Okay shop owner operator and manager here. This particular establishment is top tier. The best used car parts in the metro area. Why? Well I had a experience with these guys recently that has me feeling obligated to give credit where it is due. So I got a 350 SBC and just like anything on planet earth when It stays idle or rather completely still. That's not good on anything let alone an engine but they upheld there warranty without any hostility and where the utmost professional in a personal sense. They saw what they need to and tried to remedy it and to there credit and respect I understand and appreciated it. Then just to go home and think long and hard and decide to to go with my 454 big block at home and if you hold onto your recipe they're do everything in there power to remedy it and or fix and honestly I think how they let me come back and make the choice to not use it because of of the one at home I was pleased and grateful they saw it from my standpoint and didn't give me a hard time for anything. That is something money can't buy and something you can't teach and that's enstill into others yourself unless you lead by example like this. Bravo late model I will be referring you to everyone from now on. Thank you and sorry again myself.
Im not sure about any of the other employees, but the employee named Josh was paid for work he never completed on my car. After all of the money for parts that I bought and paying him for working on my car to fix the problem, the problem was never fixed and he didn't even use a code reader initially before diagnosing what the problem was. And to get him to finish the job, since I had already went without my car for two days, he tried blowing me off on the third day and either ignored me completely or had an attitude when I asked him anything about a time frame of when it'd be done.
I had an excellent experience with Ana, Liz, and Chris at Late Model! Each of them was professional, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Ana was incredibly knowledgeable, Liz made the whole process smooth and easy, and Chris showed great attention to detail. Their teamwork and customer service were top-notch—thank you all for making it such a positive experience!
Customers property/part was stolen from a vehicle on their property. Did not accept responsibility for it occurring or help to fix the situation. Not recommended.
I have been buying parts from that place.My respects to the ladies who serve at the front as they are efficient and kind and I admire and respect them.
Reasonably priced parts " salvageable" parts, they also advertise parts locator capabilities to the other salvage yards in the Kansas City metro area, I seen that they have delivery, but not sure if that is for individuals versus repair garages... Downside... Some parts have to be pulled that are not on the shelves & that may take up to an hour or so
They showed a price online and when I called to get it they more than doubled the price and wouldn't honor their online price. Terrible customer service.
Bought a part that came in broke. They were called to pick up part but never came to pick up. Called again and emailed photo of damaged part. Stated they wouldn't sell parts like that. Well they did. Lost my business
Bought a faulty radiator from these guys. I shouldn't have taken it because it looked like someone had drug it behind their car, but I figured I could return it if it leaked. I tested it for leaks and it seemed fine, until I installed it. The connections for the ATF went in exactly the same way that the old ones came out, but after idling for a few minutes there was a LOT of ATF in my coolant and when I disconnected the lines to take it back out, the ATF component slipped back into the radiator and was bouncing around. They wouldn't even refund me the core charge for the radiator because I took off the ATF connectors that came on it (that were cut and pinched off). Buyer beware, awful customer service. If you buy it, you keep it.
Took longer then it was suppose to take to order my part, then I asked about refund incase this was the wrong part, was told yes I can get a refund but it was in a check form, then a couple days later I was told to read the back of the receipt for refund details that states something totally different lesson learned, to stick with autozone.
Well i don't know how to start but i got a transmition here that was broken already so they took my car after 1 week they knew about it and then after havin the car another week they toldme was bad i lost 3 weeks with them very iresponsable people they do not care about you then they knew they needed to change the transmition they took another 4 days to bring it so buying parts here be ready to have money in ypur pocket or rent a long term car they do not care about you its all about them if i were you i will think couple times before buying anything
I used to be a jet engine mechanic ,built cell phone towers, know little bit about cars I've been to salvage yards all over the country this is by far the best , not only did they have my part which they held 3 days 4 me, they recognized I had the wrong part in my car, they also got me the correct part show me how to remove AND troubleshot it , AND MADE SURE IT WORKED! There just the best thanks Mike and William.
Went in to get a part that I needed. Unfortunately they didn't have it. To my surprise, they bent backwards to help me find the actual part that I needed for my car. They traced it down, and was even able to give me the price on what I would pay for it. I have bought from this place couple years back and I noticed the service has the same good quality and outstanding. Definitely one of my go to places when in Need for auto parts.
After checking around various salvage yards we found the part we needed for my daughters car. They had it priced competitively and the employees we dealt with were friendly and knowledgeable. If we need another part we don't mind driving the 2 hours to do business with Late Model Auto Parts.
Great place to get used/practically new tires. Needed to replace my truck tires & was trying to keep from spending $ 800-1000. Called Late Model & they had what I was looking for. Got a set of Goodyear Wranglers 90% tread used tires for $ 350. With $80 to get them installed I came out saving a few hundred dollars or more. Steve & Robert were very helpful as they didn't initially have my size but wrote down my info & called me just 3 days later to say they had some now. I asked & they told me that they process totaled vehicles but take off anything that's usable before scraping the remainder. This basically means a new truck gets totaled & I get a great deal. I would definitely give them a call the next time you need tires or anything vehicle related.
Very friendly staff & great prices. Price quoted was same as listed on internet, we found others companies were deceiving. Very fast and dependable. We have found our new favorite place for used car parts.
advertises national but refuses to ship any parts.. poor customer service. id shy away from buying anything from them! this is the second time I had bad service. first time I drove 3 hours to pick up a front end for a 09 f150 that was in "good shape" got there and it was utter garbage!
Absolutely furious. Spent all day calling a bunch of scrap yards to find a fender for my car. Guy I talked to was very nice and told me the price of the part and what shipping would be. But I would need to call back the next day as the lady who handles the shipping was not in. So I called back in and they refused to ship me the item. Thanks alot.
These people got me in and out on a busy day when the staff was obviously stressed in a quick and professional manor without taking anything out on me. And the part was right the first time also, which is more than can be said for Orielly's. They r a joke.
JJ at the front desk was very quick to greet me and determine the availability of the needed parts. I went to the back to find a wheel center cap and was greeted by someone (didn't get his name) who was very helpful and went above and beyond to help a customer (me!). I will be back due to his interaction and knowledge of the inventory (not in the computer). He made the sale! JJ also did a great job of letting me try the part and determine correct fit!
