*****BUYER BEWARE***** I went to this dealer and told them I was looking for a cheap car to use so i could get a job. They pointed out a dodge with 118k thousand miles. I bought it for 2850. The very next day the engine blew and the dealership would not speak to me or even take my call and when I finally got someone to answer they laughed at me and told me too bad. I'd be willing to take my two reviews down and stop telling every person I meet about the bad experience I had with this dealer if they would be willing to help me out with another cheap car but we both know that's never going to happen.

My car's head gasket blew within a week of purchase. Now it's toast and worthless. Thanks, Midway Auto Sales. Be very cautious when purchasing from this dealer; they employ deceptive sales techniques that may not be apparent at first but become clear once your purchase falls apart or you spend more time with the vehicle. For instance, I found the car I bought through an internet search. When I arrived at the lot, the car wasn't out in the hot sun. I went inside and asked if they had sold it. They said no and that they would pull it around. When they brought the car out, they casually mentioned that the air conditioning only blew out of the defrost vents. When I got in, the black leather seats were cool to the touch, making it seem like the AC was sufficient. I believe they deliberately kept the car cool in the garage, rather than servicing it, as it had no fluids and four severely underinflated tires. They also conveniently neglected to mention that the car had a salvage and rebuilt title until after I had exchanged money and completed all the paperwork. It wasn’t until I signed the title and flipped it over that I saw it was a salvage title. Furthermore, this dealership’s license to perform Missouri vehicle safety inspections should be investigated. They conducted the inspection on-site right after the purchase was complete, making me wait two hours, yet somehow missed two non-functional blinkers (right and left), a severe exhaust manifold leak, and a non-existent emergency brake, alongside a missing brake fluid reservoir cap nearly causing me to have a very serious accident when the vehicles brake pressure suddenly zeroed out while I was exiting the highway. I understand that when buying a cheap old used car, these are problems you might encounter, and vigilance is necessary. This is an experience I would expect when dealing with a shady stranger from Facebook Marketplace, which is exactly why I went to a dealer. I hoped to do business with a company that cared about its reputation and aimed to inspire repeat business and ongoing customer relationships. After this interaction, my honest review of Midway Auto Sales is: "If you enjoy being treated like a cheap, disposable customer who is in for many upsetting and disheartening surprises throughout the car buying process, and shortly thereafter, then Midway Auto Sales is for you. Expect a vehicle that no knowledgeable, caring person would ever put a loved one, new driver, or themselves in—a hunk of junk that won't get you from point A to point B, dressed up in the 'dealer' experience. Otherwise, stick with the route of the shady stranger from Facebook Marketplace. You'll fare better, get more car for your money, and have a better chance of getting a vehicle that will last longer than two weeks before turning into $400 of scrap metal leaking antifreeze."

The most painless car buying experience I’ve ever had! Sam was super helpful, friendly, and receptive to price negotiation. Got a brand new car with some hail damage for a fraction of the price! I highly recommend!

I was in talks about trade in/selling my car with Jacob. Initial conversations were great, but once I emailed and shared all information such as Driver's License and Car Title, I was completely ghosted. I followed up a few times via email/phone but never heard back. Its ok for them to change their mind, but at least extend the courtesy and notify rather than ghosting.

My wife got this 2017 ATS under 700 miles for $18,000.⁰⁰. Bought it in 2020. Still rolling strong with no issues. I'll be buying my next truck here at an amazing price. Thanks 😊

We bought a 2016 Subaru Outback from Midway in 2020. It was such an easy and enjoyable process. They are great to work with and take care of their customers like family. We are so thankful for our reliable vehicle!

I bought two cars in two weeks. Both experiences were great. The first was a Loan process that was quick and easy, they washed the car, gas it up, and had it ready for pick up. Wonderful experience.... The 2nd car was even better. The same day they posted the car on the website is the same day I came to test drive it... They hadn't had the car even 24 hours yet... they had to work out a few kinks seeing how as they just got it but after a day, they tested and fixed what they noticed needed fixing in the car. That being said, this is a great and trusted car lot... Matt promised the cash car would get fixed before I handed over the cash and no one else would have an opportunity to purchase the car because I came ready to purchase first. That's old school and I can appreciate the value in keeping promises. I spent $20K in two weeks and came out with a new car and a cash car... both experiences were handled great. Best car buying experience we've ever had. Very friendly and easy to work with staff. We had no experience buying from an auto salvage dealer and this was a wonderful experience. Very fast transaction. No more haggling for hours or signing tons of forms to get our car. And no ridiculous fees!!! We were in and out in less than an hour, including test drive. We were able to get a brand new car for a fraction of the retail price because of the hail damage. Very very happy with our experience. Thank you.

I bought 2 Honda Civic sports from Midway, and I couldn't be happier. I doubt if I'll ever buy from anywhere else again. The transaction was the most painless car purchase I've ever made, both times. The cars were also brand new (totaled from water damage) but have absolutely no signs of damage. Update: I've now purchased 3 cars from midway, and they've been great.

I recently purchased a new Winnebago motor home from Midway Auto. I live in Utah, and was shopping remotely online. The RV had some hail damage, and the price/posting reflected this. Matt (salesperson) was very open and honest with me regarding the condition of the RV, and pointing out specific areas of damage. I would highly recommend Midway Auto (and Matt) if you are looking for a late model vehicle that is not quite perfect, but at a great price!

Midway Auto is a wonderful place to purchase a vehicle! I worked with Matt on the purchase of new hail damaged Motorhome. I had to fly in from Salt Lake City to Kansas City. The Motorhome condition was exactly as Matt promised over phone. I felt like I was goven a fair price and saved a lot of money over purchasing a new one elsewhere. Great guys, and the best car buying experience I've had. We bought a 2018 Equinox with 6 miles on it...it now has 11,000...no issues whatsoever. We did buy the warrantee just in case. I was referred to these folks by another long time customer. I've recommended, and will buy all my cars from Midway.

Great service and value if you know what you are looking for. We ended up with a very nice trailer and thay went out of the way to help. The only reason for 4 star is it seems there were some missing parts some which were replaced and some not. Price did reflect this which was good but to have the vacuum hose missing after purchase was not good. Overall I would buy from again and hope thay lock down security better.

Sales person was rude over the phone. I called about an RV that had hail damage and asked if they had a sale price. The salesman told me that the price online was the price of the RV and that he might be able to go down a little bit. I informed him that I was looking for RVs in the $50,000 price range, in case he had another RV on the lot that would suit my needs. Instead of suggesting another RV, he said "Ha, you think we have a $16,000 markup on our RVs? I wish, because if we did I'd be driving a Ferrari." I would suggest people steer clear of this dealership, at least until their poor customer service has been addressed.

Purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion in October 2017. The car is fantastic and I was able to deal directly with Michael regarding the sale. The customer service in the back office is amazing. Everyone back there deserves kudos!!!
