is the only person there. And just an FYI usually during very cold temperatures, inclimate weather and holidays the center will not be open.

Went there twice in the last 2 weeks. Not open each time. Yes I was there during the hours they were supposed to be open

the person working is beyond rude and told us to “never come back” because i had a backseat full of disassembled boxes. would not stop pestering us for bringing our recycling and that he was forced to “deal with us” when we were perfectly capable of putting our boxes away ourselves

Marky Mark the manager/ supervisor in charge is great. Very laid ? Recycling is great but in order for it to really make a difference we need to as humans consume less!?

I volunteered there today. Everyone was very pleasant who came, friendly and wore masks. A very excellent experience and I can't wait to go back to volunteer again.

Love this place! I'm so glad they found a location after losing the Metro North Mall spot. It's simple to follow the recycling guidelines and a quick process whether you recycle a little or lot. It is smaller compared to the old spot and the big location off Chouteau but the people who volunteer to manage here are nicest and on top of the job. I would suggest to do some sorting before you arrive if you can. Makes it go quicker!
